I've visited twice now and each experience was different. I should be clear that my first visit was great, which is why I went back. I was less happy with that second visit. It seems that, typically, visitors are led into the main room of the house in front of the fireplace (the same fireplace Whittier made famous in his poem "Snow-Bound") where the guide gives a (clearly unrehearsed) narrative of the life and work of the so-called Quaker poet. Certainly, Whittier was an interesting fellow, but the guide would do well to watch their time (and be aware of the body language of visitors). After the potentially tedious talk, the visitor is led through the rest of the house - totaling about four rooms. The last time I went, if my eyes lingered too long on anything, I was treated to a long diatribe about the hapless object of my attention. It was hard to enjoy. Ultimately, the experience depends on who is working that day. The experience should last no more than 45 minutes for such a small house museum. If it doesn't, the guide isn't doing a good job.

The guide for this house was very friendly and his knowledge of Whittier and his subsequent works were above and beyond what other guides knew of other homes in the surrounding area. Most of the furniture dates back to the original home when Whittier lived there. Also, they had the original book of poems that Whittier carried every day of his life! I loved it. The other houses that I have seen in the surrounding areas. The tour guide to this house, Gus, was a very nice man. Yes, he was a little long in the tour and also went on about his personal life, however he was an extremely passionate nice gentleman.

We have always used Flight Line for well over 25 years and I was ready for a change since FlightLine is not as good as they used to be. Dan (Callahan) answered my phone call immediately, he was absolutely wonderful to deal with, over the phone and in person! He arrived to our house 15 minutes early, his vehicle fit all 6 of us comfortably with luggage! He loaded all of our luggage and carry-ons in his vehicle and provided bottled waters for each of us, the ride was comfortable and he is very professional, personable and friendly. I can 100% say that we will never use another airport transportation service again. He has earned our repeat business for sure!

Today, I've had a very disturbing experience. Briefly: luggage carousel took a long time to get rolling (about 40 minutes). I called the dispatch to alert them so that they'd know A) I'm not ghosting and B) probably don't want to rush to the pickup zone if they have a better place to wait. 30min into my wait (25min after my courtesy call), the boss from headquarters calls me and demands that I tip the driver extra because they don't pay him to wait more than 30min. And he wasn't nice about it. Thing is, I'd already tipped nicely on the pre-pay (which the rude caller knew), and given the hard time we were all having with this delay and a late hour, I was planning to give a little cash too. This call changed my experience, changed my feeling about tipping the extra (I couldn't feel anything but resentment), and also admittedly reduced the amount of that extra cash when I did cough it up. Driver also made it clear that he was not happy to be here, and that I was obviously a tremendous inconvenience. For the price I paid, I would have appreciated a bit more commiserating attitude versus a misdirected anger attitude. Waiting isn't super fun for anyone, but at least he was sitting in a warm car and had all of his belongings. Please anyone who has a better airport limo company in this area feel free to DM me.

We just returned from our second European trip that was booked by Cindy. The hotels she recommended (7 of them!) were all clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. She suggested ways that we could save money and provided us with discount codes, too. Cindy went "over and above" when we couldn't locate our tour guide for the Eiffel Tower. I contacted her by text and she immediately went to work to identify and provide me with the guide's mobile number and also, provide the guide with my number. Long story short...we connected with the guide and were able to enjoy all the benefits of a guided tour over general admission. We look forward to working with Cindy again and recommending her to our family and friends :)

Cindy did not fulfill my request to put them in excellent hotels in good neighborhoods for each part of the trip. Although I did not go to Italy, the problems Cindy created because of her inattention to my requests were expensive to solve. The group enjoyed Italy despite Cindy. It was only because my daughter was proactive and worked around her incompetence that the trip was successful. I would not recommend Cindy.
