Placed an order 2 weeks in advance. 20 minutes before my pick up time I get a call that they have no flowers & want to know if I want a refund or would like to pick up in 2 days when they get flowers again. I ask why I wasn't told sooner & the worker said they don't know either & whoever worked the day prior would've seen they didn't have enough flowers then. Edible Fruits (125th Street) I was not impressed with Edible Fruits at all. When I walked in, no one was at the front, and a wall blocked the view so you couldn't see if anyone was even there. After I asked for the two fruit cups advertised on the sign outside, the employee rang me up first, then went into the closed-off back and returned with two cups that looked old. The honeydew/cantaloupe had lost its green color and looked whitish, there was liquid pooled at the bottom of the cups, and the pineapple pieces looked discolored--clear signs the fruit wasn't fresh. When I pointed this out, she argued instead of offering a solution or a refund. Bottom line: Edible Fruits' advertising does not match what they serve, and the customer service was unprofessional. In my personal opinion, a health inspector should evaluate this location. I will not return. read more

Do Not order gifts from Edible Arrangements in Edwardsville, IL . This business is fraudulent. I paid $80 for an arrangement plus $20 in tip and delivery to a coworker. She shared A photo of what she received and it was equivalent to a $30 arrangement from their website and did not include the extra features I paid for. The business will not answer or return my calls or emails to make it right, so I have to resort to complaining here. Edwardsville is giving Edible Arrangements a bad reputation. read more

We never received our order. They never answered the phone. We did not read reviews until after the fact; don't waste your money or time.

I have been ordering from them for at least 4 years. Instead of ordering flowers for funerals and illnesses, I order edible arrangements. Everyone is always delisted with them. When they don't feel like eating anything and they get these beautiful arrangements they automatically eat. I have never gotten a complain, always get happy thank you'd! This store deserves a 0 star rating Placed an order a week ago for delivery and was promised it would be delivered on this Monday. The recipient stayed home and waited for delivery and when it got to be 6 pm I attempted to call and after being on hold for an hour I gave up. Called this morning and finally someone answered and said they had an over flow of orders because of Mother's Day and graduations but was REASSURED delivery would be made today. And guess what , no delivery and no answer at the business phone. I totally get being over run with orders but why promise the delivery if you can't deliver it and maybe if you can't deliver it why not give us a courtesy phone call. It's Tuesday night and no edible arrangement , no phone call , no clue on what good customer service is. NO DELIVERY, NO GOOD 815 PM the doorbell rings and it's the arrangement finally delivered missing several extra items we paid for. You see this was for a graduate from SIUE my daughter and I can't be there with her because of social distancing and living 300 miles away. Promised on Monday delivered late Tuesday missing half the items we paid for ,warm so obviously it sat in a delivery truck. I wish I could give a 0 star rating! My husband placed a delivery order for Valentine's Day (Wed) before 3pm. It was delivered at 5:30pm.. my work was closed. Tried calling the next day and left multiple voicemails, went there Friday evening and it was closed early. Tried calling over the weekend again multiple times, no answer. Today I go there after work at 330 and the door is locked. Thankfully someone else came behind me with the same issue and he was banging on the glass.. someone comes to the door. She seemed annoyed but she let us in and refunded our orders. I was upset because this was more of a hassle for me considering we live in Shiloh IL and I really wanted the strawberries not a refund! She also said that their phones have been down since the day after Valentine's Day ( how convenient) I used to be a server and a hostess, so I understand things happen and nobody's perfect, but to be ignored for a week after you spend $100 I think she should've treated me a little nicer. Please do not waste your money and go here unless you want to to track a person down to try to get a refund & their hours don't match up to what they say online and they won't answer the phone either!!! read more

Everything was fine. The only thing that wasn't great was when I received the email saying the order was ready. I showed up to the building a few minutes later to find out that they had just "dropped the apples and it would be ready in a few minutes." I'm extremely disappointed in how Mother's Day was handled. I live in Chicago and wanted to surprise my elderly mother, who lives in Glen Carbon, IL, with chocolate covered strawberries--her favorite--and Mother's Day balloons from Edible Arrangements. After accepting the fact that they weren't delivering on actual Mother's Day, I chose the next best day, Monday, May 11th. I called and verified on Monday at 3:29pm to see if they were making deliveries because my mother hadn't received hers yet and the lady on the phone, who sounded rather annoyed by me, told me her gift was out for delivery and that they guarantee it to be delivered by 8:00pm. At 7:55pm, no delivery. I tried calling again and no answer. Today, Tuesday, May 12th, my mother did receive her box of chocolates at 1:05pm but no balloons were with it. I paid for both. Now, I've been on hold for a little over 30 minutes and still no answer. I called earlier today, at 10:21am just to verify the order but was on hold for 25 minutes and hung up because still no answer. I'm so sad about the chocolate covered strawberries NOT showing up with the Mother's Day balloon on TOP of it arriving a day late with no notice. I'm even more upset that I can't get ahold of anyone and can not simply drive to the store. This is completely unprofessional and disappointing. read more
