This involved removing sheetrock, cutting pipes, installing new valves, then replacing the sheetrock, applying plaster and texture, and finally painting. This was way above my pay grade, so I reached out to Steve. Within minutes, he got back to me. He asked for photos and provided an estimate with a range, depending on the complexity of what they found. Steve sent his crew over just a few hours later to begin the project. Victor and Edgar arrived, and within minutes, the Sawzall was going to town on our wall. I'll admit, I had my reservations, but it quickly became clear that these guys knew what they were doing. Each phase required a return visit to allow the individual coats of plaster to dry, etc. Our water was only turned off for about an hour or so during the entire project, and the finished product was very good. We're now considering TVC for other projects. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

They truly helped guide us through the process so we didn't have any surprises and helped us navigate any hiccups that came up. Normally, construction companies get a bad rap of being dishonest and trying to add in hidden fees and such, but Construction & More is a truly forthcoming and hardworking group of contractors who have your best interest at heart when it comes to your project no matter how big or small. For the process itself, we began with a consultation at our home to walk through the work we wanted the Construction & More team to do. For us, it was a full renovation which included removing a kitchen wall to create an open concept kitchen & living room, adding a mud room, expanding the master bedroom, moving the front and garage doors, as well as moving the ceilings to create a more open space. After the consultation was completed, we met with Avi & Joseph at their office to discuss an estimate and timeline for the work we needed done about (6-months time, pending no delays). Avi & Joseph respected our budget and were upfront and honest of how to stay within the budget and what were non-negotiables that we needed to get done. They really helped us understand what work was critical and what were nice to have to make our living space better. Once we agreed on the work, they promptly sent over a contract for signature, created a whatsapp group for real time communication, and next steps. Overall this initial process took about a week after negotiations and contract reviews. Once construction began, the team coordinated all the work. They made sure that all moving parts were well executed while setting a realistic timeline for the work to be done. All the subcontractors and tradesmen were effectively scheduled, where there wasn't a single day where there was no work being done. I felt that the team ensured that the construction was moving swiftly and the crew was respectful of our space. The crew made sure that our home was properly locked up and cleaned up after each day's work. Additionally, all the detailed finishing work was measured and completed with precision, where all the tiles placed were measured with a laser. As a bonus, the crew was also super respectful to our neighbors which is an extra plus!
