Today he replaced my water bib/faucet as it was leaking freezing into a waterfall outside my house. Last winter he came out when it was -40 and my furnace stopped working even though it was late at night! I've referred loads of family and friends to Todd (-& company) and everyone is always thrilled. This past summer he saved my friend $8k+ when another company had said they needed to replace their AC (that wasn't working) for their 4000 sq foot bungalow (yikes)! The plumber we dealt with for many years seems to be under new management because they wouldn't install something not purchased at their shop. They won't get any more of my business as well as all the plumbers who won't do a small job like mine. I found Adrian through Yelp and he showed up the next day at the promised time. (How long has it been since that happened to you?) He also honoured his quote even though it took more time than he estimated plus he gave us a senior's discount (YAY!!!). He takes VISA, a service that sometimes small businesses skip.The sink was left squeaky clean. He soon figured out that the blockage was on the city's main line and a serious one that could potentially impact more than just our home. Troy had me call the city and request help through the fire department. While we waited for the city crews to unplug the main blockage he managed to stop more sewage from coming in to our basement through the floor drain. His thoroughness is diagnosing the problem and persistence ( over 3 hrs. ) in trying to reduce the damage to our home was amazing!!! I checked the reviews online and they were less and approving, but we went for it anyway.... And I'm very we did. The gentleman that came out was very friendly and explained everything fully about what he thought may be happening and explained the costs that were going to be involved. I also appreciated he showed up on time. He had to try a few different options to what the best way to tackle the problem would be, he chose the route that would not cause further damages (such as removing toilets and wrecking the caulking in place etc). He worked efficiently and kept us in communication if what was going on. He sent the rod in to unclog the pipes and pull out all the crap that gets stuck and then sent the rooter in after to tidy up any left overs and cut away roots that were sneaking in between the pipe joints (which happens over time) I felt informed and comfortable with the information he provided. I told him he could wear his shoes in, and he even had little plastic booties to cover them so he wouldn't bring in snow and mud. But it didn't really matter anyway, as before he left he even cleaned up and decontaminated the floor. It was a little more expensive that I would have hoped, but not more than what I was expecting and realistically, it's a nasty job and I'm willing to pay the cost so I don't need to do it. It was just under $600 all said and done.

He did provide pictures via text. We managed to tell the tenants how to flush the drains. Everything is working now. The quote was inflated and unnecessary.
