From beginning to end, our points of contact, Avi & Joseph have gone above and beyond for our project, walking us through the planning phases, permitting, design, construction and finishing work of the renovation. They were able to make a normally very stressful process almost stress-free, so much so that all I had to do was say "yes or no" when it came to key decisions. The Construction & More team took lead in the painful parts of dealing with permitting, PG&E, and subcontractors. They also got us in contact with their preferred vendors to help us with discounts on appliances, finishes and other materials we needed to purchase out of pocket. Overall, I found the Construction & More team extremely professional, transparent, organized, communicative and punctual when it came to the end-to-end process. They truly helped guide us through the process so we didn't have any surprises and helped us navigate any hiccups that came up. Normally, construction companies get a bad rap of being dishonest and trying to add in hidden fees and such, but Construction & More is a truly forthcoming and hardworking group of contractors who have your best interest at heart when it comes to your project no matter how big or small. For the process itself, we began with a consultation at our home to walk through the work we wanted the Construction & More team to do. For us, it was a full renovation which included removing a kitchen wall to create an open concept kitchen & living room, adding a mud room, expanding the master bedroom, moving the front and garage doors, as well as moving the ceilings to create a more open space. After the consultation was completed, we met with Avi & Joseph at their office to discuss an estimate and timeline for the work we needed done about (6-months time, pending no delays). Avi & Joseph respected our budget and were upfront and honest of how to stay within the budget and what were non-negotiables that we needed to get done. They really helped us understand what work was critical and what were nice to have to make our living space better. Once we agreed on the work, they promptly sent over a contract for signature, created a whatsapp group for real time communication, and next steps. Overall this initial process took about a week after negotiations and contract reviews. Once construction began, the team coordinated all the work. They made sure that all moving parts were well executed while setting a realistic timeline for the work to be done. All the subcontractors and tradesmen were effectively scheduled, where there wasn't a single day where there was no work being done. I felt that the team ensured that the construction was moving swiftly and the crew was respectful of our space. The crew made sure that our home was properly locked up and cleaned up after each day's work. Additionally, all the detailed finishing work was measured and completed with precision, where all the tiles placed were measured with a laser. As a bonus, the crew was also super respectful to our neighbors which is an extra plus! If you're considering a renovation of any size, but especially a full home renovation, I could not rave more about Construction & More. If you are looking for a contractor, hire this company. I contacted three companies on Yelp and eventually hired Construction & More to do a bathroom remodel and was very happy with this Oren and his crew. My remodel included a complete redo of a second bathroom, including changing shower/tub to walk in shower. Their price was competitive but keep in mind it is for labor and design, and you must buy everything else including paint and grout. So, you need to factor that into your budget, but that gives you flexibility - do you want a $2,000 Toto bidet or a basic toilet? Simple mirror or $1,700 Madeli LED mirror? But the design team helps you develop a complete shopping list so you can buy the right items for your budget. Don't discount the design work up, it is a huge benefit. When we redid our bathroom years ago, there were no 3D renderings to preview the design. But Construction & More has a design team that meets with you and helps you develop colors, styles, finishes, and eventually puts together a 3D rendering so you can see if you like your choices or not. Big help. Other companies charge you separate but Construction & More builds this cost into their estimate (kinda like salad coming with the dinner and not having to buy it ala carte). It's a huge help in making your decisions. But you also must factor this phase into your timeline because it can go slow or fast depending on your design choices and re-designs. It took us about 7-10 days to finalize the design and shopping list. Oren promised a 4-week completion and he stuck to his word. In fact, 90% of the construction work was done in 3 weeks. The glass takes a longer because the sub will only measure after tile is installed, and then it takes about 2 weeks to fabricate and install the glass. Other than that, some punch list items dragged on but that's to be expected. At least Oren was very receptive and willing to work with us on items we pointed out (rather than get defensive and refuse to fix stuff). All in all, I would definitely hire Construction & More and work with Oren and his crew again on my next job. read more

Shai and co. helped us build our dream kitchen. Shai came by and I knew he was the right person to do the job. He was the only person, out of 4 other contractors, who came by and let me know what the optimal layout for our kitchen would be. The idea I proposed to him simply wouldn't be to code, and he let us know what the better options would be. He gave us a quote that was very fair for a lot of work. We also gave him a very tight deadline and he accepted the challenge. They ended up doing all new electrical, completely new kitchen from top to bottom, hallway floors, and bathroom floors. They were able to completely erase any shoddy craftsmanship from the house. What we ended up with was better than we could have ever imagined. To find them I did a project request through Yelp and got a response the same day that they could come for a quote. The company was very responsive to us through the entire process, even responding to us on nights and weekends. They helped with the design and gave us great recommendations based on the existing floorplan. The photo-realistic design images they provided with the materials we picked was a big help to make it easier to visualize what it would look like before we even ordered any of the materials. Marlon did a fabulous job with flooring. His attention to detail was great. Everybody in the construction team were very nice. One thing I want to call out is the construction crew's sincerity, they were there at the doorstep at 7.30-8am everyday. I really appreciate Avi and Joseph's sincerity, because they suggested to retain our existing solid wood cabinets in kitchen, they could have replaced the cabinets and charged us more but they dint. Also they suggested installing decorative panels behind the island which we dint even think about. We just finished a large extension project of our home with Construction & More. We had the good fortune to work with a very well co-ordinated and thoughtful team that was extremely responsive as well. This was a bigger than average job on an older home, some miscommunication, so there were definitely a handful of hiccups along the way, which led to the 2 month timeline being extended by 2 weeks. All of our friends and family were surprised it was still done so quickly. I appreciated Joseph and Avi being quick to respond to each hiccup and resolving things as soon as possible. They are very quick and reliable to reach through Whatsapp and phone. The workers were all amiable and got things done. They helped haul things away, they cleaned up after themselves, and they were open to my requests when I wanted details a certain way. That being said, if you want your renovation exactly -- you will have to carve out time to manage the construction in the day-to-day. After the construction, I wanted to give myself time to move back in and live in the home before posting a review. For the most part, the construction is good. So happy I found Construction & More on yelp! My family and I were looking for a trusted company who could help us remodel our home as we had never remodeled our home prior to this. We extended our master bedroom by 300 sq.ft. and added a master bathroom and a walk in closet (yay!) prior to this we only had 1 shared bathroom in our home so this was soo nice to have. We also had carpet in our living room and bedrooms and we decided to replace the entire flooring in our home to give it that modern look we've been wanting. I love it! They were no property damage during the demolition process. The dust levels were kept to a minimum and maintained a well organized and clean environment during this process, which we really appreciated. We had the pleasure to work with Construction & More for adding ~225 SQ FT to our house in backyard, remodel 2 bedrooms, add walk-in closet, add a new bathroom and remodel existing master bathroom. We had the project designed with an independent architect and we found Construction & More. We met Avi for the quote and met Avi and Joseph for the complete scope of work at their office, we instantly decided to work with them mainly due to the confidence in their assurance of getting job done in 3-4 months and competitive price. Besides having some existing problems in old walls, as we had designed this with an independent architect, we had to make some changes during construction. Avi and Joseph were flexible to accommodated those changes with change orders. One of the best thing that impressed us was punctuality of the crew, crew was always at site by 8 am and leave depending on work completion for the day. Crew sometimes did come on Saturday / Sunday to get job done sooner and coverup any delays in inspection. All the foreman with whom we interacted were professional and completed job professionally. They do come back for the left over items which were identified after the main job was completed. We had been window shopping much before we started designing (to find matching material for the new extension with existing house material), so we went with our own vendors for fixtures but every vendor recommended by Construction & More speaks highly of them whether it be window, glass doors, tiles, baseboards, etc. Alex helped us in interior design of bathrooms, her designs were creative and her color combination recommendations really helped us find the right material from different economic vendors. The job was completed as committed within 3-4 months before rainy reason starts. Overall our project managers (Avi and Joseph), interior designer (Alex), foremans , photographers and back-office team were exceptional throughout the entire process. We highly recommend Construction and More for any renovation project. For any readers, in the construction work, one of the important lesson we have learned over a period of time (through various projects), always document all important details in the final plan / contract. This will help prevent any misunderstandings, assumptions or oversights during the construction process. If we were to do this project again, one thing we would do different is hire in-house Construction & More Architect! Even though Avi & Joseph has been flexible to accommodate changes, IMO having Architect from same contractor would make special inspection and any other changes much more smoother! read more

Tal and his team were professional, easy to work with, and delivered amazing results. From the start, Tal worked with us to design our ideal bathroom. He was conscious of our budget and provided design services and consultations on anything from tile/grout to bathroom fixtures. After a comprehensive design, including renderings, we were impressed by the speed of delivery of the construction. Not only was Tal's team able to deliver a quality product, they were also responsive to feedback on our end. If we wanted something touched up or a little different, they were happy to oblige. We just finished the remodel of our master bathroom with Construction & More, and we love the result! Our first consultation was with Joseph and he guided us through the whole process. They take care of all permits and everything went through inspection without any problems. Before the works started Mary created a nice 3D design so you can visualise the new bathroom.
