I chose my frames and came back when they were ready. I tried them on and mentioned blurry vision in my right eye. The tech said eyes work in pairs and said it was normal. I maintained that something was wrong. She suggested I talk to the optometrist which I agreed. The optometrist had gone home for the day. I then left without taking the glasses thinking it would be easier to process a return if I never accepted defective goods because technically they were already paid. I came back when the optometrist was available. She never checked my eyes and sent me back to the techs. After telling them my vision was still blurry in my right eye they suggested processing a return. While processing the return I found notes left by the original tech that weren't exactly accurate that didn't exactly describe me in a favorable light. Everyone I encountered seemed a bit overworked and unprofessional. At a different location I even witnessed a tech yell at a customer saying "you have to use your phone to check in dear! Phones... they really are the way of the future!" I was cordial, I never cut anyone off. I communicated what I was seeing. I was nothing but respectful the entire time. I decided on a complete return only after they suggested it. I will not be buying glasses from Costco in the future. It's clear they don't pay or appreciate their staff enough for them to care and get something done right.

I was just there on dollar day when they do not "unbox" items for you but they insist that you don't go through your cart to look at the items closely because they are only $1. Their new policy of insisting you not leave your cart even 3 feet from the bins is also ridiculous. There's a traffic jam of carts and I was trying to get out of the way of the traffic jam up to help alleviate the situation, but I get yelled at. Today the owner also seemed to put down the $1 day shoppers in favor of those who come on the first day. Insisting that we shouldn't look at our items because $12 items were being put out and might get broken. I had heard about it, but I had my regular places I went to for suits and nice clothes. I know where I will go from now on. There are so many brands of outstanding fashion designers for men there and the selection was endless. Everything was very reasonably priced. The colors and patterns were not typical of navy, black, and tan. They jumped right off the clothes. There were bright, vivacious colors that you don't see at Brooks Brothers or Bacharach. The only thing more impressive than the selection and quality of the clothing was the service I received. OMG, Wendy not only knew all the brands, how they fit, and what sizes were available, but it was like she could read my mind about what went well together and what would be comfortable for me. It was like she knew my measurements by just looking at me. The only issue I had was that I didn't allow myself enough time. I purchased some shoes; I was not walking out empty-handed, but I definitely will be coming back again, and again, and again. The thing I really enjoyed and appreciated was Wendy's attitude. She was dressed to the 9's, very professional, she knew the products in and out, she was informative and not salesy or pushy. I felt very comfortable and trusted her advice. By the way she was dressed, I knew she had the kind of taste I like in clothing. Sharp, neat, respectful, but also fun. If I'm honest, the cherry on the sundae was her smile. She looked happy to be there and like she enjoyed her profession. It's hard in retail to find a salesperson in a store, period, one that wants to be there and is helpful, good luck. That's what I had, good luck, because I had the privilege of having her assistance. I am excited to go back, I will make sure I have a lot of time and make some space in my closet. It's family owned so the dad, mom & daughter showed up in their pickup truck and got to work. They are clearly used to working together because they had things set up in a jif. They kept me informed via text when they would be arriving. I asked for lights since it was going to be a night activity and they provided large globe lights that lit up the tent with a great look. Everyone oohed and ahhed when I plugged them in. The tables & chairs were clean and their prices were reasonable. I'd use them again if I need a tent or other items.
