Since I'm a fairly new resident of BCS, I asked a friend at church for a stylist recommendation for a much-needed haircut. (I really liked how her hair looked.) She said she has been going to Brenda Hayes for a long time. I followed her suggestion and could not have been more pleased. This lady really knows her stuff. She asked all the right questions and knew exactly what to do with my old lady hair. I especially liked that she didn't push me to color my gray hair but actually complimented me on it. I had 3 appointments with Kristina S. over the course of about 4 months and she got my hair from a dark brown to light gray. (I had to condition the hell out of my hair because my scalp was super irritated from the bleach so in the picture it's blonde). She was able to work with my schedule and see me when the salon was technically closed which was really nice of her. And even though we had to bleach my hair so much, it's still pretty healthy and feels soft. I would definitely recommend Kristina. She's really nice and knows what she's doing. Went to see Becky and she's amazing and easy to work with. She doesn't cater to all the consuming fashion but she cuts and styles your hair the way you want it. She took the time to listen to me and my needs. That I'm not too fancy for work and my style needs to be very practical but nice and clean. She listened to me and gave me great color, a cut and waxing. She was honest about what she could and couldn't do and her schedule was flexible. Such a great place! Mostly, I love my hairdresser Ashley Keilman (whom I followed to A Wild Hair from Chrome). She does such an amazing job of pinning exactly what I want. It's so refreshing to have a hair dresser that you can trust with your look! The salon is wonderful as well. I really like how the hair dressers have their own booths. It makes it feel much smaller and personal than it is. It is decorated so cute and everyone there is very friendly. I love how they offer coffee and cookies and such in the back half of the building. Linda Rosas at A Wild Hair has been doing my hair for years. She is the best at hair coloring as anyone in BCS. Her knowledge of hair coloring and hair care is so comprehensive and based on her years of experience.She can do it all color, low lights, high lights. Linda uses Goldwell color product. This is a European product. I have found that this product does not fade as other colors do.Linda makes the color look so natural. She also gives the best perms I have ever had. Her perms are so soft and natural. Needless to say her haircuts are terrific. She can do men's and women's hair. Linda has so much experience she will give you a great haircut. After 2 years and 4 different hairdressers I FINALLY found Jane. She actually gave me the hair I have been wanting when nobody else has and she is so genuine and friendly. Jane really goes out of her way to ensure you love her work. I will be moving 2 hours away in a few weeks but that is not going to stop me from coming back to have her do my highlights and whatever else I may want done to my hair as she is well worth the drive! read more

Had appointments scheduled with Linda (?) for myself and daughter. When we showed up the receptionist asked "Didn't you get the voice mail...mails I left for you telling you Linda called in and won't be in?" "Oh wait we don't have your phone number." She explained they had called and told their manager but she was out of town, and they had no one to do our hair. Sorry. We left very disappointed. I went back in to get the receptionist name but she had left the front desk.(I could hear her yucking it up in the back room.) I waited several minutes until one of the stylists asked if she could help me and I asked for the receptionist name; Sydney is what I was told. I can totally appreciate someone being sick but I will not tolerate being lied to. They have our phone number as we've been in before so Sydney lied she called and left voice mails then saying oh wait we don't have your number which they did...So what is it? We went to A Wild Hair based on a recommendation and were returning for another visit. We will let the person know who recommended A Wild Hair, and we will be sure to get the word out about their poor customer service. read more
