A1Retouching was established in 2008. The history, background and knowledge, though, is based on 20 years of professional studio experience and dates back to 1991. That's when the founder/owner of A1Retouching started to learn the great art of retouching with an actual brush on transparent film that was then used for screen-printing - that knowledge is still a valuable advantage towards competitors! Today, A1Retouching is -still- a small business. We're trying very hard to gain ground and to establish a loyal clientele - and to eventually -hopefully- at one point being able to offer an extra position for another professional.

With A1Retouching you found the one stop location in Rochester, NY, that can and will deliver high end results proven by many successful retouching and restoration projects for both world renowned companies and artists as well as the private person.
I will be the only person working for you on your treasured images. That gives me the confidence your images will exceed your expectations.
My knowledge and background is based on 30 years of experience working in professional studio environments both in Germany and the United States.
You name it, I did it: From regular photos, Polaroids, printed (screened) images, to slides & negatives of different sizes, paintings done with water colors or oil, and even X-rays of various sizes.
Almost anything imaginable - and sometimes seemingly impossible - was done to perfection and to the client's utmost satisfaction.
