I'm a native of Huntsville and we don't have a lot of wing places. When I saw A Town Wings I was skeptical of first because I tried A-Town Wings in ATL and I didn't like it. My friends were telling me that A-Town Wings in Huntsville was good so I decided to give it a try. Because of Covid they currently don't have any sitting inside and they had a clear curtain to protect the workers and consumers so you have to speak into a speaker box. What they didn't tell us was that you need to order inside the restaurant and take your ticket. Then go to the drive thru to pick up your food. A little unconventional but oh well. I ordered the honey lemon pepper wings with Cajun ranch fries. The wings were ok I should have gotten honey gold. The honey gold was really good. They have a lot of flavors to choose from so you can't go wrong. The Cajun ranch fries were very good. I highly recommend adding them to your meal. I took my family here for the first time this past Saturday. Our ticket printed at 1 pm. As it started getting closer to 1:30 we noticed other guests placing their orders and getting their food before us. My wife went to the counter and asked about the order and they mentioned the computer they didn't relay the information to the back. We had to waiting an additional 10 minutes I went to the counter and asked for a refund. They said my food is ready but I wanted to be compensated for the inconvenience. Peter, the manager or own came to the front. I explained what is the appropriate solution for the inconvenience. Peter said "I'm sorry, it's the computer's fault." Peter then looked at my receipt and said, "it's only been 30 minutes, I didn't wait too long." I explained to him the other customers who came in after us received their orders before us. Peter said "I'm sorry." I requested a refund again. Peter became frustrated and said I'll give your money back. He gave me a refund receipt and as I was walking out of the door I heard him saying in frustration "it's the computer's fault." I can tell Peter is accustomed with dealing with a certain demographic in a certain way. He wasn't interested in finding other ways to make his customer happy. I was very happy with the flavor of the the half hot-lemon pepper and the crispiness of the wings. What I did not like was the teriyaki sauce. It's been over a year since I've eaten here and today I remember why. I order two steak and cheese Philly steaks with no mushroom and 1 10 piece wet lemon pepper wings, and 2 chicken tenders. It came out to be 32.39. The steak and cheese was bland, no season, just greasy. They didn't cook the chopped steak and then steam melt the cheese into the meat. There was an imprint of two thin slices of cheese on top of the meat in the bun, Never had a Philly where the cheese wasn't blended with the meat, so you have a meat cheese ratio with every bite. I added steak sauce and even that didn't help it. The bottom of the Philly was so greasy the bread split and the meat spilled out. I spent nearly 4.00 on two chicken tenders that were the widih of my thumb and the length of my middle finger, how appropriate. I suppose I was supposed to ask for one of the seasonings to put on the tenders because it tastes bland as well, but the taste didn't matter, after all, the chicken fingers were dry and chewy. The lemon pepper winges seasoning was good but the wings were overcooked so they were tough it was like eating the skin on bone..
