AJ was great! You never know why people have to come to the UPS Store, so to experience great customer service is such a blessing. AJ had such a great attitude and willingness to help. She was professional and polite. She greeted everyone the same as we all filed through the door needing assistance. This was my first time at a UPS Store and she set the bar of expectation. I didn't experience this same level of customer service the following day at an entirely different location near where I lived, so I had to take the time to leave this review. Often people go above and beyond or just routinely do their job as expected by their superiors and it goes unnoticed - I don't want AJ's job performance and kind disposition to go unnoticed, so thank you again AJ and the UPS Store for being there for people when they need it. The employees at this UPS store got me in and out quickly! They were helpful and efficient, and this location also has a lot of automated machines to help reduce wait times. The location is near downtown so the parking situation is somewhat difficult, there's a garage next door but it may be a good idea to have someone else drive while you run in. read more

Excellent customer service and great value vs the fed ex printers near the convention center. (Price was 70% lower than dealing with convention center even adding in my uber cost!) If you need to print something while you are doing a convention in downtown Houston, I would recommend. I had to return some technologomical equipment to a company with their instructions which brought me to a UPS Store for the first time in many years. Unlike the last time this dance happened with another nearby UPS Store in Midtown, the Downtown UPS Store actually had a well intentioned and helpful customer service rep to confirm transaction deets, explain that this was as easy as it looked unlike how it went the last time, print verification that things were okily-dokily and my technologomical equipment was not being """redirected""" to Russians working out of the nearby hostel, and git me on my way vamoosing out of the store with printed receipt in tow. I could walk here from a nearby bar on the light rail and mid summer my shirt was fully drenched to prove it. But even if you need to PAY for downtown parking for a few minutes, this UPS Store far exceeds what the other joke shops of the UPS Store can do in nearby neighbourhoods like the trash heap of Midtown so it is worth a visit here, and grabbing a refreshing pre- and post-victory drink at one of the excellent nearby watering holes on Main. Come here at all costs if you need to interact with any UPS store in the Greater Houston area, they know how to git er done efficiently. read more

BEWARE! I shipped two packages at this location last week and somehow one of them *magically* disappeared and never left the store. Of course it was the more valuable one with electronics. Shame on me for not hiding the contents. When I called them I was dismissed and told to do a tracer. I had the scanned receipts so I submitted a claim and UPS processed it swiftly for the "lost" package. It was obviously stolen, but there was no care taken or investigation into it which is surprising with all of the cameras in the store. Makes me wonder if this isn't commonplace or an inside job. Do NOT drop off anything here unless it is easily replaceable. If you do, make sure to take pictures and insure your contents correctly. First time here and at night parking is on the street. Of course you will have to pay if you are going during the day to this location vs at night when it's free. Just so you know they do lock the front door at night time due to the nature of their location. It is what it is a shipping store that doesn't do more. It isn't bad but it isn't good either just mehhh. It is hit or miss on staff sometimes it is a super friendly overly energetic amazingly helpful person and then the next time you get someone who acts like their world ended because you dared to walk in to ship something. I mean really how rude of us to ship things at a shipping store. When I get Mr/Ms energetic nice it can be 5 stars when I get Mr/Ms rude it's a 1 star. I called tonight to ask what I would need to bring so I can send back my att equipment, and before I could even get my question out the idiot (man) that answered the phone at 8:20pm on April 3rd 2019 interrupted me and told me we are about to close. When I asked for his name he told me I couldn't have it because he was helping a customer. Do not trust this store to do anything but ship your already taped up package. Do not count of them to secure a package for you. I came here to ship a fishing pole back to the manufacturer to be repaired. I purchased a tube in the store, paid for the shipping, and assumed that all would be taped and secured. The employee did not tape the tube shut, she just threw it in there and sent it out. The tube arrived to the manufacturer empty. We lost a fishing pole with a value of over $600. It was not insured, as I didn't think to ask and neither did she. We got a check for $100. They didn't care at all. read more

The company for which I work had a collection to send to our US Troops. We had 23 boxes to ship. We conveniently have this UPS store right outside our office. We took the boxes, and the staff was great! It was all hands on deck!, Jared, Sheena and Dystanee worked as a team to get our boxes processed so that the troops can get these donations we collected. Everything was efficient, and very professional. They reinforced some of the boxes as they were very heavy. This team had personality and made the time me and my coworkers spent there fly by. Although many complained about UPS not delivering mail in time for Christmas, I must say that I was truly impressed when a UPS courier rang my doorbell at 11:00 pm on Christmas Eve to deliver a package I was expecting. 11:00 pm!! I was amazed at their dedication. This shows how much their workers tried to keep people happy, but as the motto goes.. "you can't please everybody"".They did as much as they could. In my book, UPS is just awesome!! I had expected USPS to work around the clock to ensure deliveries, but in my area - Katy, that never happened. I saw no postal workers doing overtime here and many gifts I had ordered for my family, coming by USPS, have not been delivered yet. But, it's OK . UPS made up for it and I it's good to learn how dedicated and reliable their workers really are.. I am so grateful I went to this location this evening. Dystanee really stepped up, and helped me. I am a single mom, I am on an extremely tight budget. I needed to send a package but it did NOT need to get there immediately. She explained she could send it for $26 or $36, or possibly through USPS and it would really save me some money, but she wasn't sure if she could make that happen and as it was late in the evening. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated her attempt to solve my problem. I just started a new job, and really didn't have time to send this package any other way as it was a gift. She stepped up, she did exactly what I asked her to do. I will continue to do my shipping at UPS rather than FedEx. Why? Because of that awesome customer service that I was provided this evening.
