I recently ordered a sympathy arrangement to be delivered to a local funeral home. I'm aware that substitutions may be required for the arrangement based on floral availability. Their website states that substitutions will be of equal or higher value and that the overall theme and integrity of the arrangement will remain intact. The arrangement I purchased did not fulfill this promise. For example, in the website picture of the arrangement, there are 8-9 roses. In the delivered arrangement there are 3. Multiple other details are missing and the final product was a sad downgrade to the original. I don't take giving poor reviews lightly as I know this is someone's livelihood. I wrote the owner to express my dissatisfaction and was basically dismissed. I am posting the website arrangement and the delivered product. Buyer beware. read more

For over 15 years I have flowers requested for my husband's grave. I live in another state not accessible to the state he's buried in. A Wildflower Shop has done really great on flower arrangements, delivering them and sending me a picture of the beautiful arrangements placed at his headstone. They have even done more. My husband and I had our last dog together and I requested a remembrance for him as well. They complied and I have been very pleased and happy to be one of their customers. A delightful little florist shop. I discovered it on Small Business Saturday when I was shopping at Four Muddy Paws, next door. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They made me feel so welcomed in their flower and gift shop. While shopping, I was able to find a yard flag holder and a holiday flag to start my collection of flags. I have always wanted one of these and when I moved into my new house, most of my neighbors all had them. So, I thought it was time to take the plunge and make the purchase. I'm glad it was from a local small business and not a chain or mail-order. I also, purchased a new ornament for my Christmas tree. You can never have too many holiday decorations. I ordered funeral flowers for our Aunt's funeral. I was so disappointed. When I called I ordered an arrangement with blue flower's maybe a blue ribbon. I also told her I wanted a ribbon that said Aunt. There is no ribbon. For $80 I would have expected more than 2 hydrangea , 1 carnation, 3 roses, and some blue flowers that looked almost dead. They also delivered them in the wrong room, when I got there I called her & she told me where they were. I told the funeral director & she went to the back room & got them. I am not usually the one to write reviews, however my experience with A Wildflower Shop was very poor. I ordered an arrangement for my Grandmothers funeral and was extremely disappointed. The arrangement I ordered was through an online vendor who outsources to local florists. I was not expecting the arrangement to look identical, however, I paid to have "premium" flowers vs the "standard" option. When I saw the flowers at the funeral I was embarrassed as they were wilting and a faded pink versus a vibrant pink. As always, I wanted to give the florist the benefit of the doubt and decided to stop by in person to discuss the arrangement. The lady at A Wildflower Shop was disrespectful and told me that the arrangement I had ordered looked exactly like the one online and that my arrangement was the "standard" option. Meanwhile, she did not bother looking up my order and confirming this. As noted on my receipt, I had ordered the "premium" option. If possible, I would recommend ordering from Schnucks or Dierbergs, as their products are of much higher quality. read more

I got my flowers from here for my wedding. They wanted to charge $200+ just for delivery for 20 miles away. After I have already spent over $500 on flowers. Needless to say, we had someone pick them up. When the flowers got to the venue- no thanks to them, they were messed up. I was told we would be getting a free 'throw bouquet' so that I could keep my own special bouquet but that bouquet was nowhere to be found. Also, my husbands boutonniere was supposed to be different from all the other groomsmen and it was not. The groomsmen were supposed to have miniature roses and instead had large roses the same as my husbands. For how expensive they are I expected better. In addition, I had to call multiple times to get my quote, and then I had to call and even show up to the store to try and pay them for my flowers. Total disappointment read more

We ordered flowers online for a recent funeral (Weber Funeral Home) using The Sympathy Store. We later found out the local provider for our order was A Wildflower Shop. We ordered the Premium Country Basket Blooms (not the Standard or Deluxe). When we arrived at the funeral we found a small basket of flowers with our name on it---totally inappropriate. MAYBE it would have been okay if we had order the Standard. Maybe they thought since we were ordering online we wouldn't be at the funeral and wouldn't know. read more

I got my wife some beautiful fresh flowers for Valentine's Day from this new shop in town. Even though this is a new business, the owners are experienced florists and my wife loved the arrangement. The process was easy. I just told them what I wanted to spend and they guided me in the right direction. 12 days later, my wife has pulled out a few flowers but she is still enjoying the bouquet. I found this florist on Yelp and the reviews seemed very good, so I decided to give it a try. The ladies who helped me were very courteous and helped me decide what to get. The pricing was competitive and they will send you an email to confirm delivery. They have a loyalty program that rewards you when you reach a certain level, so that's a big plus. Used this place for a wedding in June 2015. They were friendly, accommodating, and offered great pricing. The arrangements were beautiful and the staff kept in contact with me a few times until the event just to make sure i had everything i needed. They were even able to make a few last minute changes that I needed (which is so important for wedding needs).
