Website wasn't working so Emma directed me to go to Telaflora to find a selection and call her back. I was ordering flowers for my husband's funeral to go around his picture and urn. I was assured that that the flowers would be delivered in time for the funeral. They were not there when we arrived at the church- called grays and was assured they were on their way. We proceeded with mass without them. Apparently, they were delivered during mass and left on the floor in the lobby. Grays would not refund and the the owner refused to call me back. Having grown up in the area I have used Gray's Flower Shop many times over the years to deliver to my friends and family that still live locally. Never before have I been disappointed, but I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the wreath that was delivered for my Mom's burial (for $176!). I asked for a silk arrangement, assuming it would be full and abundant at this price, but what was received couldn't have cost $30 to make. A true disappointment and what should be an embarrassment to Gray's. read more

Possibly the worst experience I've ever had with greys. I simply wanted to surprise my mom with flowers for Valentine's Day so I put my order in online and call them to make sure they got the order. 1. The lady on the phone was rude and told me they won't go back out to deliver to my moms house until tomorrow fine what ever. 2. My mom gets home from work seeing a note saying sorry we missed you. So right there it's no longer a surprise. I didn't receive one phone call until today saying they couldn't deliver it yesterday. No kidding. If they would have called me I would have sent them to where my mom was. 3. Apparently no one there knows how to spell or use punctuation because the card was all messed up. I recently ordered a dozen roses to be delivered to my wife for our 2nd Anniversary. She is temporarily working in NY, so I wasn't familiar with the florists here. I placed my order online with some instructions requesting a particular style of vase. I received a call from Jane, who was very pleasant. She described a vase which she thought would be very nice with the arrangement. The order was delivered as scheduled and, needless to say, my wife was thrilled. Not only with the roses, which were beautiful, but she was quite pleased with the vase they were presented in. I am extremely satisfied with Gray's and would highly recommend them. read more

Our son and his fiancé decided to get married while visiting us here during the holidays. Since it was a last minute decision his fiancé didn't have a bouquet. We stopped here on our way to city hall for the ceremony. We asked if they can put a bouquet together for her in the spot. And they did! They were very accomodating and did a fantastic job. Our family has used Grays for years however the quality and creativity of their products has faltered greatly. A close family member passed last year , as usual we used Grays services. They could not accomodate a special request and actually did not appear interested in even trying. We did order over $300. worth of arrangements to which we were not totally pleased . My sister went to Sherwood Florist and not only did they accomodate a special request they were extremely pleasant and empathetic. We also found courtesy lacking at Grays. There were no suggestions for another option and as we were told, arrangenments could only be chosen from their catalog. Too bad they have failed so greatly. This consumer will now use Sherwood Florist. read more
