Update to our review of May 4, 2024…read more All the good things I had to say after Greg had his guys redo the poor first attempt at resurfacing our driveway last year went right out the window this morning. I first attempted to contact Greg via email to schedule the agreed upon annual inspection on June 4, 2025. After hearing nothing for a couple of weeks, he finally responded with a proposal on July 13th which detailed the work to be done at a cost to us of $500. We accepted the proposal that same day. Greg cautioned that he would schedule our work along with other jobs he had in the area, so there could be a wait - which was no problem for us. After hearing nothing for several weeks however, I asked for an update on August 25. He responded on August 28th that he currently had no projects scheduled for the "Deltona or Daytona" areas but would advise when he did. On October 7 he asked if "the next 4-6 weeks" would work for us, to which I immediately said yes, and requested a couple of days advance notice so I could power wash the driveway. Then nothing again for 8 weeks, so I asked again via email on December 7 for an update. Nothing again, so I called and talked directly to Greg on December 17. He was obviously surprised and less than happy to hear from me and arranged to come over on Monday morning 12/22 @ 9:00am to discuss the matter further. He arrived at 8:11 and apparently agitated about something. He then proceeded to tell me immediately that he wanted nothing more to do with us - that we were far out of his normal operational territory and that he simply couldn't afford to support us any further. After some back and forth in which I was trying to figure out just exactly what "maintenance" would be required to keep the driveway looking good, he decided to terminate the meeting by addressing me as "Look Dude, this is going nowhere . . . . . . ." - to which I reminded him I was not "Dude" to him, but instead "Mr. Customer." At this, he departed. I guess he might have thought a bit more about our meeting after leaving because I received a text from him at 9:15am directing me to contact him sometime after the new year, around 1/15/2026 - and not by email (verifiable paper trail?). And for what purpose should I contact Him? To get strung along for another six months? For some more surly treatment? No thanks. Bottom line - these guys are capable of delivering some incredibly nice work; but are equally capable of delivering some incredibly shabby customer service.
