Nathan is the best. Installed new locks for my place and re-keyed everything for a great price. Then, a few months later, we manage to lock ourselves out of our house one evening. My wife and I were driving in to meet with our realtor to pick up the keys to our very first house. We wanted to get all the locks re-keyed and decided to call Nathan an A1A 24/7 Locksmith based on all the extremely positive reviews from the Yelp! community. Nathan was able to schedule us for 5pm that day (about an hour after my initial call) and he was in our driveway 15 minutes early! He was extremely professional and very personable. He checked out all the locks and told us that they were all good quality, strong and solid locks that were in excellent working condition. He said re-keying would be our best option and that since one of the locks was two-sided, he would only charge us the price of one lock on that door. Cut to about an hour later and he had re-keyed 12 locks (by hand) and made us several new sets of keys. He even took the time to adjust the door plates on two doors that he noticed were not lining up correctly. I have absolutely no reservations recommending Nathan and A1A 24/7 Locksmith. He has the most reasonable rates, is honest and efficient and there were no 'surprise' charges when all was said and done. He suggested just getting the keying done at a local place (would probably be $20 give or take) since his charge would be $75. But that included installation of the new handle and it sounded fair. Wow! I read the reviews and decided to try Nathan out. I called him and was able to schedule an appointment the same day around my schedule. Try that with most guys and they just laugh at you. We picked a time and Nathan was there 8 min's early ready to do the job. I needed a Baldwin door re-keyed and 6 new keys made. I had the new lock and new keys in place with in 20 mins. Another 8 mins to get the invoice written up and pay and I was all set. Tested the new lock as requested by Nathan and everything worked just like a charm. We were about to get our house tented because we have the (mis)fortune of living in a heavy-tree populated area which tends to attract termites & part of tenting, apparently, is that you must open all vaults and locks in your house. Because I have awesome timing, the day before we were supposed to get the house tented which was also the day before we would be leaving for vacation to avoid said tenting situation I inadvertently pressed some button on a built in cabinet/dresser in the walk in closet as I was getting ready to leave for work. We have 5 exterior doors and they all had separate locks. And some of the deadbolts didn't match the color and design of the handles. Just returned from a nice dinner with my wife at Maggianos. We walked because it was a nice brisk night and it is close by. She was catching the red-eye at LAX so we had about a half hour until we needed to leave for the airport. The darn deadbolt finally got the best of me. Not only was it sticking but my key started to bend in the lock from the added pressure. I saw that the key was breaking after I removed it from the lock and when I tried to straighten it, bam, it fell apart in my hand. Good thing it didn't break off in the lock though!
