We felt like we were not able to diy this job and Nick and Max had a reasonable price for the work and didn't make us feel bad that it was above our skills. Nick communicated with us through text and kept us informed during the whole time he was scheduling and working on the job. They were tidy during the work and respectful of our kitchen tile. Nick even offered to take our old disposal and dispose of it. They left our kitchen very clean after their work. Nick said if our disposal leaked to contact him and they would come back and fix the leak as part of the job. It did leak and they came back the very next day, added some stuff they picked up on their way to our house and took the whole thing out and reinstalled. It has not leaked since they were last here. We were very impressed with their expertise and customer service and are going to have them do some more jobs at our vintage home. It has been challenging for us to find reliable and reasonable handyman services and are grateful for Sam's Handyman Services with Nick and Max.

I called him several times and attempted to schedule a follow-up to complete the work, but he could not find a date that worked for him. He stated he had other jobs to do. I am very disappointed that Joe did not compete the job or follow up with an attempt to complete it. I finally got tired of calling him to schedule. The work that was completed is substandard and I am left with the problem of getting the job done another way.

Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. Dated builder-grade hall bath and powder room each needed a total gut. Christopher to the rescue! From demo through finish, he explained the process, guided our selections and completed all the work skillfully, sticking to our agreed upon timeframe. He installed sinks, toilets, and tub, along with faucets, vanities, glass shower doors and floor and wall tiles. He even changed light fixtures and floor trim moldings. We hired Evan to handle the drywall replacement and painting, and he recommended the remediation company and coordinated with them while that was happening. In addition, we asked for help organizing the garage--something I'd been meaning to do for years. He built custom shelving for a tricky corner, installed prebuilt shelves, and added wall organizers to finally make the space functional. Evan was prompt, professional, and friendly throughout. After he replaced the 2 outlets, NONE of the outlets on that same circuit worked, including the 2 new ones. I called him back to fix it. He came out but could not fix it and told me the issue was dirt in the other outlets. I ended up having to hire a licensed electrician to come out and fix it. The electrician fixed the while wire inside the GFCI outlet. I asked Heavenly Handyman to reimburse me for the cost to correct the electrical work. He refused.I cannot recommend for any electrical work. The small handyman jobs were done, but the electrical issue and refusal to take responsibility was very disappointing.

The second was to mount a large flat screen TV on an existing, dated TV cabinet. He designed it first and with approval, built a fine TV mount on new board over the old TV cabinet, taking care to hide all wires and speakers. The last item was (I think) the most difficult, as we wanted to match a handrail on an opposite side wall of the existing handrail in our older house for better stair safety. The handrail profile was very difficult to find, but he persisted and knew that only a matching profile would look nice. He finally found it, and described to me the many decisions he made to have it match the other side (angle, where it started and stopped, how far away from the wall, etc). I had no idea about how painstaking it was, but I can tell you that it looks like it had always been there and I so appreciate what a perfectionist he is. Steve is pleasant to work with and a good communicator. We will use him again, and I highly recommend him. Thanks Steve!
