We did our research and thought Tadlock roofing would do a good job, we also upgraded the roof…read moreshingles and we paid 3,000 extra for a new chimney siding to be redone to follow manufacturer warranty guidelines, but we are very disappointed. Essentially this roof install voided my Owens Coring warranty and exposed water on my back patio ceilings and it collapsed and they exposed water to my attic floor which will eventually collapse. They refuse to fix these. On April 6th and 7th of 2022, Tadlock Roofing installed our roof during seasonal rain and showers in Gainesville. Tadlock roofers failed to cover exposed decking, exposed chimney rafters, insulation, felt paper, framing/lumber and back patio ceiling. Tadlock did not follow Owen's Coring manufacturer guidelines when installing a roof during inclement weather, and per Owens Coring, this voids our warranty and they refuse to fix. Two months after they installed my roof, my back patio ceiling fell and we noticed they allowed rain to fall on the attic flooring and Tadlock Roofing will not fix any damages.

Dissatisfied 80 Year Old Veteran The first of three…read morecontracts to fix a roof leak was 2-24-21. I spent $3,588.00 total. The first contract was to install new wood, shingles and reinstall a skylight. That work created an additional leak which was patched but didn't fix the original leak. The second contract was a new spark arrestor which didn't fix the leak. The third contract was chimney stucco repair and paint chimney but that didn't fix the leak. After the chimney repair I was told there was a small hole in the AC duct above where it's leaking. I paid an AC repairman $148.99 to tell me it had nothing to do with the leak. There were numerous return visits for water tests, roofing cement, etc. They were unreliable. There was a least a dozen missed appointments - no show, no text and no phone call. Text messages weren't answered. I was told to call when it was leaking so someone could identify the specific location of the leak but when I received a call back hours later I was told they can't "just" send someone out when I call contradicting what I was told to do. In the last text 11-3-25 I was told I had to replace the reinstalled skylight without another water test. I wasn't told in 2021 the skylight should be replaced when I signed the first contract. Replacing the skylight may be another guess like the chimney work, AC duct and spark arrestor. On 11-3-25 I asked for an estimate for a new skylight and installation then received text "OK" but never received an estimate. As of the date of this posting, 2-2-26, the roof is leaking in the same spot on the ceiling in 2021. I don't recommend Stonebridge for any roofing work, stucco painting or stucco repair. I felt disrespected for five years and don't recommend Stonebridge to senior citizens.

I wish that the situation had been different. In general, there have been numerous issues that are not part of the standard construction process. It is difficult to determine whether the HOA, A&E firm, or Stonebridge are the source of the problem, or if all three are involved. Regrettably, I received five unresponsive emails from StoneBridge, which is why the rating is low. Had I received feedback and the support that was promised, I would have rated it higher, as I am not entirely certain that all of the issues are solely due to Stonebridge.

What swayed me in the end was the fact that 4-5 neighbors up the street had all used them and couldn't say enough good things about how happy they were and how well the projects went. It took a little longer than expected to get our roof but it was due to weather delays. Once they got started it took two full days (no working on Sunday). They actually finished as it was starting to rain again. The roof looks great. In fact my immediate neighbor just used them and are just as pleased. However, there was an issue regarding our chimney…read moreand the roof damage in that area, which our insurance co. threatened to cancel our policy over, if it wasn't repaired in a certain amount of time. The rep from Poe that handled our case kept saying that he was trying to get the insurance co. to cover the chimney work also. I told him that, in order to not get our policy cancelled, we were perfectly willing to pay them to just go ahead and fix it. At that same time, I also asked him to give me an estimate for replacing the siding on our house too...so they could have made a LOT more money from us if he had just ACTED on what I was requesting. But he just kept saying the same thing every time I called, and eventually he stopped returning my calls and texts, and I haven't heard from him since. I ended up having to hire another company to take care of the repair, in order to not have our insurance policy cancelled, and they also got the job of replacing the siding, and painting the whole house. And I STILL have not heard a word from Poe, or received the estimate I requested. Bottom line: They can do a good roof job, but once they have their money, they don't have the time of day for you. So if you decide to go with Poe construction, 'Good luck'.
