Needed to get to a medical facility Monday, June 12th with a broken wrist that was temporarily in a brace. Driver would not take my credit card and asked if I had Velle which i do not use and told me it was $ 97.00. I paid him $ 115.00 cash as t did not have smaller bills with me and i did want to tip him.On the way back I used Uber which was only $ 51.44 complete with tip and booking fees. I checked out what the fee would have been if I used Uber in the first place and it was the same as my return. TOTAL RIPOFF by AA Taxi - Nyack, and I had used them many times before. Called this morning at 11 am and ordered a car to pick me up at Newark airport with my 2 children. They took my name, flight and phone number and promised to meet outside baggage claim. When the plane landed they were nowhere to be found, and claimed not to have my appointment. I will never use this company again. read more

TERRIBLE. NEVER AGAIN. I took this taxi from Nyack to Newark Airport. The cars are dangerous. They are unsafe to drive or to be a passenger in. The cars have no suspension, the seats are shot, the windows to not go down, the defroster does not work. $100 to Newark, plus tip. The driver speeds like crazy. I called to speak to the boss, but he refused to take the call or to call me back. They did pick me up on time in Nyack. read more

I am a traveler with a guide dog totally blind and I travel everywhere with her. Oh my cab came to pick me up and he told me no dog and I try to explain that he has to take me. I have used AA Taxi for over 15 years--found it was better for me than the two other Nyack companies. A week ago I made an emergency call at 2:30am for a cab to Newark Airport. The cab came and the cost was lower than the 3 city companies my son had called. (He had reserved with one of them and they failed to send the cab!) Told AA we would leave the porch light on; we called when the cab was not outside and the dispatcher told us the cab was at the bottom of our hill; cab then came up and my son was so pleased with the trip to the airport that he asked for AA's number to use them again. BTW, we tried Airbrook, which had been highly recommended, to and from Newark Airport. The first trip was fine; the return trip was a disaster--the air conditioning malfunctioned, the driver was new and had us walk with him to the airport parking lot where he had parked the cab (we didn't realize that was where he was leading us)! We went back to using AA. read more
