It was nostalgic to be walk back inside ATNY and especially to see "The Face of A Total New You"- Joanna, as she welcomed me back with a tight hug. I met Meghan, when she was first starting her career as a hair dresser. I must say how proud I am to be back on Meghan's chair! Not only did she give me the beautiful copper red that other hairdressers near me said it could not be done, it is perfect for my skin type and for the Fall. Veronica was absolutely amazing! I went in for a facial in hopes it would help my acne. She pampered me and my skin so much. I struggled to stay awake as it was so relaxing. I came into this salon for a facial with Nadia and expressed my skin concerns. Nadia provided me a facial designed to hydrate and minimize aging signs on my skin, including the light therapy. Her movement was soft and smooth, while good pressure was used during my facial massage. The light therapy took 30 minutes which was perfect for my nap time, haha! I really enjoy my facial and felt so relaxed that I wish not to leave just yet! After my facial, Nadia thoroughly explains what she used to help my skin and which products would be best for me to use at home. She is aware that I'm deaf, so she immediately thought of ways to communicate with me at both face-to-face and during my facial. She has already thought of telling me what she'll do during my facials and will tap on my shoulder once or twice to let me know when the light will change during the light therapy process so I won't get surprised or jump during the light changing colors or flashing. I very much appreciated her thoughtfulness! The treatment room is clean, cozy and comfortable. The bed has a warming blanket and comfy linens, I could fall asleep right away. The staff at the front desk was friendly and attentive to help, which I appreciate as well. I plan to come back for my facials and will try other services at this salon as well. read more

VERY Poor customer service but good result. I had to wait for stylist to get to work first of all. Then I told her I wanted red hair color. Stylist kept showing me brown which is exactly what I had. I had to get up and show her red. I had to talk her into doing red! Then she walked away to "check something" Came back with a paper to sign stating I am asking for a bold color. They the stylist said she won't blow dry or STYLE my hair!!! stating she has another client. (maybe she should get to work on time) I had to go home and finish HER JOB myself!!! I usually tip good but Heather did not get a tip that day. After I blow dried my hair, I love the color and cut it is just what I wanted just wish I didn't have to fight to get it. I am totally one of those people that uses yelp to scope places out but never write reviews. But, I had such a good experience with Maddy at A Total New You that I had to make it my first one! She did a color correction for me and I am obsessed. She got me back to my favorite blonde and I'm finally feeling myself again! She walked me through the whole process which I loved, helped me to understand the process. She was also very conscious of my time. I have an 11 month old baby at home who does not appreciate mom leaving for extended periods of time. I was at the salon for only 2.5 hours, I am used to my hair taking about 4-5(I have a lot of hair). She took all the measures to protect the health of my hair, it doesn't have that just bleached crunchy feel at all, it feels softer than when I walked in! Finding a blonde specialist that you trust can be scary and I am so glad I found Maddy! I also have to shout out Joanna who helped me get in at a time and day that worked for my schedule, she was extremely accommodating and helpful! read more

This review is for the pedicure services only. I had one of the sloppiest, weakest, and most expensive pedicures I've ever had here. They pulled a hairstylist to do my toes-- a bad sign for sure, as this person told me he had limited experience with pedicures. I had been waiting in the chair with my feet in the water for 20 minutes when he arrived. I didn't realize he was a hairstylist until after the pedicure started and it was too late. He was very nice-- no issues there-- but he barely touched or rubbed my feet, didn't trim my toenails or work on my cuticles, and barely went over the rough patches on my feet. I was here with a friend who also had her toes done. My pedicure took half the time of hers. This guy's pedicure technique felt like baby fingers touching my feet with a little lotion here and there. Uck. The worst part was the polish. The stylist turned pedicurist did such a bad job (globby, polish on my skin, uneven coats) that he apologized and had another manicurist (the one who spent a meticulous amount of time with my friend) come over to take off some of the polish on my big toes and re-do it. Her work was better, but all the talk about the after-hours drinks the salon staff were going to have on a Saturday evening communicated to me (and showed on my toes) that she was in a rush. The worst part of all of this was the $53 price tag. Wow. I will NOT be back here and would not recommend a pedicure with a hair stylist. To the manager of A Total New You-- please, please be more careful about who you allow to provide pedicures! read more

The price range listed on this is not accurate, in my humble opinion. This place is definitely pricey, not moderate. There is no way I'd pay their prices on pedicures when I can go around the corner for less than half, same goes for my son's simple buzz cut. I was also told my daughter's ethnic hair braiding would have been 3 times what it normally costs me and done by someone who obviously didn't have much experience with it. If you don't know how or don't want to do it, then just say so. I've had good experiences with waxing here and on that kind of service I will not skimp. But the hair color, cuts, styling and make-up services are nothing to write home about, mediocre at best. I wanted a romantic looking up-do for a formal event and came out with every strand of hair plastered to my head, total helmet do. And the make-up I could have done myself. Absolutely loved this salon. I have moved to the Springs area with my fiancé from Denver at the end of March. Since then I have tried several different salons in the area. None of them were that great. Came here hoping it would finally be my go-to salon. This was it!! Everything I was looking for. Called on a day they were closed, left a message and got a call back first thing the next morning. Went in and met with Phyllis for my shellac buff and polish mani and she was so nice. They had that olive color I was looking. Which was exciting! Phyllis was super easy to talk to and she was fast. Which I loved as I am a in and out kind of gal. Next I met with Brittany for my buff and polish pedicure. She was also very nice and did a great job. She also does hair so I talked to her about what I had been wanting to do with my hair. Looking forward to going back and seeing her for that! All in all this place is the BEST salon in the area! Definitely recommend coming here! read more

Don't waste your time or money on this place! I had a horrible experience here just before my wedding! I'd scheduled an appointment for color 10 days before my wedding, & my wedding up-do for the morning of my nuptials. I get a call two weeks before my wedding informing me that my color would have to be pushed up to 5 days before my wedding. Not great, but with all the other wedding prep, I didn't have time to find someone else. I arrive at the salon the day of my color appointment, for which I had specifically requested the most experienced colorist. I explain to the colorist that I want Copper, but don't want to look like, say, Bozo the Clown, and further explain that I will be wearing a frosty Pink wedding dress. She looks slightly confused & brings me two hair swatches, one Blonde, one Red, and asked me if they "look OK". I had never before, and have never since, encountered this obscenely low level of professionalism/knowledge. I said I didn't know how those two swatches together would look on my hair, and again explained, in detail, exactly what I wanted. I still wonder, to this day, why they had assigned her my appointment. She went ahead with the color, & it was far too dark, Burgundy with Blonde undertones. I was very polite, and explained that the result was not what I'd asked for. While I did not pay for the color (I tried to, but they kept refusing payment), I would have much preferred to have had a truly knowledgeable and experienced colorist and to have walked out with what I asked for. The real kicker is that I got married on Sunday afternoon, & received a call that Friday after 5pm informing me that the establishment would not be able to do my hair for my wedding! I had to scramble to find someone else two days before my wedding! If I could give this place less that a star, I would! read more

Super friendly staff! They take good care of me everytime I am in. I love the people so much that I hate to mention the down sides.... but, the lighting for certain procedures could be better and the pedicure chairs were needing to be repaired when I went in. Other than that, they bend over backwards to take care of you. Honestly, I have never told them these two things I found wrong(so I need to). I just got my hair cut by Megan and she did a HORRIBLE job! She was not friendly at all and she cut my bangs WAY too short! I was supposed to be having maternity photos taken this weekend and have now had to cancel them because my bangs are so short that I don't even want to go out in public! She barely said two words to me the whole time I was their and obviously wasn't paying attention when I told her what I wanted. About a year and a half ago, I got a horrible "12 dollar" haircut that was disastrous. I went to ATNY, and Chad was my stylist. I balked at the price tag (I was used to a $12 haircut, remember?) but I told him if he could fix it, I would never go to another stylist. I haven't gone to anyone but Chad since. In 2012, my husband gave me a gift certificate for a Day at the Spa. It was a Valentines Day package. It included a massage, pedicure, and manicure. He also added the tip. The environment was not the happiest. The employees there were not really friendly and I just got the feeling that the employees were not happy there. The person that did my manicure vented about how the previous employee had used her space and not return items. This was supposed to be relaxing. The actual service was good. Just the atmosphere was tense there. I made the mistake of not telling my husband. He got me another gift certificate for Mother's Day. I thought maybe this experience would be better. Maybe just a bad day there. It was for $100. So, I picked a spa pedicure. The receptionist was very nice, upbeat and friendly. She was very stylish. The pedicure service was great. But, again I got the feeling the employee was not happy working there. She was friendly enough. Just something was not right. Just like last time. After the tip $20.00 and the pedicure $60 plus I had $18 left. I did not want to go back there and asked if I could just get the cash back. They did not allow this. I told the manager my feelings about this place. She stated that the employees had been there two years. I do not feel that is a long time, but she seemed to be bragging about it. I told her I would not be back and to give the $18 to the person that gave me the pedicure as an additional tip total $38. I would advise anyone to go to VEDA instead. I get my hair styled there and the atmosphere is GREAT!. I told my husband please no more A Total New You for me. read more
