They got my furniture in their truck speedily but when we arrived at my new apartment they began moving things up before scoping out the logistics. When bringing my sofa up the stairs, they scraped up the wall and broke the decorative detail on an arch in the entryway. This is a Victorian house. They also got my sofa halfway up the stairs in my apartment before realizing it would not fit. They spent an hour and a half arguing (2 guys) about how to get it up there, then when it was stuck halfway up the stairs, they told me it was impossible - but then couldn't get the couch back DOWN the stairs. It took maneuvering, but they managed it - while ripping the couch and putting two holes in my drywall in the process. The manager did come back to plaster the wall, but didn't do a good job, and only paid me $20 in damages for the couch and the wall. I would not recommend using this shoddy moving service.

It wasn't a ton of things but I wanted that as part of the job. Also, several things got dented and scratched. They wrapped some furniture once it got downstairs instead of when it was upstairs... not really sure why, but I have to guess that's where problems occurred. Some things also got damaged in the truck because of poor loading. Upon unloading it was clear that certain items shouldn't have been placed on others because of shape and weight. All in all, the job got done... but there were enough annoyances that I have to think another company will work better for you.

I would NEVER recommend Two Men and a Truck. Our contract…read morewith them was for packing our house, storing the furniture and packed items and then moving them back in 8 months later. The estimator totally underestimated the packing time and the number of boxes that would be required. That meant that the movers and truck had to go back to the warehouse with the full truck, store the furniture and packed boxes, get more boxes and come back to our house to complete the packing. That meant additional hours and LOTS more money. Eight months later, when our furniture and items were returned, is when we learned the real problems - not one box had been labeled. Which means that you cannot verify to the movers that you have received everything. BUT Two Men and a Truck make you sign papers releasing them from ANY liability when they have unpacked the truck but before you can unpack the boxes. We lost 2 boxes which contained ALL of our sheets and towels and our dinner plates - Two Men and a Truck refused any settlement. ALSO, pieces of our furniture were damaged: for example, our dining room table was gouged in several places and needs to be completely refinished, and Two Men and a Truck refused settlement because, as required, we signed the indemnity papers as the movers were leaving. Do NOT trust Two Men and a Truck.

He ghosts me and blocks me... confirmed by being able to call him from my wife's phone (without an answer). He plays games and talks about if you pay now you can get $250 off and claims multiple times that he is speaking with "the owner". There are no deals and there is no "owner" and these people aren't even a business.. look it up and you'll see.. he uses the address of Area Realty Brokers owned by a family member. He also has a long rap sheet.. again...look it up. I grew up with criminals and I know the game. I hope you're proud of yourself JUSTIN DAGER. You left my family of 6 in a terrible situation. When it took longer than it expected, they fired Alex and refused to pay him for his work. Fear not, I paid him. Then I discovered my brand new black lacquer coffee table hand been chipped. It also took me a full month to obtain a receipt from them. When asking for the receipt, they were non-responsive until I told them I couldn't find my Blu-ray DISC Player. Then they came to my apartment, ransacked through my opened boxes, and had to call Keith to find out where he packed it. It turns out, he packed it at the bottom of a red box marked Bedroom, which contained my nightstand lamp, desk lamp, and makeup drawers. My Blu-ray player didn't have any protection on it. I'm grateful it was found, but still not happy with the services I paid for. My clothes were tossed into industrial size garbage bags. No wardrobe boxes were used. When you pay a moving company over $1,000 dollars, you expect professional services, which this company did NOT provide.​
