I wound up in a nursing home for 21 days after the first of the year. My copays for covered expenses have been very very low and are settled. By contrast my old insurance has messed up the bills for the end of 2017 (not entirely their fault) but they still do not have my bill figured. The bill has ranged from 0 to 16000 to 4000. I wanted to change my Medicare supplemental plan, which is time sensitive, and called in October to make the appointment. I have used Trozan for the last 6 years and was pleased. Obviously, now, I have gone elsewhere. The original owners were excellent, timely and very kind. It is unfortunate that they have gone. I do not recommend this company anymore.

We added home in 2011. They kept increasing rates and it finally became more than double. My banker told us something was off and we were paying too much for home two years ago but we still were loyal and stayed with them. I finally got quotes from other companies and found that we have been overpaying by thousands per year. Had to switch to Progressive and instant saving of 1.2k for 6 mo. We kept our home and Sean's office requoted a reasonable rate but when I cancelled auto they didn't honor the first quote. They even raised the premium $100 more even after losing the multi policy discount ($186) was taken into consideration. This is how you are treated after decades of loyalty. Sean's associate told me on the phone that us overpaying is just the nature of insurance business. I am truly shocked. In fact, they tried to gaslight me more than once that old policies have many more benefits and should never be cancelled. This cannot be further from the truth. I learned my lesson in a hard way. Go with an independent broker like Fort Collins Insurance. They comparison shop for you at renewal and treat you much better. UPDATE: the best thing that this office did for me is to rescind the first new quote although I waited for another week to switch auto to get a multi-policy discount. Thanks for that. I switched to Safeco for home and saved 600 dollars further than my current lower AllState premium (1.2k lower than the original). Unlike Sean Curry's office, my new agent goes over everything in policy line by line. I think this office's objective is to keep you in the dark so they can make more money out of you. All their tricks about saving me 100 or 200 here and there each time I complained were for nothing as I have been paying thousands more than I should have. The AllState claim depart is good but their agents are sharks. Once they are busted by shockingly cheaper quotes of their competitors, they have the nerve to tell you that everybody else is shopping around rates (i.e. it was your fault that you trusted me). My research shows that AllState is 20 percent more expensive than the national average. But if policies are decades old like ours you will be paying double of new policies elsewhere. Had I stayed with AllState without switching, I would have paid 3.6k more this year alone so we probably lost tens of thousands in the past decade. We became victims of AllState's shameful tactic of "price optimization" which punishes loyal customers with discriminatory prices in anticipation that they are unlikely to switch. They got into trouble for that practice in CA. Don't fall victim to AllState and run away!!! BTW, price optimization is illegal in our state and we reported to the Colorado Division of Insurance.

I have been trying to adjust my auto rates for the last two weeks and I keep getting the run around. The last time I was transferred to JP as my typical guy was out of the office. After 15 minutes on the phone JP said his computer crashed and asked if he could call me back in 3 to 4 minutes. 24 hours later I'm still waiting for a return call. I will be looking elsewhere as this location seems to have taken a dive. Update - Even after I called another local agent and he relayed to them I would be leaving I still have not heard back from Ben Parsons. I called Statefarm directly and in 15 minutes accomplished what I had tried to do with this office for the last two weeks.
