Plus I had no refrigerator and they pulled the washer out and gave it to somebody else. The property itself is not bad but ran by a company that's failing it. The wiring is old in those town homes. I must say it's in a decent area but ppl don't respect other people's parking spaces. They are limited and few so No you can't be having all your friends and family over. Overall it wouldn't be this bad if there was a company that gave a damn!

Apparently they ignore rental history, references, and even if you have over 5 times the rent in monthly income, they will still deny you if your credit had the smallest of smudges. They don't even have the balls to call you when they tell you you're denied. They give you an impersonal email. When you try to get more information as to why, or ask to reconsider they do not even bother to respond. So when you call cause they ignore you, you are treated like garbage. Glad to know how much better these people think they are then everyone else. I'm also glad to know that these people judge you based solely on some score without even bothering to get to know them as a person. Completely impersonal and an awful company, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! Dixon probably has a sunny little house or duplex with lots of windows and hardwood floors in a kind of questionable neighborhood that's just for you! I've rented at least two places from her (moving around used to be a hobby of mine I guess) and I really wish I hadn't taken advantage of her leniency and gone and painted and "remodeled." I'd totally be going over her listings right now if it weren't for the fact that she'd probably laugh in my face. No, she wouldn't, she's way too nice - just a sweet little oldish lady who seems to not charge enough for rent. The last place I rented was a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with the windows, floors and neighborhood I mentioned earlier for $500/month - unreal! Granted, the place didn't have central (or any) heat, and may not have even come with any appliances (as I recall I had to come up with a fridge and stove [hot plate]), but still! It was really cute and even had a fenced yard, and was right by Lamar University. I think the majority of her places are in old town, but there may be a lot in South Park, too. Even so, you get a lot of quaintness bang for your buck, and she's just really easy to deal wtih.

Disappointingly after staying here for a while you start to realize how rude the workers in the office are all the way up to mr.parigi the owner. The apartments are infested with gnats there have been times when I have seen roaches . Even after spraying for bugs myself. Usually bill clark would come and spray every so often but they stopped coming after a while. Even the people that changed the Ac filters stopped coming. There was also mold on some of the vents in the kitchen. You can tell that there was a little water damage as well in certain areas of the kitchen. The railing on my patio is very loose. And if that's not enough my door needed to be replaced but they never got to it . All in all it was a horrible experience. From the customer service to the maintenance up keep. Do not recommend at all.. I really wouldn't even rate them a whole star they don't deserve it at all .

Not the best cleaning crew. End of March I put in a request to have the gasket on the refrigerator door replaced. In May I asked that a vanity drawer be fixed. I also reminded them to replace the gasket on the refrigerator. (Two months on the fridge, mind you). 6/19/17 a man came to my door in shorts and shirt. No uniform. Did not introduce himself. I had no clue who he was. Finally got him to tell me he was the cabinet guy. I should have a new cabinet in three weeks! Someone came to my apartment on 6/22/17 to look at the refrigerator. This guy was wearing a Parigi uniform. He looked at the refrigerator, poked the gasket with a screw driver and said he would see what he could do. On 6/23/17 I received a call from Darlene to remove everything from my refrigerator on Monday 6/26/17. My refrigerator is going to be replaced. At 3:40pm I called to see when the refrigerator will be delivered and she said tomorrow. The milk and cream are spoiled. All the frozen food has thawed. Ice Cream is gone. Just be honest people. I pay my rent on time every month. I don't complain. I've waited three months! I get the feeling as long as you pay your rent, they don't care about anything else. When I go into the office, even to pay my rent, they make me feel like I am intruding on their day. Not a good feeling. When you ask to speak to the owner or supervisor, you are told you can not. You can only talk to the people in the office. I am sure Mr. Parigi does not know this is happening.

(SOUR LAKE) First off I refused the property…read morewhen I originally saw it because they were asking way too much for the rent ($1800/mth for a house on piers and about 1100sq ft) 2 mths later the realtor called me and asked me if unwound pay $1700. I said no. She came back with $1650 and THAT Is what I've been paying EVERY MONTH without fail for this property since Aug 2022. Another probelm,.. they were super great as we went through the process of leasing the house and were SUPPOSED to put a probable building on site because it had no garage. They bought a $200kit from.lowes and had someone put it.together. I refused it because my items would have been destroyed the first rain we had. So I paid for my OWN portable bldg at a whopping ADDTIONAL $250/mth! Then in order to GET the building on the property I had to PAY someone to take down a section of fence. But thinking ahead I asked permission to install a gate that would allow me.to remove the bldg when I left and they said yea. Cost me another $750. Then problems started happening with the house. The electric bill was DOUBLE what my 2000sqft brick home had been the last 8 years. (No insulation and leaks everywhere) the AC didn't cool the makeshift bedroom upstairs so I had to buy a portable ac for that bedroom and spent another $500! And I'm STILL paying $1650/ mth mind you. (Supply and demand my rear! It's greeed!) Then Christmas gets here and the pipes froze. They tried to blame it on me because THEY don't have the home skirted. That is NOT my responsibility! Went without ANY water for 2 weeks! I deducted 1 week from my rent because of this and paid the other because we were out of town anyways. But during this whole ordeal with the pipes the "maintenance person" that manages this house was so rude and condescending to me. Then they send out emails everytime.there is something different about the change in the weather (spring is here and summer is here etc.... telling us we are responsible for this that and the other ) well we had had 3 weeks of solid rain and were unable to even mow our grass (ive had a service doing my yard since I moved in) becsue it was so wet and they send out an email being passive aggressive about the yards not being mowed. Smh. I have NEVER had a owner or landlord EVER micromanage and be so blatantly rude about it either. I've been leasing for 15 years because I was a single parent and officed from home. So renting is more affordable for me and advatageous. Not to mention the maintenance. Anyways. This company has a 1 rating on Google and I understand why. It's been horrific! I would NEVER recommend them to ANYONE as a property manager. EVER!
