One of my favorite stores . Great pottery, crafts, and collectible glass. Not a discount store but rather a gallery.

This was a great find in downtown Williamsburg. We went there because they were open a little later…read morethan most specialty shops (7 PM) and they featured some very interesting and artistic decorative pottery and ceramic pieces. However, what really stole the show were the treats. The Turkish Coffee was superb. It was authentically made via the sand method. I got the Ottoman which had milk added with touches of cinnamon and cardamom. It was a wonderfully flavorful concoction. We also got Turkish Delight and Baklava to take away. The Delight lived up to its name, especially the chocolate brownie variety. It was an exceedingly delicious treat. The baklava were also terrific as they were loaded with honey. To top things off, the proprietor was one of the nicest and most engaging people you'd ever want to meet. He is originally from Istanbul. I enjoyed my conversation with him since that is a city which I highlight amongst the ones I have been privileged to visit. It was a lovely visit to this delightful shop and we hope to return in the future when the chance arises.

Recently, I ordered framing for some family photos I had done. The framing department was so…read morehelpful! The lady at the counter. She helped me pick the best frame colors for each photo we had. They were having a mega framing sale, so I jumped on it! The project took 2-weeks to complete and when I got the pieces back, I was beyond thrilled! This store is always so helpful and organized. It's the closest thing to a party store in town also. I love when they have sales on their seasonal items.

This is the (current) manager. This is the product I was in search of (snow-tex). When asked…read morewhere it was (because it wasn't in aisle 81 as the website states), he decided to be confrontational with a *very* snarky "sir, I'm trying to help you", **AFTER** he stated they didn't have any if it wasn't in that aisle. The website shows 15 in stock. That aisle has been partitioned for Christmas ware so it was moved to make room for seasonal items. It was indeed moved. I found the item, all 15 of them, doing his job for him. 1). Do not become confrontational with a customer. 2). Let a customer finish speaking. 3). Don't be snarky with a customer. 4). Do your j-o-b. It's simple, especially when there less people in your store than bottles of snow-Tex on a shelf IN AISLE FIFTY SEVEN. Maybe he'll know where when if he bothers to read Yelp reviews about his own store to help improve customer service. Not my job to tell him. And 5). ? Some advice: You're there to help the customer. We make YOUR job happen. Retail isn't for everyone, but there are jobs where you can be far in the back of a warehouse and don't have to deal with the public. Just a thought.
