My husband paid extra for a deep tissue massage because that is specifically what I prefer. I used to be a massage therapist myself before becoming a stay-at-home mom, so I understand there are different styles and pressure preferences, but this did not feel like deep tissue whatsoever. The pressure stayed extremely light for the entire session and honestly felt more like a light Swedish relaxation massage. What made it more frustrating was that the therapist never once checked in about pressure or comfort throughout the session, which would have given me the opportunity to ask for deeper work. He showed me a picture of some highlights, and at the end of the appointment, he said he just did a partial highlight (which is not what I had asked for), I couldn't see the highlights at all because they were too close to my hair color, and my hair looked like a triangle. I was so upset, but I gave it a week to see if I could style it myself. It was horrendous. I called the salon, and the owner said she would refund me or let David fix it. I would not have, but she said she was going to be at the appointment to see what happened, so I went in again. When I went in, the owner was either not there, or never talked to me at all. David fixed the haircut, but when I told him I had wanted the full highlights I booked, he denied that I had booked a full set. I have a confirmation email, so nice try. I would have been happy to pay the difference to get what I wanted, but I was so fed up I just left. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I'm going to have to find another place and pay twice now to get what I asked for. 2 stars for at least fixing the haircut.

The facial was high quality and she didn't give me the same facial as might fit everyone. She customized it for my skin and needs and explained the whole process to me. The massage was great and I didn't have to give direction on pressure because she was perfect and knew what I wanted. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. The mani and pedi were great and the lady was very nice who did my nails. She didn't get rid of my callouses because she knew I needed them for running. Very thoughtful and considerate.
