Well, when you are in 'Baghdad' Indiana (as my Boo likes to refer to it), you won't be getting any access to a Lyft nor an Uber!!! I mean, we sat for an hour or more watching the Lyft Driver Tracker to see if someone would pick up the request!! When we realized it was simply not gonna happen, I jumped on Yelp and started looking for an alternate solution! And, low and behold, Chancey's Magic Cab appeared in the Top 10 results! How refreshing it was to get an actual human being on the phone to address my call! Wow! That was the first impressing thing I noticed! Then, I called needing a ride ASAP, and CMC was able to accommodate immediately!! Say what now??? I am feeling really good about this! I was so excited, I forgot to ask for details! With Lyft and 'them' (aka Uber), you know who will be picking you up, the make & model of their car, can track how long it takes until they arrive, etc. as it appears on the screen! This transaction was all the way old school! So, I called back and asked, how will I know when the driver will be here? The Dispatcher, who was very polite and kind, said, "Matt is your driver, and I gave him your number and name, and he will call you once he gets close." As simple as that! As stated, Matt did call when he was 5 minutes away! My Love really enjoyed the drive with Matt! He was accommodating, friendly, and kind! Provided great conversation along the way! Upon meeting him outside I discovered that he does not take credit cards, a mistake on my part as I had called other cab companies beforehand to compare prices and some of the other guys did take credit cards. He didn't have any problem stopping off at a gas station on the way so I could use the ATM. I arrived at my destination without incident and all was well. Even though there wasn't anything special or eventful that would make me go out of my way to rave about them, the simple fact that it was uneventful and the driver being on time and polite was plenty to appreciate.

Time passed and I reached back out to dispatch because no one showed. The dispatch tells me driver left because he called me and a guy answered and said they didn't order a taxi. Not even 5 mins later the driver finally calls the correct number and says he is now in West Lafayette and it's traffic so my tardiness is basically not his problem.
