I went to this optometry office hoping for the high-end experience they advertise, but what I got was high-end pricing with absolutely none of the service to match. From the start, I was hit with price discrepancies for the services which seemed to be intended deception surrounding a "promotion". There was a delay in receiving my glasses, and not once did anyone INITIATE communication with me about the delay or offer any kind of apology. I received a pair of glasses that were dirty and poorly presented--something I would expect at a discount chain like Walmart Optical, not a supposed luxury practice. It was clear that no thought or care went into making the experience feel special or professional. The management was particularly disappointing, offering no empathy or consideration for the poor service I had endured. This office markets itself as high-end, but in reality, it's just a pricey, underwhelming experience with the kind of service you'd expect from a much less reputable place. I will not be returning and definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for quality care or a true luxury experience. read more

I find him, and his associates, to be very kind, professional, and always attentive and caring for my eye needs and concerns. Dr. Bindal suggested changes in my contacts, and remedies for my eye dryness that other opticians have never addressed. This has helped me tremendously! If you have something wrong with your vision, I would not go here. Dr. Bindal failed me. Instead of saying, "Well, I can't seem to find what you're experiencing. Let's send you somewhere else that might be able to" He instead, went on to tell me that I probably have always experienced my symptoms and that I just didn't notice. He then changed his answer up by the end of the visit and said something along the lines of, it's not a vision problem. Thanks for not believing in a patient! One who is a photographer and has to rely on her eyes! I was diagnosed by another doctor apparently much more qualified to be a doctor since he doesn't write off his patients, with Superior Oblique Palsy--ehem, A VISION PROBLEM that often does not cause double vision, does not show in photographs and scans, and can come on due to medical trauma. - All things listed to Dr. Bindal who then told me "If you had a vision problem, you'd be seeing double vision." HA. Okay man. Imagine that! If a doctor does not know what your symptoms are and writes you off, get another! I wish I could get a refund from my visit because of how unhelpful he was. I don't know what's up with doctors always wanting to diagnose you or put you down when they don't know what's going on. Own up to that and send that patient somewhere else to help them continue in the search for an answer! read more

Started going here in the spring of 2024 after relocating to the area. My experience has been positive overall. With Bianaca's help the process to purchase glasses has been pretty smooth and easy. They also arrive pretty quickly. I have had multiple appointments (annual exams and glaucoma screening) that have run smoothly. The best ever. I have been coming here for over a year for dry eyes, contacts, glasses, and itchy eyes. Dr. Bindal and Dr. Shannon have both been such amazing providers. They have helped me manage my dry eyes very well. In the past I had visited more than 5 other eye doctors for with very little improvement, but they finally helped me find ways to make it better easily. Also, they always have good deals on contacts and glass lenses too. Last year I received $300 back in rebate from the contacts I purchased and this year as well in addition to free glass lenses. Be sure to ask for Elizabeth when shopping for glasses. She's very sweet and patient. She picked out the best glasses for me and it was a really good experience. The receptionist/nurse (not sure of her title or her name, but she was amazing) created such a welcoming environment. I was able to be seen by Dr. Adamich, who was extremely kind and answered every question and concern I brought up. Spent $350.00 for Ray Ban frames five months ago - the arm slides off when I'm taking my glasses off, the manufacturer says they have a 24 month warranty but they tell me I have to buy new frames. I do the research to tell them there is a 24 month warranty and it's either defective manufacturing or something else with quality because taking off and putting on glasses in your sixties seems like normal use.... So then after 20-30 minutes they will submit to the manufacturer and if they reject it I have to buy new frames.... Nice... not even "I'm sorry this happened, let's see if the warranty can cover this and if not we can offer you new frames at a xx% discount" or some type of customer care. Nice to buy from, not nice for service it seems after the purchase. read more

I hate having to leave a negative review to try and resolve my issue, but it's been 2+ months in trying to find a frame that works for my face with no results. I have a complicated prescription in where one eye is significantly different from the other, and it results in one lens being a lot thicker than the other. I also have a very flat nose bridge, so a lot of frames don't work for my face. In the past, I've been helped by associates who understood how the lens would impact the fit of the frames on my face and I've been able to get great glasses from here. But this most recent experience has been extremely disappointing. On the first try, I found a pair that seemed to fit. The day that they were ready, I tried them on and they immediately fell down off my face and were unwearable. I was told "these won't work with your prescription because the lenses are too heavy and will pull the frame down." If that was the case, why didn't someone flag that before I bought them? They offered a remake, which took about another month. This time, when I tried them on when they were ready, they were extremely uncomfortable. Again, due to the lens weight and my facial structure, they had to be adjusted in a way that was painful to wear. I've asked for a refund since I've basically got a designer paperweight. If you are Asian (low nose bridge, flat cheek structure) with an unusual prescription, this isn't the place for you. read more

Do your eyes a favor and go to any other optometrist in the DMV. I had an urgent eye infection issue and they were the only place in the area that could fit me in on short notice. During the appointment the doctor used fear mongering tactics and told me I would likely need surgery to resolve the issue. Then proceeded to say I needed to purchase an eye mask and eye drops from them, which were significantly overpriced. However, after a round of antibiotics the issue quickly resolved. During my follow-up appointment to check on the issue, I saw a different eye doctor that acknowledged the doctor I had previously seen likes to paint a "dooms day" scenario for patients. This doctor recommended I return a few weeks later for another check-up and eye exam. When I returned for a third appointment, the office tried to claim I didn't have insurance and refused to call my insurance provider to verify my coverage. Mind you--I am fortunate to have very good employer provided insurance and my insurance provider had just swiftly processed my previous two visits. Absolutely nothing had changed with my insurance coverage in the three weeks since my last appointment. The office was extremely rude, condescending and unwilling to answer my questions and proceeded to argue that I didn't have insurance and wasn't aware of my insurance coverage, which wasn't the case. Given the rude, condescending and poor service provided, I will not be returning and recommend others steer clear. Patients deserve to be treated with care and respect by providers. read more
