However, in my opinion, from the standpoint of someone garnering quotes for a future mirror replacement, the receptionist or customer service associate who answered the phone did not have a good enough concept of (potential) customer relations. After a truly harrowing, somewhat traumatizing freeway experience, I thought the person answering the phone would at least have some kind of empathy or even just a professional, friendly tone. My initial request to speak to a mechanic or service advisor was ignored. Anyways, I volunteered info about the make, model, year and color of the car, but she only seemed interested in the VIN number, which I provided. Any other place asks for all of this info. She actually said I read the VIN number too fast at the end of my reading of it, which makes no sense as I never read numbers that fast out of courtesy. I even took the extra step of making sure she got the letters correctly, but, again, she did not appreciate that. Instead, she rather unprofessionally and abruptly ended the entire call. I've never had this kind of low vibration, low intelligence customer service from any auto-related business. So, I called back and left a message thinking perhaps the owner would contact me either the same day or the next, to no avail. Every other business I have contacted, from dealerships to independent repair and body shops, have had much more impressive and professional communications.

He replaced my rear window with high-quality American Standard Safety Glass that includes the factory tint, and the installation was completed in about an hour. Sadly, this happens all over Houston and if you leave anything out in the open, the odds are they will get you. I immediately put in a quote request using Yelp and got messages back in a decent amount of time. Atlas wasn't the highest rated out of the companies, but their prices were very good and they were able to get me in next day. I chose not to file a claim with insurance as the deductible was higher than the cost of the windows. The gentleman I talked to was quick to respond and very courteous. They had my back window in stock which was my main concern. I showed up to their located in Southeast Houston. It's an old shop with a lobby that isn't the most comfortable. I waited on my vehicle which took a lot longer then they originally told me. I paid when the job was done and was given instructions not to roll down the windows for a few days, and that they cleaned out all broken glass. In typical Justin fashion, I took them for their word and went on home. Upon closer inspection, there was still glass remnants all around. When I did roll down my window, it would not go back up. I called and was told to bring the vehicle back. Right away, they told me it was not their fault and that I would need a new motor and regulator for the window. I was told I could buy the part and they would do it for me. There is no way I can confirm that it wasn't their fault, but my vehicle is pretty new and I know those parts don't fail that easily. Overall, the customer service started off great, but I was not happy that I was sent home with something that wasn't properly working. The prices were good, but I would much rather pay more for complete service.

I used them twice for different houses, so that alone is a testament of my good experience with this company. On my latest install, they were professional from start to finish, although not perfect in some areas (more on that later). I'll start with the issues, and then close with the positives. On our first house, I encountered some disappointing challenges during the execution/installation phase. Our garden was trampled on, one of the windows were installed on the wrong spot, and a light fixture was damaged and the crew tried (poorly) fixing it without notifying me (all caught on CCTV). With all that said though, the company stands by doing the right thing and resolved everything on a timely manner. How it was handled was much appreciated and influenced me to use them again and refer others. On our second house, almost everything went smoothly. All windows were replaced in just two days! Just encountered a minor hiccup when a wall was damaged and a worker claimed it was pre-existing. Luckily, I purposely took before-photos and was able to provide evidence that it was not pre-existing. In the end, it was fixed within satisfaction. As for the positives, I really have to give credit to Milton, the supervisor on the second house. He was very professional and accommodating. On one of the windows, he found water damage and pointed it out to me instead of trying to cover it up. The damage and source were all fixed. Seriously, he could have moved on and I would have never known! All the windows were installed to my satisfaction. Few minor quirks remained, but possibly due to the window manufacture (or so I was explained). Also appreciate how floors snd countertops are covered to prevent/reduce damage and dust. I recommend this company. Here are some tips before using them (or any other window company): - Take lots of photos of each window before the work starts. Ensure to get several close ups and different angles of the trim and corners, both inside and out. Ensure good lighting for a useful photo. - Check with your HOA to see if it's the window replacements are allowed. Some care about colors of trim and grid vs non-grid. - Expect the order to take several months to come in. Get your quote early if it's a house you plan on moving in.

I needed to replace my windshield in order to get my car inspected as the damage to my window was unfortunately too severe to be repaired. After spending way too long on Google trying to get quotes, I figured I would go on Yelp to try and hunt down the best deal and avoid wasting so much time getting confusing information from the endless number of places whose website had no way of even getting a basic quote. After reading the reviews of several different shops I already had Pulidos in mind when I entered my email to get quotes. I received several quotes, including some which were actually lower than Pulidos, but I didn't feel great about the way they responded to me, and the reviews for these shops were not the best. A couple of the shops had complaints of rude people, and several more had complaints of windshields that leaked the first time the car was exposed to rain. So, after reading those reviews I decided to go with Pulidos. Once I was in contact with them I let them know my car's make and model and my home address. They were quick to respond, always answered directly, and were polite. On the day of the repair, the representative, John, arrived a few minutes early and was waiting outside when I came to meet him. Right away he was courteous and straightforward, and I had the feeling he would probably do a good job replacing the windshield. I gave him my keys, answered a few questions, and then went back inside to wait for him to finish. I received a call in about a half an hour. Once I came downstairs to check out the job I was glad to see that everything appeared to have gone well. John was very professional throughout the process, timely, and seemed to have done a good job. He said to leave the tape on the windshield for 24 hours, and not to wash the car under any sort of high pressure. He also told me that if I had any issues in the future to give him a call and that he would make sure it was taken care of. After I removed the tape the next day, and after I cleaned the windshield, you couldn't even tell that it was a replacement, other than the fact that it was brand new! It has now been about a month since the windshield was replaced, and after a few rain storms, I am pleased to say that I have had no issues with the windshield whatsoever. I haven't always had great luck replacing glass in my car, and I've certainly replaced enough glass thanks to break-ins and rocks on the freeway, so my expectations were fairly low to begin with. Having said that, I am happy to say everything seems great, and I passed my inspection with no issues. So, if you are looking for a solid, reliable, and quick windshield replacement at a fair price, I would definitely recommend giving Pulidos a call! read more

They were the only guys willing to show up and replace my window on the same day it got busted. Got a quote up front and it was exactly the price I was charged--super affordable too. They skillfully removed the broken remnants and properly placed a new one without causing any damage to my car. They also vacuumed up the broken glass inside the car; they weren't thorough about it though, because I found numerous bits of glass under the seats. I'm also not impressed with their punctuality and communication; I gave them my address and gate code up front, they confirmed my appointment, but didn't give me an estimate of when they'd be out. After waiting 4 hrs they finally message me that they're on their way. I didn't think they needed anything else so I just waited for them but they didn't show up--turns out they wanted my phone number so they could call me and they weren't gonna show up until they could call--that's completely unnecessary. So after clearing that up, an hour later they texted saying they were going to be there in 16 min, but they show up a whole hour after they said they would, during which time there was NO communication to let me know they were delayed or anything. If it weren't for the punctuality and communication issues, I would give them 5 stars. read more

I cannot recommend Pulidos Auto Glass enough! If you live in the Houston area and are in need of a windshield repair or replacement, these are the guys you should go with. A week ago a small crack popped up on my windshield, a few days later that small crack turned into a massive crack spanning nearly the entirety of my windshield. I contacted Pulidos Auto Glass in the morning, and by the end of the day he had my windshield replaced. He offered to do it earlier in the day, but to accommodate my schedule he met me later in the day, and was even early for my appointment. He met me at my apartment complex and performed the entire replacement in my garage, which took less than 45 minutes. In addition to meeting me at my place on short notice and the quick repair, the cost was cheaper than all of the competitors in the area that I contacted. His customer service was top notch as well. I had a long crack running across the passenger side of my windshield. I went to many different places only to be told that I would need to pay $1500 to get it entirely replaced. Since I drive on the freeways very frequently, I kept asking myself, "What was the point of getting a new windshield only to hop back on the freeway and have another crack pop up?" I contacted Pulidos Auto Glass and they were the ONLY place that understood my concern of not wanting my windshield replaced. They assured me they would be able to fix the crack and make it look close to invisible. Although I was offered to have them come to me, I didn't mind driving almost 75 miles to them. Yes, you read that right. I went out of my way and drove more than an hour to get to them. And I do not regret it at all! They stayed true to their word and helped me get the windshield repaired. I drive a 2017 Tacoma and my rear window with the center sliding/opening panel was busted out on the right panel by some thieves over the weekend. I spent Monday gathering quotes in my area and not only was Pulido's Auto Glass one of the most competitive with regards to their pricing, they were also extremely rapid when responding to my request for a bid. My parents 2012 vehicle had a passenger side window busted out in a vandalism event. Johnathan responded to my request for a quote for a very reasonable $, quoting the repair would be using an OEM preowned replacement window. When he came out to do the repair, he used a brand-new replacement window as he said the preowned replacement wasn't up to snuff. He also charged me the same quoted $ that used the preowned window. From the time I called him for a quote to the time the repair was completed, took about 3 hours. Before I reached out to Pulidos Auto Glass, I had scheduled a national auto-glass chain to do the repair. They quoted $200 more for the work and couldn't do the repair until the following week. My rear glass window was shattered and had been that way for some time. I was trying to put off fixing it until I had enough money, but I drove in my driveway at a weird angle and the spider glass crack started to shatter in side my car. Highly recommended! Had a leaky windshield on my Explorer cop car so I needed gaskets. I shopped around and Pulido's gave me the best price and even gave me advice on how to do it myself. I tried, got stuck and realized I was in over my head so I called him back. John came to my place, did a custom job (including removing the searchlight, modifying the mounting and new part, then reinstalling the light), plus he fixed my own previous screwup, and tracked down a bad electrical connection. I had an incident with my windshield on Friday afternoon. We were scheduled to leave on an extended vacation on Monday morning. Set up a time and he came to my home, on time, very friendly and professional despite it being July and over 100 degrees. Work was done promptly and well. As always, I get great response time and amazing customer service from Pulidos Auto Glass. I have never had any issues with their work. Just got the windshield on my Outback. No issues. Anyone who owns Subaru's with eyesight know that the sensors can be finicky. Nope. Not with our Subaru. It is performing flawlessly. I am very satisfied. Don't waste your time looking for another company to resolve your windshield issues - USE THIS COMPANY! I called this company late in the afternoon knowing it may be late to schedule an appointment for this company to come out to my house to replace the windshield of my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee. They answered my call, were friendly, prompt and made it out to my house around 4PM. I also had a slight chip in my car and they ended up fixing that too so I got both cars fixed in maybe an hour. Yelp has a great feature that helps you find a businesses to help with certain needs. I created a project request on Yelp and was expecting to get a response in the morning when shops are open. To my surprise Quick Auto Glass responded to me within 10 mins. They gave me an estimate and the time of their business hours. They open at 8am and I arrived at 8:30. There was only one guy at the shop and he spoke little English but immediately got on the phone and told his partner I was there and gave him my vehicle information. He then told me "window on way" and he started vacuuming up the broken glass and doing the prep work. About an hour later his partner arrived with my window and with the prep work done he was able to install the window in about 10 mins. I was charged the estimated price I was given, plus tax of course. My only complaint is when I got home and was looking over everything I noticed a good amount of glass still under my seat. Other than that it was a great experience.
