I live in the Minneapolis, MN area and told them I had already had my roof done and that I was not interested in it. The salesperson persisted and would not listen to me. Once I confirmed the company name, he said "yes, that's right", then I let him know I was on the do not call list and not interested. He got even more disrespectful and tried to act like I was the unreasonable one. While it is possible that this company is not directly the manager of this salesperson (they may have outsourced it) they do need to better vet their salespeople even if it isn't their own employee regardless. I even went to report the phone number to the FTC and get this, the phone number isn't even registered! That sales guy is using an unregistered phone number... I really EOT sees this and takes this more seriously. I am getting like 12 calls a week still after my roof was done last Fall from an August 11th storm. Again, I am on the Do Not Call list and try to tell every sales person I am not interested right away. They need to train their people better and better vet their people or how they get appointments.

AND he made a false review about me at my work, trying to get me fired! As you can see in his response attacking someone with their personal name and location. Go read his other 1 star reviews that are buried under friends reviews, especially the one in Texas. It really is hard finding good work these days.. Should be reported to BBB, FTC and the IL Attorney General due to § 465.7 Review Suppression law for making a false accusation about the reviewer . Tom quoted me $15k for the roof. I declined gutters and the upgraded shingles etc due to lots of medical expenses for my son. During tare off they had no regard for my gutters and tore them off/destroyed them and left. My fasica had gaps in it and Tom didnt think to seal the exposed interior of my home, allowing birds and other animals to go into my attic and remove insulation/make nests. I have pictures of it all, and it rained that night.. He left a job site unsecured and open to elements, a professional would NEVER do that. I called and asked why they left and to come back to seal the exposed places. FOUR DAYS later with an open home to elements and excuse after excuse a gutter company came and put up gutters. He would not tell me price, and then when he did and I disagreed with the price he emailed me at midnight to tell me I was right and it was a "mistake." Originally the cost of gutters was $1800, well now it was almost $4K! and charged me $1800 for gutter guards! I had done gutter guards last year for $600.. But they destroyed those also while removing roof. So when I asked "how did this 15k roof become $23k??" his response was "I would never do a roof for 15k" When it came time for supplimentals he sent me a picture of a pile of shingles on the ground. Insurance was not happy, I asked for pics of the damage to fascia so insurance will adjust cost and to install missing trim he left off my home. Im still waiting for a response.. And insurance wont do anything without proof/pics. He also has in the contract if you leave a bad review he will fine you $2000 and take you to court where you will pay for all character damages and court costs! YEA THATS ILLEGAL per the Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016!

The first roofing crew were at the house at 7am and thought to be doing good until my neighbor caught them drinking beer early that afternoon. So they were shut down. The second crew came and completed the job a few days later. So materials were bought and a crew of workers started inside the house. First the demo, then putting in new sheetroc, texturing the walls and stomping ceilings. They remodeled two bathrooms, put in ceramic tile flooring throughout the house, added crown molding and baseboards, also trim around windows and doors, and everything was to be painted. There were also two different crews that did the interior work, but this time the first was better than the second. So the sheetroc and texture was good from the 1st crew and then they were pulled off the job and sent elsewhere (I don't know why because my brother and his wife were pleased with the progress and work). Then the 2nd crew comes in and this is where it all goes downhill. These guys framed in the showers of both bathrooms with door trim and didn't cut the corners at 45 degree angles. On one wall, this door trim was installed as the baseboard, which looked ridiculous. The crown molding throughout the house was installed with corners crooked or not meeting because their carpentry skills were awful. They, apparently didn't know the difference between using painters caulk and 100% silicone, because silicone was used everywhere (instead of only in kitchen and bathrooms) and in excessive amounts. It was messy and quite a bit was on the new ceramic floor which wasn't cleaned. One could not tell the flooring was new because paint drips, along with caulk, silicone and mortar were left throughout the house on the newly installed ceramic tile floors. There were spaces on the floor where the the grout wasn't evenly distributed so because the grout lines weren't completely filled it looked terrible. And to top it all off, the grout haze wasn't wiped off clean nor were any of the floors sealed. It was a complete mess! These guys weren't professional painters. There was wall paint on the crown molding and baseboards, trim paint on the ceilings, some ceilings weren't even painted. The rooms were only painted with one coat of paint obviously, because there wasn't enough coverage. The bathrooms were painted with flat paint which made the walls look dull. A professional painter knows you should always use semi-gloss paint in the wet areas (kitchens and baths). Flat finish paint is usually the cheapest you can buy. On top of all of this extremely messy, careless and unprofessional work, they didn't complete the job. The workers walked off the job one day, saying that Robert Covey wasn't paying them. This left one room that only had a few rows of tile installed on the floor and that's it...no molding installed around the closet, entry door or window. The window wasn't even framed out...no baseboards or crown molding installed. The job was completely incomplete! This job was paid in full before the work ever started (which is always a huge mistake!). But this man, Robert Covey, had the nerve to start harassing my family for more money and threatening to put a lien on their house if they didn't pay.
