Had to have a second company come and help because they flat out refused to help with landscaping, saying "that's not my job" and "that's not my department". It's a landscaping company but they turned it into a super mediocre construction job, which is not what I was going for at all. I would definitely go with a different company, Dala Casa was extremely helpful and came out to fix all the stuff they didn't do. They also promised "color and height and asymmetrical landscaping", then planted 9 white flowering plants in a row in front of my house, removing all the color and leaving it looking boring and dull. It's a brand new home and really bummed me out. Add the fact that the design fee was $1000 and I don't really know what I paid for. Requested berry bushes and fruit trees, but that was forgotten. Justin "knew a guy" for all the requests and projects, but none of them ever materialized. Then, his assistant promised she'd be "boots on the ground all week making sure things get done" after I contacted them about how unsatisfactory the job had been and she never even bothered to show up. Really disrespectful for a such a large contract. John who assisted with my porch/stairs was very helpful, but the company they contracted with for the stair fabrication was super mediocre with poor finishes and a confusing layout

First I had a difficult time communicating with them. It took me multiple times reaching out to…read morethem to confirm what day they were coming. One of the days they were scheduled to come I had to text them the day before to check because it had rained and I didn't get a response back til 8am the morning of the appointment saying it had been rained out from the day prior. After we finally got a date, I didn't hear the day before what time I should expect the crew. I texted that morning asking and got told 30 minutes before they showed up. The crew was very polite any time we had to engage while they were on site. They made sure to ask me where exactly the sod was going. I asked if they could remove a small stump where the sod was going and if they couldn't I would remove it. They kindly said they could. Once going to pay my invoice I noticed they had a charge of $350 for debris removal but no debris were removed and I was never asked if I wanted them to take the debris which I would have said no. I ended up sharing the camera recording that showed nothing was removed! This ended up getting removed as they said there was confusion and that taking away the pallets from the soil & sod from the site was not considered debris. The sod looked great post laying down however two days later when we went to install the sprinkler system we were stunned to see what was underneath. I had been charged $400 for top soil, if you look at the pictures there is hardly any top soil under the sod. I was told they would prep the ground but yet you see rocks, sticks, etc so the ground was not moved though it's claimed to have been raked. The backyard is that tough clay like dirt so it needs to be roughed and prepped to ensure its growth. It's apparent it was not. When sharing the videos and photos with the company asking for resolution or partial refund. I got told that this was up to their standard, they did the proper prep and there was $400 worth of top soil there. I also got told they already gave me a discount by removing the debris charge!! Though there were not debris removed and were now saying the pallets did count as removal. No partial refund or even correction of the work they did. I unfortunately will not be using them again though I originally had considered using them for my front lawn later in the year.

Mark met with me within a couple of days to survey my property and gave me his expert opinions and recommendations. He offered so much more than I had envisioned and gave me several options to chose from. I chose the option to have my front and side yard fully covered with sod. I also had a driveway drainage issue when it rained, causing water to pool in my driveway up to several days. I was so impressed with Mark's patience in answering my questions and thoroughly explaining the steps on how the sod project would be completed, I had him include the estimate for a french drain to be installed as well. I accepted the offer and Mark provided timely communications and updates before the project began. On the day of the project, Mark and his crew were extremely organized and work very well together. The old grass was removed and the clay soil was prepped and leveled. The 100 ft french drain was installed during the yard preparation. The top soil was applied and leveled. The sod arrived on time and installation began on the morning of its arrival. Mark and his crew had all the sod laid quickly. The team was very friendly and respectful of my property. One of the crew members found an expensive drill and gave it to me so I could return it to the Spectrum technician who left it when he was moving the cable lines. I worked from home and I was not disturbed by the work going on outside from the crew. All the work was completed in two days. Now I have an HOA friendly yard!
