This led to a massive yeast infection on her back, buttocks thighs, genitals. This also contributed to a UTI that was only treated with certain antibiotics. When she was discharged from hospital to The Laurels her insulin was mistakenly discontinued. When we reported this we were brushed aside and ignored. She'd been a diabetic for over 30 years and followed closely at the hospital. After 2 1/2 weeks, her blood sugar was 520, she was confused, weak, disoriented, but that morning they got her dressed for a doctor's appointment without noticing any of this.

My mother was cursed with having Covid and ending up in the hospital, but incredibly blessed with the staff and the care James River Home Health provided! Steve, Kelsey, Sarah, Jane, and our amazing nurse, Danelle were patient, caring, professional, flexible, and so well informed! I truly have nothing negative to say...the scheduling requires a little flexibility, however, they're so flexible there's never a problem!
