I received the confirmation that the delivery would be made the same day. It never arrived. I sent an email that eveing, with no reply. So, I called the next morning. Laura answered, she is very nice. She said the driver's log had not come in from the day before and would get back to me. Two hours later I decided to call back, Laura answered and said she hadn't heard back from their driver ;(. Guess the order wasn't 'received' but 'found' the order and says the delivery will be made 'today.' Hopefully the item will be a nice one. My suggestion is if you order through FTD and use this florist, call them to confirm the order was received. With the delivery being made 'the day after', it kinda killed the moment...

I've literally been treated more warmly by the police giving me a traffic citation. Each time I've been here (a total of 3 times) i have been addressed not with indifference, but scathing condescension and disdain by both (I'm assuming Nina herself) and her aunt. Forget being treated professionally--being treated with NEUTRALITY is wildly aspirational here. It is the type of contempt typically reserved for tax collectors and dinner party guests carrying active tuberculosis. I stopped by in person to inquire about ordering flowers for Mother's Day about 10 days in advance, just to ask some basic questions. After demonstrating the audacity to inquire about baskets and differences between tiers, I was met with audible sighs and eye rolls that escalated into beratement of my ignorance. The level of unprompted venom was astonishing! Despite my unforgivable transgression of inquiring about the basket diameter of the "Country Blooms" arrangement, I hung my head and meekly submitted my order. I called a couple days later to change the time of my pickup and was immediately screamed at, with the level of hostility normally demonstrated during international war: (verbatim) "do you KNOW how many customers we have? We have HUNDREDS! You're just going to have to wait in the pickup line!" I was completely stunned by this. Okay, congrats. Nina did not consider the radical alternative of asking my last name to clarify my order. This defies reason. It genuinely feels like Nina's Flowers is trying to repel new customers. Unless you enjoy being chastised like a cowering servant in a Brontë novel, I highly recommend you spare your dignity (and money) and go literally anywhere else. EDIT: Angel's Flowers in Newark is selling the same products on their website for like half the price.

I wasn't expecting the flowers to be delivered until later in the day. To my surprise, it arrived at my friends house BEFORE noon!!! Mind you, I ordered on a weekend day as well. The only thing I was wary of was I didn't receive an order confirmation nor did I receive a notification that it got delivered. I only found out it was delivered because my friend had reached out and thanked me for it. (Note that it is a small family owned business and this was my first time making this type of order. This WONDERFUL place has a HUGE assortment of pottery in so many colors, shapes, and sizes. I gotta add that our yards are beautiful thanks to being able to shop there. We get so many compliments from our neighbors and friends about the matching colors and sizes of the planted pottery in our backyard and front yard. I highly recommend you go and look around at the Plant and Pottery Outlet! You won't be disappointed, even my Honeyman enjoys going there, seriously. Also, we are older seniors, so we appreciate them loading our purchases in our SUV. And, when we buy HUGE pieces of pottery, we ask them about a delivery man that delivers. The guy delivery guy doesn't work for them, but they call him if you ask; and he's delivered to our home for a fee about four times through the years, which was well worth his price. I received the best service. Their team answered all of my questions and were patient when I was undecisive about which bougainvillea tree to pick (they were all so good!) I requested a fuller olive tree which they sourced from one of their other locations and it arrived in less than 2 days! I didn't have a vehicle to transport all of my beautiful trees in, and Western Star accommodated the delivery. I never had to fret about it....... When the delivery arrived, the driver was so helpful! All in all, the company was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend! Now on the hunt for the perfect vessel to house these beauties in!
