Azam is phenomenal! She was able to fit me in, just two months before my wedding!! On top of that, she was so patient and truly took her time on my dress! My son tried on the pants and Azam marked and pinned them on Wednesday. The pants were done on Saturday and hemmed nicely. This business is at a house. $14 for each pair was fair. I am from out of town and was visiting a friend for the Labor Day weekend. I find this amazing maxi dress at the mall but it had a tear in the bottom. I got it discounted and was planning on hemming it up into a high-low dress anyways but did not know how to do that myself. I wanted to wear the dress to dinner the next day. I look for a tailor near me that is open on Sundays and believe me those are few and far between. I called one and they were out for the holiday weekend, I called another and they couldn't fit in a walk in, I call Azam and she said no problem come right in! She was exactly what I needed! Her home was easy to get to right off 77, very clean and welcoming. She has her whole downstairs dedicated to her business which includes a dressing room, sewing area, and fitting area. There was even a try-fold mirror with a step up to stand on while she pinned. Not only was she able to take me last minute on a Sunday holiday weekend, but she had my dress done early! She did a wonderful job, you'd never know my transformed high-low dress was a tattered maxi to begin with! The hems matched the original ones and it was top quality work. Her prices were very reasonable, especially for such a last minute job. Wonderful experience, very friendly, professional & knowledgable :) She even texted me when my dress was ready for pick up. Would highly recommend. She prefers cash but accepts checks as well and you do not have to pay until you pick up and like the work done. read more

Azam is truly the best!!!! I received my bridesmaid gown only three weeks prior to the wedding. She was able to alter the many layers to the dress as well as alter the bodice of the dress by letting it out a few inches all within a week. AND when I broke my foot the day before the wedding she asked me to come in with the dress to hem up the length because I could no longer wear the heels I wanted to wear. I gave her less than 1 week to complete multiple alterations on a bridesmaid dress and she completely NAILED IT. Not only did she make the dress fit me like a glove, she did it in less than 48 hours!!! I was absolutely blown away by her talent and her professionalism. When I asked her about opening a storefront, she told me she wants to, but has another part-time job to support her alteration business because it can be very seasonal. I had called around to several other places in the cities and they wouldn't even see the dress with short notice. I'm so happy I found Azam, she did a beautiful job. She's very courteous, seen me multiple times and was really flexible. My dress needed to be shorted, bustle added, and taken in (which was a challenge because there was no seam).
