Scheduled a ride to the airport and taxi was early for pick up, friendly and efficient. Will absolutely book again for any of my ride needs.

Marshall was friendly, fast and helpful. His vehicle was very clean and had no odors (unlike the other taxi I used while in Hilo). Upon seeing the available cabs when looking for one to take me to my hotel from the airport, I decided to try and find one that didn't smoke, or at least not in their cab with all the windows rolled up! There is a reason Marshall has the highest reviews on Yelp! It's because he IS the best. He was prompt, courteous and honest. At one point we neared an intersection and he told me that turning right was the shorter route but due to construction it would take a lot longer and would end up costing me more, or we could go straight and it would be 1/2 - 3/4 miles longer but would save possibly nearly an hour without the construction traffic. He asked which is preferred! I chose the route without construction. That evening back at the hotel some new made friends from the tour I took were complaining that they almost missed the hike because they say in traffic for 45 minutes on the way their! If you need a taxi while in Hilo, you'd be an idiot not to choose Marshall! read more

Marshall is the BEST! We call him every time we visit Big Island. He is always on time, even in the wee hours of the morning. He is friendly, courteous, and always has stories to tell. I requested a pickup and the estimated pickup time was 20-25 minutes. After an hour and a half we decided to stay home. I called back, no answer. Left a message to cancel the pickup. No callback or apology. Pretty shameful. read more

I called Marshall the day before and asked him to meet me at the bus stop as I had to pick up my car at Matson. He said he would and asked me to call him just before I arrived. I got off a bit too soon and asked him to pick me up at the parking lot and it seemed that he had been waiting for me at the bus stop. He dropped me right in front of the gate. I had had a harrowing bus ride for the first segment (mean bus driver - oh well) after having to catch the bus at 4:45 AM arriving in Hilo at 10:10 AM. When Marshall showed up it was a true relief and he was very considerate even though it was just a short trip/fare for him. Highly recommend him. read more

Great service, would highly recommend! Had to book taxi service for my daughter to the airport. He contacted me several times to reconfirm the booking and to let me know he was on his way. Marshall is a great, kind local Hawaiian, born and raised! It was easy to arrange a ride and he picked us up right in time. We had some trash we had to take to the transfer station before our flight at 7:30am, but the stations don't open until 6 or 7am so Marshall offered to take it for us at no extra charge. Marshall was awesome! I wanted to view the lava down in Kalapana, and while uber may take you there they won't pick you back up. The last bit of road is also very rough so you may not want to drive it in a rental. I was lucky to find Marshall who took me for the tour and came back to get me. He was waiting for me when I finished. He is Hawaiin born, raised and part Native Hawaiin too and so very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. Marshall is great. Prompt, friendly, returns phone calls and even made sure to get my flight number to track my incoming flight. Not only did he arrive early to the airport to pick me up, but was incredibly friendly and had tons of great stories. I needed to be back at the airport a few hours later, and he was also able to get me back there on time no problem. Marshall's Taxi was very accomodating during my recent stay in Hilo March 2013. Unkle Marshall is very professional and loves to provide history lessons about Hilo on every ride. I traveled from Oahu for work. The car rental find were scarce due to the Hilo Marathon happening at the same time. I was staying in a private house about 15 minutes above downtown. I called and untilized this taxi service 5-6 times during my stay. Uncle Marshall was always on time and got me to my destination safely. He grew up in Hilo and knows Hilo better than anyone. Marshall was awesome! My boyfriend and I were catching a helicopter tour before taking the bus to Kona and so Marshall drove us back and forth to the airport and then to downtown throughout the day.
