The poor seller girl , a cute blonde, a beginner was embarrassed for her , you can see it in her eyes . This isn't the first time , I've been to that shop 10 times in last two years , she is a weirdo , some items have been there for 6-12-18 months , OBVIOUSLY you're not hustler enough to sell them , why is she still fighting on items being there for 6-12 months!!! When I received it the entire exterior was covered in rust which I spent 2 removing. Not a huge deal but the muzzle crown was covered in rust and requires a re-crown. Also the front sight hood that was pictured in the add was not received. I had an extensive email exchange with a woman name Shawna. She wasted a tremendous amount of my time asking stupid questions so I sent her photos (See below) and asked about the sight hood to which she accused me of lying. I asked for a reimbursement for the re-crown ($100) and the sight hood. She told me to pound sand sighting that the fine print at the bottom of the add stated a condition as being GOOD. This rifle was less than good and not mechanically sound. I gave up fighting with her as she clearly has little to no knowledge of firearms and I will eat the repair costs but wanted to let the rest of you know that you should NOT purchase anything from this company online. Inspect the item in person and closely as this company is dishonest and has terrible customer service. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! WORST FIREARMS TRANSACTION I'VE HAD IN 35 YEARS BEING IN THE BUSINESS! After placing a large order, more than two weeks passed without any shipping update. It took three separate requests before I finally received a tracking number. Tyler assured me my package would arrive the following Tuesday, but when I checked the tracking information myself, it showed that only a shipping label had been created. The carrier had not yet received the package. Because of the delay and conflicting information, I requested to cancel my order. Tyler told me that wasn't possible because the order had already shipped, even though the tracking information clearly showed otherwise. After asking to speak with the owner, I spoke with him briefly. Our conversation focused solely on how I wanted my refund issued. There was no discussion of the conflicting shipping information or the concerns that led me to cancel the order. Since I had paid by credit card, I requested that it be credited back to my card, but I was told a cash refund would be easier. When I picked up my refund, I was handed a large amount of cash with no receipt or documentation. After counting it at home, I discovered I had been shorted by more than $200. I immediately contacted the owner and returned to collect the remaining balance. Again, I was handed cash with no paperwork. Since the beginning of this issue, I have requested three separate times to speak with the owner to provide feedback about my experience. Each time I was told he was unavailable, in a meeting, or out of the office. Despite those requests, I have never received a return call. The true measure of a business isn't how it treats customers when everything goes right--it's how it responds when something goes wrong. I chose to support JRC Gold Exchange from the week they opened because I believe in supporting local businesses. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that a year of loyalty and more than $11,000 in business were not met with the level of accountability, communication, or customer care I expected. They offered me a check on the spot or gave me the option of waiting a couple weeks for it to be refined. I asked what the difference was and they only mentioned two things: the amount of non-silver possibly mixed in (which would change the rate I received) or the cost of silver on that particular day. They said, "your silver tests as pure so we're confident of giving you a payout today." After depositing my check and returning home I thought something wasn't right. I called and asked why there was a discrepancy based on my calculation versus the check amount. They said it was 6-7% less if I opted for a check on the spot (which they did not tell me in person.) That would bring it to 81%. I hung up, checked my math again and realized I was only paid 73%. I called them back and they said that rate they charge for immediate payout changes from time to time. Huh? Then, there was mention of spot price versus physical price. I had several options of places to bring my scrap. I'm very disappointed that I didn't have accurate information going into this. They offered to let me bring the check back and refine my silver on the spot. But I had already deposited the check.
