They took about an hour, unlike others who took 2-3 hours. We got 3 bids. Although Legacy was a little higher than another company, we chose Legacy because they said they'd move anything that needed to be moved to install the windows. Garry Sorrell kept me informed about the progress of my windows and always returned my texts. On the day of installation, The crew did an excellent job of moving furniture, removing blinds, and taking down curtains. Legacy also replaced old rotting wood around the windows where needed. When they finished, they put everything back as it was and cleaned up all the mess from the installation inside and out. They hauled away our old windows. I would recommend Legacy Exteriors to my friends and family.

He measured every room and used software to fix a price (I realize now that was for his benefit, not mine). He did such an unprofessional job! Used no painters tape (because" if you are pro you don't need to)" so there are no sharp lines between the ceiling and wall or the trim and the wall, or the wall and floor. There are many places where the white shows through the gray. He didn't label the doors he took down to put them back in the right door so one won't stay closed. He didn't prime the doors before painting them and once bumped the paint comes off in a thick strip. I could go on and on. The little money I might have saved is overshadowed by my daily regret.

He gave me a reasonable quote for putting up the Christmas lights and we agreed. He stated at that time that the price we paid included taking down the Christmas lights in early January. When the lights were hung we had a couple issues, I wanted alternating red and white, he just put up just one color. Also I had wanted the garage outlined and that piece was missed. Ultimately, the job was made right and I paid in check when the job was complete. I've texted him on Jan 10 no response. Texted him on Jan 14 and he replied saying the crew would be there on Friday. Never showed. I texted again on Jan 24. He replied the next day saying his brother had passed. It is obvious to me that Matt's family suffered a horrible tragedy and was not in a place to respond. I can certainly empathize but wish there was more communication to just let me know the expectation beyond a "you'll hear from me when you hear from me" type response. Again, I'm sure I was the last thing on his mind. Matt has also offered to reimburse me for the added cost to take down the lights which I will take him up on.
