I've purchased 2 dresses from here and have been quite pleased with my purchases and with the customer service. Each time I have visited the store I was treated well and made to feel important for my special day. I was very impressed with the log they keep of dresses purchased for all the different local functions. It really helped avert a complete crisis when someone had already purchased a dress I was interested in for the same function. It felt like a lot of people recommended this store on Facebook so I had high expectations when I went in. Instead, I was ignored by the employees as I walked around the store. One lady finally walked up after I started browsing. The slow customer service made me really uncomfortable. She showed me to a stall after I had my arms full of dresses but that was it. She didn't explain that we could try on shoes or accessories or anything from the array inside the dressing room. Afterwards, she did go around and find me dresses in different colors and sizes, which was nice. However, that is totally expected of such an expensive dress shop, isn't it? There were some beautiful dresses but the prices were a bit much. All in all, not too bad but not as great as I thought. read more

I was extremely disappointed in this store. While the prices were good, and the selection nice I walked out within 5 minutes. Not once were me or my friend greeted. Several working women were there and we were flat out ignored. I do not know if it's becuase we had our small children with us our not. I would have loved to stay and browse, but we immediately left. Worse customer service ever. Just plain RUDE. A lot of their dresses were garish and high schoolish. Had I not felt so put out i would have dug through to possibly find a treasure. This little dress shop is beautiful the customer service was excellent and it has a great down home feel. I bought a beautiful dress for a military ball, however, I am extremely unhappy with how my alterations came out. I was told that my seams would be pressed out so I didn't bother checking the dress before tonight which is the night of the event. Not only are the seams "ugly" but the fit around my hips is horrible. And the front of the dress is wrinkled. I am very disappointed but I will not let this ruin my night. I wanted to come on here and thank you again. I just got my pictures back from the photographer and they were absolutely gorgeous. Kathy dressed me from head to toe. The shoes and the dress were absolutely breathtaking. I got so many compliments. The customer service was outstanding, I felt like family. Kathy went out of her way to take care of me. She allowed me to make changes, she eased my anxiety and made this process stress free. We even shed a few tears together. She was all I had, all of my family was 6 hours away, but she gave me that mothers touch and I will never forget that. read more

The dresses vary in prices, they are some good ones, some ones that make you think who in the world would wear such a hot mess but that's everywhere you go and everyone has different tastes...however...service was a Disgrace...A Touch of Disgrace, everything that Robin D commented is 100% accurate I do not recommend this place for your average person, you have to be above average to them, you have to look like money, smell like money and spend a lot of money. read more

I was at this store one time. The first and last time. They have nice dress and selection, but I was never greeted by any of the sales associates. When I tried to "hunt" one down, because I wanted to ask them a question, the woman was more occupied doing something else then pay attention to me (a paying customer). I found a dress that I was wanted to try on in my size. She just took the dress which was 4 sizes to big and shoved me into a dressing room. Very disappointing...drove from Canada to find a formal dress. I missed the big sale by 1day and the owner refused to give me the deal from the weekend even though I explained we travelled to go to her store and my day wasn't till Mon and I was told the sale was still on. I have travelled to destiny mall before and anytime I have mentioned I drove from Canada I was always offered a sale that just either ended or if one was about to start. read more

Horrible! Went here to find bridesmaids dresses for a our wedding. She told me and my fiance since we are en we need to go sit in the back. WE ARE THE GROOMS! Big deal if we are gay get over it it is the 21st century. The store is so small. Trying to get into a dressing room was awful. They never took all of our dresses to the back. They made remarks that were rude and made our wedding party feel dumb. Treated us as if we were unaware of anything to do with the wedding world. We were there for a total of 25 minutes then left because of how uncomfortable she made us feel. We were not the only ones who complained our entire wedding party was made to feel uncomfortable. We decided to leave. She made a ditch effort to try to save us with $20 off. We made the trip to Syracuse to the actual Alfred Angelo salon. Received the best treatment you could imagine. Had an amazing time. They were so nice. There price was the same as hers with the $20 off. Trust me travel the extra way to go to Syracuse. You will not regret it. I will never shop here again nor would I recommend this bridal shop to anyone! We had an "appointment" however, the owner was the only one working and barely helped us. My mother helped me in and out of the few wedding dresses I tried on. The lady was all over the place. A lot of the wedding dresses they carry are cheaply made which is why they are "inexpensive". It looks like there are tons of dresses when you walk in, but there are mostly duplicates of each dress in different sizes. My mother knew more about the fabrics and alterations than the owner did....I'll travel to find my dress. read more

After I found a dress I was told that I could not purchase the item. I was told that because someone else had purchased a similar dress and was going to an event (though she could not tell me where) I could not have it, even though I was trying to get a dress for another event. The owner was very rude. I have never been treated this way, nor had my friends ever witnessed such behavior in a salesperson. read more

The service at this store absolutely sucked!!! I had went into the store for my first time today looking for a short simple dress for winter ball but I also ended up trying on dresses for prom. As I was looking around no employees had came up to me and asked me what I was looking for and or helped me out. Which is strange because working at a dress shop you would think that would be expected. FINALLY, someone came over and helped me out but instead of measuring me to see what size I was (because I had no clue) I just received snobby questions. I had started to try on dresses and instead of trying the ones that my mom had picked out a lady had came over and said that she didn't THINK I would fit in any of those and took them all away. So I didn't get to try them on. And in the end those dresses were the right size and the dresses the lady had picked out were far too big. I am pretty sure the manager was the one helping me out. She was very rude and treated my mom and I as if we were dumb. She had helped me a little bit at the beginning but towards the end she was no where's to be seen. I bought a short simple dress for winter ball from there only because it was my last resort. I was looking at prom dresses also but with the service I received I will not be getting a prom dress there or EVER going back. Went to Touch of Grace to find a dress for my 22 year old daughter this past weekend as she has been invited to a military ball. Kathy, the owner, immediately focused on bringing certain types of dresses into the dressing room and did not listen to my daughter's input. Kathy was so interested in making a sale that she even said to my daughter, "The dress would look better on top if you lost 5 lbs. You could lose 5 lbs. by eating nothing but apples and drinking water for a week." Kathy made this rude comment in the dressing room with strangers all around. My daughter was soooo embarrassed, as was I. I immediately tapped Kathy on the shoulder very hard and said, "My daughter does not need to lose weight just to fit in your $400 dress. We are not interested in the dress."Kathy knew she touched a nerve. My daughter lost enthusiasm and we left without purchasing a dress from A Touch of Grace. We went to Bella Bridal and bought a beautiful dress and had wonderful customer service. I feel that Kathy should never tell an impressionable young lady that she needs to lose weight. read more
