Ordered new tires for my RAV4 they had them in a day and notified me. Went in first thing next morning and they had the new tires mounted and ready to go in about 30 minutes. Said they couldn't install used tires on my vehicle, which had very little tread wear and tried to sell me a new set of tires at an outrages cost. I went to a local tire competitor who gladly and easily installed my tires and said they tires where in real nice condition and didn't know why Beggs wouldn't install them. Honestly the best customer service I've ever had at a tire shop, we got an amazing price on tires for my husbands F-150. We lived in AZ and before we left to OR we got quoted over $1,500 for new tiers. They did a great job on the tires! I brought my Buick in when I ran over a huge nail and it got stuck, they patched it up quick and didn't charge me. We got a small hole in the truck tire a few months later and we were in CA, the guy charged me $30 for a quick patch. So I really recommend coming here for tires. We also got new brakes and rotors a few months after the tires because the price was just great, I gave them a quick call about the Ford Dealership here in AZ saying we needed new brakes already, which I thought was weird as it's been less than a year and under 25k miles, they assured me the brakes and rotors we got should be good until 80k-100k. They even gave me the name of a shop to get a second opinion down here in Chandler to check the brakes. So even though they know I'm not in Albany anymore they still have wonderful customer service!!! read more

So I'm up dating my experience with Beggs tires In albany. So as I was saying before. My experience there due to one person who is not the best but I just found out that that person no longer works there. Plus I got to talk to one of the owners and again like I said this is just an experience of one person not everyone. Experience; I've talking to management, owners and had a tremendous and absolutely awesome experience and as before I highly recommend this place because the people that have helped me that I've had good experiences with know what they're doing. A flat tire on southbound I-5, 500+ miles away from home, isn't a great way to start the return leg of a road trip. But because Beggs Tire & Wheel was just a couple of miles away, what could have been an absolute disaster turned into a mere inconvenience. As we limped into Beggs Tire & Wheel on our spare tire, my wife and I expected to be there most of the morning. We were pleasantly surprised that they were able to patch our flat tire in about a half an hour - right before a holiday weekend, no less. However, what left us truly dumbfounded was the fact that they refused to accept payment, wishing us nothing but safe travels on the rest of our journey. We are indebted to the generosity and good customer service that Beggs Tire & Wheel provided to us. And what is more, we weren't the only beneficiaries of a good deed that day - as they were patching up our tire, we saw one of the mechanics help out some local transients by sharing some tools and helping them fix a busted bicycle. Truly, Albany OR couldn't possibly have a better ambassador than this business. read more

They are reliable, honest, fast, have great customer service, and decently priced. Once I had a flat and instead of explaining to me what happened in the waiting room, the mechanics took me out to the work area to show me exactly what happened and what options I had. These folks are great! I stopped in yesterday afternoon with a screw stuck in my left, front tire. They got me right into a bay and made the repair in very short order after we finally located the locking key in my trunk compartment to one of the lug nuts. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. After having a flat tire on my truck, I looked on yelp for the best tire place in Albany. Les Schwab quoted me for over $1,200 for new Michelin tires. When I called Beggs, they were able to find used Michelin tires the exact same size I was looking for for around $450. The tires only had 1,000 miles on them and Beggs got it done that same day. They also gave me a new rim for my spare tire since it was rusted so bad. I will definitely come back to Beggs next time I need tires for any of my cars. read more

A winter storm hit the entire northwest, and my car just could not get up the hill to my house. I called around to find snow tires, and almost everywhere said it would be 2-3+ days to get the tires in (of course demand was through the roof!). Beggs got me in the same day and within 30 minutes had installed Toyo Celsius tires on my car. (They were not cheap, but the price was comparable to what I was quoted elsewhere - again, demand is high!) I could feel the difference the minute I drove away! I got up the hill and to my house no problem. I feel much safer on the road and that's worth everything. I'm grateful for their fast attention, skill, and friendliness. Disappointing customer service experience at Albany Beggs. Felt ignored and like they didn't care about my business. Been to Beggs in Albany multiple times to gets tires and wheels for multiple vehicles. They have two special parking spots right in front of their business for vehicles that need to go in to their service bays. In the past, I have had employee's come out to me in my vehicle while in these spots to find out what kind of service I was needing. This day I wasted a lot of my time and got no service finding out that it is not a consistent practice of their customer service. This day, I was the second car in the spots and it was ten minutes before they opened. The day before (6 business hours earlier), after getting 4 new tires, they ordered some front brake calipers for me and I said I would be in the next morning to have them put on. I was disappointed. After they fill up the last two bays with vehicles that showed up after I did (5 minutes after opening, I went in to verify that they still provide service on a first come first serve. The lady tells me I'm correct, and that as a matter of fact, they had actually been having a conversation just few minutes ago about me sitting out there. But apparently I need to initiate the conversation with an employee and tell them I am there and then they will get me in line for servicing. (And that would make perfect sense to me except my past experience with customer service practices where they've greeted me out in the servicing spots and that I was there talking with them about how I would be back the next morning so they could put the parts they were ordering for me on.) It felt like I forgot to dot my lower case 'j'... It is a unique car that they just put tires on 20 hours earlier, I had conversations with the mechanic, the guy doing tires, and the guy at the front desk the day before about the brake calipers. I really feel like they knew exactly why I was there, they'd been talking about me sitting there, and just ignored me. After going inside and getting in the servicing line, my car sat there for another 45 minutes untouched. So I left. Between driving in there and waiting, I spent 2 hours trying to get Beggs to put those brake calipers on with nothing to show for it. To perfectly honest, I'm lazy, but I could have put my own calipers on and bled the brakes in half that time for half the cost. I was the second car there and three vehicles were serviced ahead of me, and my car was never serviced. I really feel like they just didn't give a crap. read more

Wife went in to buy new tires and wheels. Got it home next day one tire was flat, cause the old leaky valve stems were installed in new wheel. I then returned to deal with this and I was met with attitude. Also found out later the wheels rubbed on tie rods when you turn hard. I'm not impressed this was allowed out of there garage. So took it back and the solution was wheel adapters that stuck wheels out 1.5 inches. We were to return at 50, 150, & 500 miles to retorque adapter lugs. My wife went in to have the first retorque done. A week later and another 150 miles she tells me they didn't remove the wheels to torque adapters. Which means they only torqued the wheels to adapters. Not adapters to hub. I called in and asked if I could take it to Salem store. I was told yeah sure at no charge...there is no Salem store. I'm having someone else torque them and I won't be returning to beggs in Albany read more

I hate to say this but you really should go to Les Schwab if you have a flat in Albany. They'll do everything to save you money on the repair or replacement. Awhile after my experience with Beggs I had another tire go flat on me (my tire problems the last little, wowzah). It was early morning and I needed road side assistance to put air in my tire first to get it to the shop. Les Schwab was the ones who responded to me, so I took my car in there to get a new tire. Imagine my shock when a single tire purchase was well under $100 that time around. It bums me out because my beloved Schmucks in Springfield gave me the heads up about Beggs and I was expecting similar service when I went in there. They're very nice folks but incredibly over priced something that growing up with Schmucks, I have gotten too used to. When in doubt, sadly the Schwab is best to go to in Albany to save you about $50 on a new tire. read more

I bought 4 new tires from the Albany location. Eddy was very friendly and assured me that due to my work schedule that I could leave my truck out front in the early morning and they would have it in right away so I could pick it up after my shift. I check in over lunch to find out that no instructions were left, no work order, no invoice and they had no idea why there was a truck in front of their bay. I did mention that I would leave my keys in the fuel door so someone knew to look there as it was moved into the parking lot. The lady I called had no idea even what tires I had purchased or when. Later, a tech calls to inform me that they rub the fender when the wheels are turned. I told him to get it fixed and take care of it. Whatever he had to do as I needed it fixed. Then when I pick it up after work, one of the techs (Steve) stops me because my back tire is flat. They didn't tighten my valve stem after they mounted the new tire and all the air leaked right out. He also informed me that no one trimmed the front fenders at all and that the tires rub. I paid good money for bad service, no communication, false assurance that my problems would be handled and now a potentially damaged rear tire from sitting flat for who knows how long. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Beggs of Albany. read more
