I highly recommend Franco! I reached out to Franco for help installing a vent screen for our crawlspace to prevent rats/pests from getting in. He custom built a screen with oak frame and installed it securely and effectively. He added cement at the bottom to ensure no opening for pests to get through. Franco has a pleasant and enjoyable demeanor. He responded to inquiries promptly and arrived at appointment timely. His quoted price for the work was reasonable and competitive. I really can't say enough great things about Franco. He recently remodeled our master bath along with some other odds and ends and we are extremely happy with the quality of his work. Franco is so TALENTED and easy to work with. I wanted to remodel my hall bathroom but I was astounded at the quotes I was getting to do the labor from all the people I interviewed. Franco had the best price but I was nervous since my friends were telling me horror stories from the work they had done by others off of yelp. Additionally, when I asked to review Franco's contract he said he works with a handshake! That is something that I am not used to either! Never the less he did an AMAZING job and kept to the price quoted for the job. He did the job when he said he could which was 2 months out! He is a one man show except when he needed someone to help him lift a heavy vanity. I work from home. It was as if he was not there except for the demolition noise. He didn't bother me with questions unless I came out to look. He was on time every single day and cleaned up after himself daily. Franco is a craftsman. The tile he laid is impeccable. He added lights, outlets and built a walk-in shower where a ugly bath shower combo from 1980 used to be. Additionally, Franco is very professional and one heck of a nice man. He is my go-to man from here on out. I hope I don't regret writing this as he will be too busy to help me in the future!!! read more

Disappointed. Called Miguel. Said he would come over to check out a leaking hose bib in my front yard. He was a no show. No phone call or nothing. Sad. Also, same day. called an a/c guy to come & check out my unit. Showed up same day & was in & out in 1/2 hour. What a difference in customer service. :-( read more

Franco's a really nice guy and he takes a lot of pride in his work. We had a kitchen window that we needed removed, patched up and plastered as part of our kitchen remodel. He also painted our exterior and it all looked great when he was done. . We ended up hiring Franco a few weeks later to help us complete the remodel. Franco did some minor electrical work in our kitchen (set up 2 outlets in our kitchen island), added trim along our base cabinets (to hide the gaps) and did the tile work on our kitchen backsplash, He also reconnected our dishwasher and hooked up the plumbing on our new sink. Franco stayed until everything worked properly. We're definitely pleased with the work performed as it was completed time and within our budget..something you don't always get with handymen. The kitchen looks great, everything works and his prices were very reasonable. It was great to be able to use one person to handle all of our repairs. I really appreciated his communication/updates and his ability to stick to what was agreed upon. I'd definitely recommend him and would use him again. read more

Franco was awesome! We had some lights we tried to change out about 25 feet high and the extension pole pulled out one of the frames around the light then we were stuck with one broken in the socket and the other light hanging with the pole. Our house was going up for sale that day so I called numerous handy man numbers with some saying "too bad" and some saying they could get to it in a few weeks. Franco called me back and said he could run over to the house sometime this week. Well he did it within a few hours at a great price. I recommend him to anyone in an emergency situation!!! I've tried working with other Handymen/Contractors in the past few years on many of my families home projects and they were ok but Franco is the best. Franco recently did a lot of work for me over the last 3 months on a big renovation project at my mom's house that included kitchen demo, knocking down a wall, creating a pony wall for an island, drywall, door installation, canned lighting throughout the kitchen and living room, installing a flat screen tv with hidden wiring in the wall, installing a bathroom vanity, installing hardware and faucets and much more. He gave me great advise, suggestions and really listened to what we wanted. He never asked for a cent before anything was done and provided receipts for all material he provided. I felt very comfortable with him the and I especially liked how patient he was with my mom and how respectful he was to her too during the remodel. Those things mean a lot to me. Especially during a remodel which can get stressful if you're living in the home during the repairs. Sometimes he gets busy but he always manages to fit us in asap. I will echo all of the other 5 star rave reviews. Franco just tiled the backsplash at our house and did a beautiful job--he's a perfectionist. We had previously hired a handyman recommended by our realtor. He was back fixing things he broke while trying to fix other things (ugh). I later asked Franco about those issues and I ended up firing the other handyman and Franco fixed those issues too. While Franco was tiling, an electrical outlet blew at my dad's house that affected 4 rooms (including the room with the TV). Four electricians gave me time estimates from 1-2 weeks and the only one who would come out immediately gave a ridiculous quote ($350/hour starting from the time they left their office). I told Franco about it and he went right over. He popped in a new GFI outlet and that fixed the problem! He did not charge us for this additional work. There is no doubt we will use him again. Franco first in foremost is professional, trustworthy, dependable, hard-working, meticulous, extremely kind and respectful. He truly does it all (A To Z) and if you would like any changes due to preference, he will go the extra mile. We are remodeling key areas in our home to eventually rent out our home in San Elijo Hills. We were able to save so much money by choosing Franco rather than go with a company that provides a designer / general contractor for the project. Franco could do whatever we asked of him. He is busy because he IS everyone's handyman. That IS a great thing. He does his absolute best to help with projects when you would like them done. He however does it all so he will schedule certain aspects of the project on various days. Again, this is a POSITIVE thing as he wants to do it right and give you the time to do the project right to make his customer happy. His goal is customer satisfaction. He had to go back and forth to various stores (Home Depot, Bedrosians) for us because we did not have everything for the project. He was happy to go and help us in any way. Franco is truly wonderful. We actually have adopted him into our family and are currently looking for more projects so we can continue to see Franco on a regular basis. When we eventually rent our home, Franco will be the handyman we choose to continue to take care of our home and our future tenants.
