Customer service was terrible . They were rude and I felt like they did not like dealing with older women. Fixed my rear window with a broken used replacement. The defrost was never connected. They did replace the window a second time but charged insurance for the difference in price between the used window replacement with the broken defrost and a new window. I had know idea that the first replacement was out of a wrecking yard and it did not say on the bill that it wasn't new. read more

Bob was rude and tried to get me to use my insurance instead of the person's who hit me because he didn't like working with them. He threatened that the other insurance would force them to use subpar parts and that we would have to pay for labor. This was in direct conflict with what we heard and experienced from the insurance company. In one conversation when we were asking questions he hung up on us after suggesting we might want to take our car elsewhere. We decided and the insurance company agreed and paid for us to tow the car to a different body shop in town to get repaired. DO NOT take your car here. read more

Went in for an estimate for my insurance company. Bob the estimator was extremely short and unpleasant. After he sent the estimate I explained there was something on it that wasn't right and I would like the car to be repaired how it is. I just picked up my wife's convertible mustang and it was damaged and had been driven 10.2 miles when they had it for the week. I met with the owner and he wants computer data from the system to prove his staff did the damage. This car is a garage queen and is seldom driven in the summer and never abused. I'm working with the owner who could make this right but we'll see how that goes next week. I took a photo when I got home with the computer screen and damaged. Miles driven, MPG, time on the road are all listed on the computer system. They also don't document miles before or after the repairs like other shops I talked with today More to come and I hope this can be resolved without litigation. Customers beware I get a resolution on this matter. I'll provide an update next week from Ford and the attorney if necessary. UPDATE: the owner Has now agreed to pay for only one wheel well insert that was damaged during the unauthorized Joy-ride. He excepted me to pay for the other and Allie his staff to do the install. I asked him to do the right thing and pay for both inserts and fix the damages he now accepts 50% of by his staff but he refused. I am seeking other options for appropriate relief and accountability. Potential future Customers BEWARE of unauthorized usage of their vehicles when under their care for repairs. Remember, there are no security cameras on sight and the shop doesn't track mileage before, during or After a project repair is completed. He also said his young son works there, so this may be common practice with not accountability and the customer has to prove the damage wasn't present before the car was there. Recommend you take photos before you drop off and photo of mileage before so you can protect yourself. Be careful with this predatory shop, your vehicle could be abused like mine. read more

Front desk lady friendly and helpful:) Rick looked over my car and saw exactly what was needed and did not add extra fringe costs that two other body shops did. Picked my 2016 Jeep Cherokee up after leaving it 5 days for body work. There was a ding in the driver's side door that wasn't there when I dropped it off. I spoke to the owner and he said that they don't "ding doors" and it had to be preexisting. If this were the case, why didn't his painter call to let me know before clear coating over the ding and the black paint smudge? Why wouldn't I want my brand new car repaired completely? Very poor judgement and customer service! Now the ding and smudge are clear coated over with paint and I'll need to have the whole panel repainted AGAIN to fix it! Don't use these guys!! read more

I rear ended someone in my work truck and was busy for a couple of months and was not able to take my truck into Freebird right away so I called them to let them know so they could note it on my file. The week before I took my truck into them a large construction truck and trailer drove through their office but that did not stop them from doing great work. Normally after accidents you almost always have a little rattle or squeak that you did not have before. I had non of that just a truck in perfect shape again and nicely washed. The service here was amazing. From the friendly office personnel and estimating staff, to the handshake after a job well done. They even have fresh coffee and pastries, large TV and comfortable furniture to sit in if your waiting for a ride. read more

Are you kidding me, Free Bird? You're the best. I rear ended an SUV in my 04 Honda Civic (think the hood was smushed up like an accordion, and the front headlight was smashed in). Rick France was a godsend; he looked over the car thoroughly, explained things in layman's terms (I know NOTHING about cars), and went through the estimate. To be fair, the estimate was around $3300, which was more than half of what I paid for it to begin with. He could see I was visibly upset and gave me some great advice, which was to list it on craigslist as a car that could be rebuilt, rather than sell it to a chop shop which wouldn't pay more than a few hundred. Rick even went so far as to check to see if someone he knew (who was looking for a fixer upper for his daughter) would be interested. You don't get that kind of service many places). In the end, I placed it on craigslist and had two interested buyers within an hour. Ultimately, I ended up trading it in for 2k at a dealership which I put towards a new car. If I ever (holy sh*t let's hope not) rear end anyone else, I'll be back here for sure. read more

Don't even THINK about going here. I got a high quote and the owner wanted to total MY car so he could sell it for parts and make a profit. When I sent him a letter saying he was not allowed to do that he got all irate, refused to work on my car, tried to get me to go in the 'back room' so he could have some thug beat me up. I laughed in his face, took my car to another shop and got a quote 600 dollars less than rip off Freebird. That shop told me my car is not totaled and that Freebird just wanted to sell my car for parts and leave me with nothing. I have filed complaints on them with the BBB and other places. This company is FANTASTIC!!! I have had two different cars worked on at this place, one of them twice now. They do a fantastic job and are very customer service oriented. My car was nearly new when someone turned across traffic right in front of me and I had no choice but to slam on the brakes but hit him with my shiny, beautiful, blue WRX. I thought this jerk had just ruined my favorite car ever (my 2nd WRX that I had loved since the second I got it). I was so impressed with Freebird and how they took care of everything faster than I expected, made my car better than new, dealt with insurance, and were excited to get it back to me. They were always willing to take a few minutes to talk to us when we called, though I must admit we tried not to bother them too much. My husband had worked with a different auto body shop in town before and we will never go back there because of the experience we had.
