I have never used a pet sitting service, but needed someone to watch over our two precious cats. Did not want to use a kennel, so I reached out to a friend that works with many shelters and recommended "A way with animals " sitting service. Best decision ever, I meet with a wonderful pet sitter that came to my home to go over my cats care. My husband and I were very comfortable with the sense that my pets will be safe and secure. Even when we had a severe weather, and when it calmed down the sitter stopped by my house to check on my home and my pets. I would differently recommend this service, and looking forward to using them again. I should also say that they are affordable, friendly and know that your home and pets are well cared for. Excellent service! This has been my first time using 'A way with Animals pet services' and I simply love their service. Their pricing is just right and the care and attention to details are outstanding. I met Cheryl and Michele S. a week before my vacation to introduce them to our 2 cats, our dog and parrot, showed them where everything was located in the house and Cheryl explained to us exactly how their services and app works. While we were away, Michele S. took excellent care of all of our furry kids and sent me daily text messages giving me updates (she knew I would not have access to my emails while I was away), she also picked up our mail and cleaned all of their food plates. I was at peace and was able to enjoy myself knowing that they were all in good loving hands. I highly recommend this service! read more

Whenever we go away on vacation, the ladies at A Way With Animals take excellent care of our fuzzball, Chicory. Keeps my mind at ease to know she's safe, and seen to, and that our home is secure. We cannot thank you enough Cheryl & Laura for the wonderful care you provided for our two cats Reese & Tinsel while we were away. Your morning messages and pictures was such a great start to our day!! Knowing that our cats were so well cared for each and every day allowed us to really relax and not worry about them while we were on vacation. One final trainer recommended we try Mind Of Dog because she also wasn't able to break through. I'm so grateful we did. He's thriving and comes home exhausted. An added bonus is the people training we've received. The best part of all of it, is that he's finally getting the exercise and structure he's always needed and deserves. They handle the dogs calmly, but with lots of structure and clear boundaries, which our dog desperately needs. We can finally go to work and travel without worrying that he's being mishandled or ignored. We're so grateful to have found this place and I have to admit, I was waiting for him to fail again, because we had lost all hope. I highly recommend that you give Mind Of Dog a shot, especially if you're in a similar position as we were. Thanks, Mind of Dog! That is an emergency situation that usually requires major surgery. Honestly after reading all these bad reviews I was reluctant to go to Newton. I full well expected to be told the kindest thing would be to euthanize her. However Dr Simermeyer found a less invasive solution. After less than two hours my little Maggie came out awake and alert. She is home sleeping on my bed. No complications so far and I hope for a full recovery. PLUS, the final cost was considerably under what I expected, and also under what they estimated. Very fair pricing and great service. What a great job! I hope I never NEED to go back, but if I do I will go with full confidence I'll get top tier care.

Recently we decided we missed having two canine family members and set out to begin the search for a friend for our dog Daisy (also a rescue) and I knew about Eleventh Hour Rescue and the work they do for a while and had attended events like Puptoberfest. When we saw there was a Winter market happening at the Sussex fairgrounds, we got our pre-appoved application completed and attended the event with Daisy hoping to meet a particular dog. When it turned out the beautiful girl in question wouldn't be quite the right fit for our family, we came close to leaving and determined to search through other adoptable dogs with 11th Hour when we were asked if Daisy wanted to meet Jett, who we'd missed. We did an introduction and short walk together with one of the volunteers and our family. It became quickly apparent that these two would become fast friends and he was super friendly immediately with our whole family. Jett came home with us that day and immediately seemed to feel right at home. But he wasn't answering to his name, so we bounced a bunch around and thought we'd have to use a process to change it, but we came up with Remmington III (Remmy casually) and he began answering to that almost immediately. We are on day 3 and we all couldn't be happier. Everyone who volunteers with Eleventh Hour from the pre-approval process to the event staff were so welcoming, encouraging and wonderful. They do a fantastic job of vetting potential adopters so that each animal finds their perfect furever home. I would recommend anyone searching for a furry family member to consider them.

We cannot say enough how much we appreciate the services of A Way with Animals. When we go away, we no longer are worried about our cat, thanks to Cheryl and Kathie. Prior to finding Cheryl's organization, we had another local pet sitter whom we found had NOT been coming consistently and had forgotten to give our pet his daily heart medication on several occasions. So we were very skeptical when looking for a new service. But Kathie calmed all of our fears and has become someone we truly can rely on. In addition to feeding and taking care of daily needs, when Kathie sits for us, she also stays to play with our cat and make sure he knows he has not been abandoned. My husband and I recently used A Way With Animals when we went away for a few nights and we could not be happier! Boarding our two cats was out of the question, so I did some research and found A Way With Animals Pet Services, and they were highly recommended. Interacting with Cheryl was pleasant and easy, and she set me up with a lovely, kind cat lover named Alison. I met with Alison before our trip and saw immediately that she had that special way with cats. Even my shy cat came out to meet her. I let her know the cats' personalities, habits, and feeding instructions. My husband and I went away with such peace of mind knowing that Gracie and Dahlia would be getting the best of care! Kathie was our pet sitter. She stayed overnight to take care of my 10-year old somewhat neurotic dog. She made him perfectly comfortable in our absence, let him sleep in the bed with her, and did anything else she knew was part of his routine and comfort. This was the first time we had ever used a pet sitter, and I was nervous. She followed all of my instructions perfectly. She also sent me texts (at my request), letting me know how he was doing, and easing my mind. I was extremely happy with the care she gave my dog. Highly recommend! read more
