This store was only a few miles from my home in Memorial. They are located on Hempstead Highway just inside Loop 610 (on the other side of Loop 610 from where Northwest Mall was located). All the boxes you might need in various sizes with paper and bubble wrap for dishes, Tape, tape dispensers, markers, fragile stickers, etc... If you need it then they probably have it including specialty boxes for valuable paintings in different sizes. The people who work their are knowledgeable and very helpful. They will even help you fit your purchases into your vehicle. It's a nice touch. I needed to keep going back to the store due to my underestimating my packing needs. Trust me by a little more than you think you need but, they seem happy to have you return for more packing materials. read more

I went in to this place hoping for some help on sizing for about a dozen gift boxes I would be sending out. I was greeted and ask if I needed anything and as I started to answer, the RUDE clerk/ owner/ who knows, interrupted me and wasn't much help at all. Bought what I needed and left. If you need boxes, this is your store. Lots of sizes and plenty of variety. I was looking for a specific size to fit a coffee table top. I asked for help and the gentleman behind the counter looked for a box with the dimensions I gave him but couldn't find the exact size. I wound up buying 2 boxes which together would fit the coffee table I was trying to ship and bought those 2 boxes based on his suggestion. read more

The location on Hempstead is conveniant. Like all box stores they have many options, it's useful to ask for help. They are pretty good about finding the right size. They are kind of weird. Stern, helpful, and confusing, and they make up the rules. Two stars since I bought about $200 worth of boxes /tape etc. over four visits. All four different experiences. I mean how can the novice mover know how many boxes? They don't know, and you won't know. I ask early on if I could return unused boxes. Heard affirmative- "sure". But when I hauled the pristine extras back, guess what, no returns. No sign, no note on receipts which I saved to make returns. Certain boxes are accepted but how is the consumer to know? read more

These guys/gals here are awesome. Most helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to packing and shipping. Super location with tons of selection. Unfortunately they can not ship freight, but you can drop off your freight labels and package and have them shipped here! I've shipped some high-dollar Ferrari parts (bumper, wheels, etc) and it has always gone very smoothly, and they always package items very well! read more

As a small business owner myself, I usually try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I do not post negative reviews unless I've had a particularly bad experience. Well I just had one here. Last week I came in to buy boxes. I could not find the one I saw on the wall so I asked for help. The woman came over and I pointed to the one I wanted. She pulled some boxes out and walked them over to the counter. I paid and left with the boxes. When I went to put the boxes together, I noticed they were much bigger than the one I wanted. Annoying but no big deal. Mistakes are made. BUT when I went in to return them I was met with the same lady and she gave me the biggest attitude. She acted like it was my fault and insisted that I pointed to the bigger box. WHY would I point to a box that is too big?? She also refused to take back the box that I taped up, even though this was her fault. They've lost a customer for life. Note to management: your employee need a serious lesson in customer service. read more
