Everything went well. A+ on service and price. They beat B&R all day every day by like hundreds of dollars. I got a tow from corvallis to albany's crab tree automotive. $166. They couldn't fix it so Charlie's towed my lifted duramax to oregon fuel Injection in eugene. $395 B&R would have cost me over $1000 bucks for sure. They always try to overprice me at B&R. AA towing company knows what they are doing.. Complaints of over charginging do not take into overhead to run a business. Insurance costs are very high for tow trucks and vehicle recovery Man hours labor costs. Tow trucks are very expensive to purchase. Equipment maintenance for trucks and other equipment used in towing and storage facility. Property costs like insurance taxes and property maintenance. Towed in cars, trucks and other stuff that has to be dealt with like disposal. There is more overhead like paying all the city,county, State and federal fees, licences. Being available 24hrs a day with the people and equipment Running a tow company is a very tough as far as frustrations to the operators . Absolutely ridiculous experience. My boyfriend and I had a rough night trying to get back home 30 minutes away when his car battery died. In a panic we called the towing company to try and get help. On the phone the operator told us about the fees which we were okay with but NEVER said what would happen if it didn't work. All the car needed was a jump box and the one this guy brought did not work at all. We called his insurance and someone came and quickly jumped the car for us in a minute. Clearly this guy came not prepared with a uncharged jumper box and made us pay for the fee for him to come out in the first place which ended up being 200 dollars. Rude staff with nothing but bs to spew. They towed a vehicle that i had sold years back and sent me a letter. I called to see what I could do and they told me to call APD. I did and went to the dmv to get a print out showing that I had reported it sold. The ladies at the office refused to take that letter that they had asked for then they called the manager. He comtinued to give me the run around stating that "Oregon Law doesnt allow them to" for everything i was asking but he couldnt tell me which law and why the police had instructed me to do exactly what i was trying to. They just want to try to make money off of storage and tow fees and sending things to collectoons when we could have worked together to make the process faster for everyone. We were told 650-740 from two local Salem companies and when we called AA out of Albany they towed our vehicle from Salem to Albany and dropped it at the car dealer for 250 The driver was so friendly and the tow truck was very new and high end and was able to get our truck out of a tight spot effortlessly. My car was totaled and AE turned 3 days into $750 in storage. I had to sign over my car. I told them it's worth more than $750. They acted like they called someone else and said, "No, that's all she's worth." Three months later I get a letter in the mail where they have auctioned my vehicle at $2000 and listed the storage fees as $1100. Why did you charge me $750 for 3 days. But for three months it's only $350. AE then have the nerve to call me and say, it's just a technicality and not worry about the amount it was auctioned for. I was taken aback and didn't say anything. It was off the whole time, from beginning to end. Because it's a small town they can get away with this type of predatory behavior. read more

I want to preface this with I definitely screwed up by getting my car towed in first place. That being said the crew I was forced to deal are both immensely rude and two faced. When my car was first towed, I had all of my belonging in it everything I own. When I went to pick some of my things up they gave me a huge amount of hassle and hostility. Their "policy" also says if valuables are visible said car is to be stored inside. To my suprise my car was outside no where near any cameras. Further more when I went to retrieve my car I politely requested to speak with someone about reducing the f***ing crazy high "Storage fees" but the female I dealt with instead gave me the run for a long while. When she came back in her and another employing were straight talking shit, about 'ah that should shut him up.' In short this establishment has no respect or integrity for customers, students, national gaurd soldiers and people just stuck in a shitty position. I'm sure people have better luck with these wet rags known as human beings. However, others on their bad side expect to be treated like shit and mocked. I hope the employs responsible read this and take it to heart. I don't mean to be rude but holy shit. As for the owner if you were even contacted pardon me. Recently sold a junk car to them we were told they would give us 75$ for the car. Well the check was only 25$. When we called and asked why he then proceeded to tell us "its $75 if you bring it to us 50$ if we have to come and it get but since I'm letting you keep the tires its only 25$." I completely understand that however it would of been awful nice if we were told from the beginning. Now what REALLY throws me over the edge is they gave the check to the wrong fu*cking people and I had to knock on random peoples door to receive the check. My car was towed even though it had insurance, and after the tow fee and the storage fees, they tacked on another 200$ for possesionary fees and labor!?!! Basically making it impossible for me to get my car out of the impound. And it accumulates 55$ A DAY everyday it's in there! I called them to see if I could just sign my car over to them and give them the title and they put me on hold and then told me it would cost $300 and the title to my car just to get my belongings back!!!! AA Towing will not do the right thing. I was told $280 on the phone but when it came down to it I was charged $314. They could not explain the difference even after reviewing the invoice. Most reputable companies would honor their initial quote but not AA Towing. read more

Gabriel and Grady are literally the nicest most professional tow guys I've ever come across. Our car died on the side of I-5 at 930 pm at night; thankfully I had enough juice to pull over to the side, but with not much clearance. I had 2 toddlers and 2 kids in my van and immediately called state patrol so they could wait with us for a tow since semis were literally flying by at 70 mph feet from my drivers side. I'm not sure the name of the guy dispatched first, but when he realized there were 6 people in the car, he quickly dispatched another tow truck. State patrol had to leave, but they moved the tow truck behind our car to ensure we would be save. Once the other truck came they realized we would need both to take us to the motel and so they both patiently waited for AAA to allow both tow trucks to transport us 15 min up the road to a motel. They were very polite and understanding considering my nerves were frayed. They made sure our car could at least get enough power to close our windows. I'm impressed at the customer service and highly recommend this shop for your mechanical and towing needs. Thank you a million times over Gabriel and Grady, you turned one of the worse case scenarios for my family into a bearable experience. I wish you both success in your futures. read more

1 star is 1 star too many. I was astounded at how unsympathetic Dave was to my situation when my car got towed and I had to pick it up from this company. Not only are their fees outrageous, but when given the chance to give me my car back the same night it was towed, Dave chose to make me wait until the next morning and then proceeded to charge me an additional $100 fee for "storage and gate fee" to get it. I cant believe that a company could be so money hungry that they treat a person on vacation with such disregard. Shame on you.....Andrea from AZ read more
