She also asked if I needed stakes and those little follow up questions that made the whole process so seamless. I sent in the art work I had but it was lacking the polish and high res images needed. Luckily Caitlin helped point me in the right direction and looped in graphic designer, Mikayla. I have to say- I use to work with Project Managers and graphic designers in my previous job and if I was still in that role, Id try to recruit Mikayla and Caitlin. They just understood the assignment, gave options ( not pushy at all though) and got the job done in record time. They will hang it for you for a cost, but I had a friend who hung it for me instead. I would have another sign made by them in a heartbeat! All being said, its also on the buyer (me, you, etc) to know what you want and basically have your design ready - that helped the process. My screen design kept peeling off multiple times, which was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. After he messed up the first screen, I took my second screen to him, and we discussed that if this happened again, I would be entitled to a refund for both screens. However, when I reached out to Dan about the peeling issue, instead of taking responsibility for his work, he blamed me for the problems, claiming it was my fault for not handling the screens properly. I tried to explain, in a respectful manner, that the issues stemmed from the lack of care and quality in his work on my screens, but he flat-out refused to consider a refund or any kind of solution. As a business owner myself, I understand how crucial it is to prioritize customer satisfaction and take responsibility for your work. It's part of building trust and maintaining a good reputation. In the end, after I pushed back on his claims, he blocked me from communicating further, which was incredibly disappointing and made me feel dismissed as a customer. I'd like those refunds, thanks. Coming from a young 23-year-old who tries to see the positive in everything, trust me when I say to GO TO ANYBODY ELSE BUT DAN CUNNEEN (ORANJ Printing) for screen printing or any other works. The screens were properly coated, exposed, and delivered in good condition, using the same materials and methods I use for all my clients - without issue. I've never once had another customer complain about this process. As a rule, screen printers do not guarantee screens once they leave the shop, because handling, ink type, and cleaning methods - all outside of my control - directly impact screen life. You picked up your first screen almost six weeks before raising a concern, and requested two more screens in the meantime, which clearly indicated the first was satisfactory at the time. When you later demanded a refund (after likely ruining the The screen yourself after letting water-based ink dry on the screen), I declined respectfully and stood by my work. I will not apologize for maintaining professional standards. I wish you well in finding a shop that better suits your expectations." Some tried to dazzle me but then kept adding on fees while others didn't even seem to want my business. Some were wanting me to wait way too long for the finished product and then there were those who were always putting me on hold. In the end, the decision was clear, McNamara signs was reasonably priced, an independent business and had excellent customer service. The process was very easy. You pick out the style you want and add feet if you want them. I think it's best to go with a plastic or wood and we chose the wood. They laid the artwork I supplied over it and it came out exactly like the image I had. The colors matched perfectly and it really looked better than some of the older signs we got from other places. Now it was a bit of a drive for me to get there but it was totally worth it. And the best thing of all is that they have a dog in the shop! I wish I would have brought my pug with me so he could have said hi! McNamara signs does quality work fast and their customer service was perfect! I'll definitely be back when I need more signs.

After years of being a happy customer of PrintWest, I recently had a terrible experience that has…read moremade me wonder if things are changing over there. I run a company that does communication work with nonprofits that serve impoverished and marginalized people in the US and around the world. We recently worked with PrintWest on a print and mail job (mailing small packets to hundreds of US locations). This was time sensitive so we repeatedly asked for first-class mailing and reiterated our condensed time frame. When it came time to do the mailing, our PrintWest rep chose to use a cheaper mailing method - despite our previous asks about first-class service and timing. Packets did not get to the recipients on time, and our client relationship was severely strained. That's bad. What's worse is that I confronted our sales rep Greg about this several times via telephone and email. I requested a refund of the mailing costs only (print job and costs were fine), since we should not have to pay to have our client relationships strained by the mistakes of a vendor. I've never received a response on my repeated requests - not a "absolutely let's make this work for you" or we're working on it" or a "we can't do it and here's way." Just radio silence. This is no way to treat loyal customers. I still think that PrintWest does a good job printing, and they're Seattle local and usually easy to work with. But apparently if they mess up, they're not willing to take responsibility or even respond to inquiries. That's enough for me to be done.
