This is a few months overdue, but I couldn't NOT sing Alfredo's praises. My car was broken into while I was at the movies one evening--NOT what I was expecting to come out to, may the thief ROT--and the following morning, I began the task of gathering quotes to fix my rear passenger window. Alfredo was one of two businesses with VERY reasonable pricing and great response times, and his pricing was actually the best overall. He was able to come out to my place and install a new window within a few hours (if that) of my initial request for a quote! As requested, he also fixed a small chip in my front windshield for a nominal extra fee. Also, as a courtesy, they also vacuum all of the broken glass out of your car, and it was SO nice to not have to worry about that, on top of the stress of dealing with theft and insurance claims, and the like. I am blown away. Amazing. I had my car broken into and needed a window repair, cost was 169 and some tax. He were mobile and came to my apartment to fix my car!!! In addition, my car had shattered glass everywhere. And it was a mess. He helped me move stuff out of the way and vacuumed my car for me! Then he went to repair my window, looks good as new. Competitive (lowest) price, free mobile, and free vacuum. Hands-down the best experience I've had with an auto glass company. I've had good and bad experiences with others, but A Texas Staunch Auto Glass beats them all. First off, their mobile service is beyond convenient. They came to my house and replaced my windshield while I worked inside. Second, the installer who came (Alfredo) was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained everything I might need to know, including the quality of glass he used - which was very good. Even when I pointed out the shoddy work another glass company had done, he didn't want to say anything negative about them despite them being his competition. He also worked efficiently and let me know exactly how long to let the adhesive set once he was finished. The greatest part is that he achieved what any glass, paint, or body shop should: when the job was done it was impossible to tell that it wasn't factory-original. All that, and still at a lower price than any of the other auto glass companies around town! I should also mention that some of the other companies use him as a subcontractor, so you're better off cutting out the middle man and contacting him directly. You'll be glad you did! read more
