I had my roof replaced due to hail damage. After the roof was installed, 1 year later during a…read moreheavy rain storm water is pouring into the attic. GH tells me it is heavy rain and it can get under the shingles. I now have interior damage to my textured walls/ceiling. One of his workers went up onto the roof and found an opening by the chimney where the water was entering. And that is when my problems begin. Apparently, some of the vertical corner trim pieces were not adjusted when he installed the roof. His worker tears off (yes, tears off) 2 vertical corner pieces on the chimney, tearing off some of the top surface of the Masonite covering. He did NOT use a utility knife to cut the caulking. He installs 2 new pieces but does not nail them in securely and they don't fit properly. The verticals are not sealed so water can now continue to penetrate there. Also, the exposed Masonite is now getting saturated and degrading. Fast forward, apparently the roof has been leaking since and the decking is rotting by the chimney. I only find out during the recent hard rain storms. He comes out again and tells me the vertical wasn't nailed in well because his worker has to keep his balance from falling. He also tells me it will cost me $2000 to fix the chimney damage, which he caused. I'm sure he will also want me to pay for any roof decking damage too. BTW, during the original roofing job, no decking was replaced so this indicated to me the decking was good prior to him re-roofing my house.

He seemed kind and pleasant to work with. This was for additional room for my house. He told me that he only needed 4-6 weeks to complete the additional room to my house. We had an agreement that he should factor everything into the cost, so that he won't ask for any extra money later on. After I made the full payment of about $60,000, Alex started behaving strangely. Him or his employees would show up only for a few hours sometimes, no call or show for weeks at times, intentionally delay the construction etc. And when I politely asked him why the construction was taking so long to complete, Alex responded with angry outbursts, and ask for extra money. Each time the price would increase. First it started by him asking me for tips, then he would ask for extra $100 etc. Eventually, he started demanding to be paid $7000 extra even though we have fully paid him the $60,000 that we agreed on from the beginning. When he had these angry outbursts he would insult me using the words, " You're so stupid", " fuck you"... etc He would also falsely accuse me of things that I didn't say. I would like him to screenshot whatever he's accusing me of and post it here for everyone to see. I have posted some of the screenshots of the insults that he sent me. When he demanded the extra $7,000, I asked him to send me bill that detail what he is charging me for, but he has refused to do that. He knocked down my 2 windows connected to my house and refused to seal them up. So, this creates a safety hazard. I'm writing this to warn potential victims. Please make sure you hire a lawyer before you entrust him into doing any work for him. He does seem nice, please don't fall for that. I read the good reviews on this page about his company and believe them. He told me that he was going to complete the project in 02/2025... It's 05/06/2025 and he hasn't completed the construction. Please don't be like me. Have a lawyer present before you sign anything with Alex. I will add more details/screenshots later as needed. Thanks.

Not only was the work done to our standards but he kept in communication until every single piece was delivered and in place! What was supposed to be a few days worth of work turned into 6 weeks. We had to have them come out multiple times to fix the work. In October of this year I contacted Jay to fix the trim that had come off in a storm. I was told they don't do siding anymore and the warranty doesn't cover winds of 88+ mph (which we didn't have). After a few email exchanges, they have not gotten back to me. We now have gone through insurance to have the trim replaced. At the time of the original work, I gave them a break and did not plaster this all over social media. A mistake I won't make again when I've been taken.

His workers came over and did a good job in repairing and replacing a lot of items in our kitchen cabinets that needed to be repaired due to mitigation. The workers did an outstanding job in repairing what we had requested.

I signed under duress as ne promised to make things right and shook my hand. I fell for the "I already paid the subcontractors" I trusted him to be man of his word. Nope Then there is a Jeremy Darling saying that I insult them. Since when has a fair evaluation ever been insulting? 98% is excellent so if you want to risk 2% to be questionable aesthetically, structurally and "is this even legal" they'll probably be ok In my case that 2% is a big deal. They are extremely high priced. So with the price tag comes the expectation of awesome high end results. Not my experience.
