We hired AAA Marble to install kitchen countertops. While the installation was eventually completed, the process was slow due to the worker frequently using his phone during work hours. What followed was deeply disturbing. That same night, the worker named Carlos returned to our home uninvited, entering through a back window. He attempted to enter our bedroom while we were sleeping, and we had to forcefully remove him from the premises and call the police. He fled before they arrived. To make matters worse, we later discovered the word "MRSA" spray-painted on the counters that had just been installed. This entire situation was traumatic, and a police report has been filed. This was a frightening and unacceptable experience. We are sharing this to urge others to exercise caution if using this company. Make sure you know exactly who will be working in your home, and take precautions to protect your household. If they send someone named Carlos Caraballo to your home makes sure your windows and doors are locked every night there after. read more

We used AAA Hellenic a bit over a year ago for a fairly large home reno. Kitchen island, kitchen countertops, and a bathroom countertop. We shopped around first and found AAA Hellenic to be the best combo of pricing and options. Briana Berkowitz was our primary rep to help us. Install went effectively as planned, except the bathroom counter ended up tearing up a bit of sheetrock. The guys came down and showed us immediately what happened, which we appreciated rather than try to hide something. It was relatively minor and we chalked up to cost of doing business. A week or 2 after the install, we noticed that we could see the rectangular marks they use to grip the pieces. It's minor and only noticeable in a certain light, but we could see 2 of them on our island piece. My wife worked with Briana (who worked with her manager) and they offered to either replace the piece again or offer us $600 as compensation. My wife I think wanted the piece replaced, which is kind of a pain and I was leaning toward the refund. After going back and forth on it, life got busy and we ended up doing neither. A year later, we just called and they still gave us the $600, no questions asked. It showed up in our account within 24 hours. We just saw a third rectangle, so slightly disappointed we can see those spots even if minimal, when you'd like for something this big to look perfect. So probably ~3-3.5 stars for installation. But 5 stars for service with the way they handled things, can't ask for much more. We would recommend and likely use them again in the future. read more

AAA Hellenic Marble saved my kitchen! After a terrible experience with the big countertop distributor in King of Prussia, we were left without a countertop and no idea where to go. I needed a matching countertop to the existing one. I called dozens of places and had no hope until I called AAA Hellenic. They were able to suggest an almost identical piece (the new piece didn't touch the existing countertop) from a different manufacturer. They had such a great knowledge of their products. They were quick to come out and measure and install was easy and quick. They matched the edge and overhang of the existing countertops. The new (different manufacturer) countertop looks amazing! AAA Hellenic Marble has the LOWEST pricing for the same level of stone and project description compared to Colonial Marble, Asco Granite and Marble, and Renaissance Marble (with whom I used for my kitchen). I also think their customer service is good, the salesperson I worked with was polite and informative and easy to work with. AAA's stone yard is small but their selection is on point for mid range marble and granite. They also have some nice quality lots of higher level marbles, but those lots are not as abundant as their selection of mid range level marble lots. I have used them twice for projects using the higher level marbles (Calacattas) for two separate vanity projects; for my first project their stone yard had several Calacatta lots. For my second project 4 months later, AAA Hellenic didn't have many available Calacatta lots in their yard that day- most of the Calacatta lots were tagged as sold. For my first project, the only downside was that their installers did not speak English fluently, so problem solving with them on-site became difficult when they delivered my 4 inch vanity backsplash that had been cracked and glued together by the installer or whomever cut my template onto the slab. The manager immediately replaced the backslash the following day and was easy to work with. Because their pricing was lower than my bids at Colonial, Asco, and Renaissance by like 20-30% , I used them again for my second project. I would highly recommend them because of the competitive pricing and easy of customer service that I experienced for the small vanity projects that I did with AAA Hellenic. read more

We could not be more impressed with the outcome. We made several trips out to make our final selections. The staff was very accommodating and informative. The selection was ample and if they did not have it, they offered to find it. This was not necessary in our case because we had a tough time choosing from the selection available as it was...When it came time for the installation, the guys were very professional and punctual. It has been almost 5 months since the project was complete and we have no issues with the quality and highly recommend working with this business. Triple A is a triple F Beware of Roberto. He arrived with the wrong materials and when presented with the paperwork showing he was incorrect he refused to stop. The entire backsplash had to be removed and redone. Beware of Agnes. She is the backsplash salesperson and completely inept. Still...to this day...3 months later... she has not provided the correct outlet covers or refunded any money. I should have known there would be a problem when she complained that she needed to leave early for an eye doctor appointment. Someone who is supposed to help you with colors and someone who is guiding the selection of tiles and their placement complains about needing to see the eye doctor??!!? And to a customer no less?? Agnes claimed she was unable to come to check on the kitchen mishap (a mere 15 minutes away) due to her inability to drive. Yet she drives to work. Beware of Nick. He is the office manager. When trying to determine the rescheduling of the botched installation he was both rude and obnoxious. Hey - if you don't like your job then do something else. Beware of Nick Gakis the owner. If you would like to speak to him regarding any problems you can just forget it. You have a better chance of an audience with the Pope. And finally, I found it interesting that some positive reviews came from family members and negative reviews were dismissed as from people they claimed were not even customers. Countertops were a bust too! I ordered several slabs from this company. For some reason they cut two holes in my bar slab and installed it in the master bath. It was supposed match the caps around the shower, and clearly it does not. Now they are refusing to replace the bar slab because it was a remnant and they say it is too expensive to buy a new slab and I should just come pick something else. In addition to paying a professional decorator to design the whole space around the bar and bar top, I have already designed the custom bar, ordered custom high-gloss paint to match the countertop and purchased custom glass hardware. I have a signed contract for this top on my bar. Their response...your husband said you could come pick something else, no big deal. read more

We just finished a house build and I can whole heartedly say that the mystery white marble in the kitchen is by far my favorite part of the whole house. It makes me smile every time I walk into the kitchen. AAA Marble did the marble in our entire house (7 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, butters pantry) and we couldn't be happier. The entire process from choosing the slabs to the final installation was super easy on us (the clients) and handled professionally and lighting fast for the contractor and designer. The installers are magic, working quickly and efficiently, hiding seams and delivering a gorgeous end product. Also, the kitchen marble was accidentally chipped two months in and they came out 2 days later and completely fixed it (with no chip "scar" in sight!). Originally I was hesitant to go with AAA Helenic as I thought they may not have as great of a selection as some of the bigger providers in and around West Chester, KOP, and even In New Jersey giving the deals under $2,000 for your whole kitchen (up to 40sq ft). I like to shop around though and try to support local business, so I did my research. The first salesgirl we met at AAA seemed pretty young, but she knew her stuff. Even though it was towards the end of the day for the store, she patiently walked my boyfriend and I around the lot and showed us all of the various grades of granite and even other stone options. She asked me my color palate and highlighted choices she thought would suit, within or slightly above my price range. Once I found a granite I really loved (at a middle price point), the salesgirl introduced me to Mike and we discussed pricing. Mike explained that it would be easier to negotiate competitive pricing, if we had the dimensions of my kitchen at hand. This seemed annoying, but I agreed that it was a waste of time to talk theoretical numbers. I live nearby, so I went home and quickly took some rough measurements (made a drawing of the kitchen layout). Learn from me and take this with you, before you go. Once I had this information in my hand, I was able to negotiate for a higher grade granite, everything included, for just a couple of hundred dollars more than what the baseline granites would have cost. I won't specifically name the other granite companies I visited and received quotes from, but I visited them all trying to find the same granite or something similar for a cheaper price. Two places gave me quotes at more than $500 dollars more than AAA for the exact same granite. One well-known vendor in KOP walked me all over their warehouse and then laughed in my face when I told them the quote I received from AAA for the granite I wanted. They wanted $1,000 more for that same stone! They told me to show them my quote from AAA as proof, if I expected them to come anywhere near the price AAA gave me. When I did show them, they tried to tell me they could not match the price but they "guarantee their work unlike the other companies out there." This is supposed to be a selling point? I'm a lawyer. I know you guarantee your work. That's how contracts work, unless it says otherwise. Overall, my experience with the other companies was so bad, and their quotes so much higher, that I wondered what I was missing in my original deal with AAA- clearly I thought I was going to get dinged somewhere on the price or for extra drilled holes or something. Mike at AAA came to my house before the template was made, so he could address any questions or issues I would have, and so he could see the space. He knew every step and consideration along the way, and he put up with my random phone calls about which faucets, granite sealers, and back splashes I should consider to keep quality up and price down. Every single person I dealt with at AAA was meticulous, knowledgeable, and polite. The price I received at AAA on Day 1 was the same price I paid. Nothing more. No extra fees for this or for that. I decided to add another hole for the soap dispenser- no charge. Added an inch to the back splash- no charge. Wanted them to seal the counter tops when they installed- no charge. Mike even came back, when the job was done, to inspect the work and make sure I was happy before I paid for the last half of the job. I could not be more thrilled with how the counters turned out, and I know they will look even more amazing, once I have painted the walls the grey I picked out. This is money well spent to improve my home where it counts for resale. Sorry for the short story, but bottom line: I would recommend this company, and I already have, to my closest friends, my mom, and coworkers. I plan to use them again for my downstairs bathroom vanity top, and I will use them again, if I ever have another house in need of a kitchen update. read more

Do not buy from them. They do not return phone calls or emails when they have messed up a job. They make promises to be in touch and let you know how they will resolve the issue and they do not. I have emailed and called several times. No one has returned either form of communication. Then they charged my credit card the final balance without my authorization as I was planning to mail a check once they fixed the issues. Clearly they don't value customer service and don't take pride in delivery of a quality product or installation. Go elsewhere. And don't worry, they only care if it "looks good". It doesn't matter if the measurements are off or a peninsula isn't square. As long as it "looks good" they think it's a job well done. If only that worked in my profession. We recently relocated to the area and had used "a larger provider" for the counter tops but when we decided to redo a bathroom and found a marble we liked, we decided to support a local biz. I have to agree with other reviews on customer service. They are certainly not proactive in any way. No one ever came to the house to see the space, they simply asked for measurements of the room. I had to call there several times with questions. I was given a price over the phone and assumed since it was a bathroom that it would include removing the toilet, which it did not ($150 just for that), nor did it include removing the existing wooden floor or the 1/4 round on the baseboards (which they broke and never told me). They guy who arrived was very nice but couldn't speak English so that was a little aggravating. read more

This was by far our worst experience dealing with any business. I decided to give them two stars instead of one for a couple reasons. First the manager was very responsive/ apologetic/ polite, and secondly they did an OK job. We got new quartz counter top and back splash, spent close to 10k on it. And I want to add, this is not a fake review as I have all the quotes/ bills/ payment proofs. Price - for the counter top they first quoted a price that was higher by over $1,000 due to a calculation mistake they made. - their price after correction was still over other vendors, however they came down to within a few $100 and we decided to support a local business instead of going with a big chain. - they quoted a price for the back splash, without giving a line by line breakup of the costs. The price was again higher than the big chain, but we wanted to support a local business. - they made simple calculation mistakes on the invoices, which seemed to have been typed up in a word processor rather than computer generated. They over billed us by $100 in the last bill (which they corrected). One of the bills calculated 6% sales tax at $6 for a bill of a few $ '000. Customer service - our counter top install was moved from morning to afternoon (on the morning of the install), but they showed up much later than the agreed time. There we no updates meanwhile. - the installers said they will not do the plumbing re connection, which AAA had agreed to do. After talking to them they said plumbing will be done by another guy coming later. We also figured they had actually sub contracted the counter top install to a 3rd party. - for the back splash install they did not arrive on the scheduled time/ day, when called they said the install has been moved to the next day. No one called to tell us that it has been rescheduled at any time. There was no email, no phone call. Again very poor customer service. - installers came over the next morning, and started with removing the old tile. After the tiles were removed I got an email saying the tile removal was NOT in the price, and I will have to pay ADDITIONAL $200 for the removal. Later when I was driving, I got a call from their design consultant saying that I have to agree to the additional charge NOW. When I said I am driving, the installers have already removed old tile, and i will stop by later to figure this out, she was extremely rude and DEMANDED that either I agree to pay the charge, or she will call the installers to STOP WORK and leave. We were expecting overseas guests who were arriving that day to stay with us for a few days, AAA knew that. There was no way we could have left it that way. They basically had us over a barrel, but the rudeness was shocking. In the best case they forgot to add the charge to remove tile, which is their mistake and they should not hold us responsible for it. They did not break out the quote for us to have figured it out. In the worst case they knew they can make an additional $200 because we needed the work done before friends came over that same day. Quality of work - the counter top installers did an OK job. - for the back splash install we were told it would take a day and a half, but they rushed it to finish the same day. The installers first said they cannot grout the same day as the cement will be wet. They however did the grouting the same day, which did cause some tiles to move, causing uneven gap between tiles. They also did not pay attention to the quality of tiles they were using, there is a whole box of tiles left but they used tiles with spots on the back splash where the defects are in plain sight. To summarize, we are not going back ever, and would suggest you take your business else where as well. read more

I don't think anyone at AAA Hellenic Marble has ever had a course in customer service. Our salesman was inept. When we called back to try to straighten it out, he wouldn't talk to us. We used them a few years ago. The granite cracked under a year after installation due to the installation being slightly crooked under my stove top. The AAA guy came out to tighten around the stove top due to it being uneven and the granite cracked shortly after. The owner offered me a piece of granite from the same lot because that's what "new construction" uses, pieces in front of the stove top. I will never use them again and I have several projects coming up. I was too tired to file a small claims in court. I've been to small claims court before poor construction practices. I am waiting until I replace my stove top to remove the piece and get a stove/oven combination so I won't need the piece. read more

He seems to know every detail about everything, patiently spending the time to insure a good selection for the consumer. John showed great expertise in templating, using a laser technique which expedited the delivery process. Matthew and team were respectful of my home at the time of installation. A seam was required due to size; it is barely visible to the naked eye. We renovated our master bathroom and AAA Hellenic Marble was recommended to us for the granite counter top of our vanity. When we went to the showroom in West Chester, we explained what we needed, we were walked through the granite yard with Mike Peed, who made several recommendations. We loved one of his suggestions, went back into the showroom where we asked for help with accent tile. The interior designer asked us our tastes, what we wanted to achieve and easily chose several pieces, one of which we loved. Mike stayed in contact with us and our contractor. They adjusted their schedule to come out to our home to create the template when we fell a bit behind. I made a change and added a shelf in the shower to match the granite vanity, and it was all completed on time and looks perfect. I was a twenty year customer of AAA Hellenic. They have done nice work for us right up to this last project. If they make a mistake they blame you. They take no responsibility. Nick the manager may be one of the most ignorant and rude people I have ever dealt with in business. I can not understand his position. This is what happened. We ordered tile from AAA. This was an easy order. Porcelain Tile - grey. They tile came in and they were two different shades - same lot number but just a shade off. Could not tell the difference until put on the wall. Definitely not what was ordered. They ordered three more boxes of tile but they were also not the right color. Nick offered to replace all the tile (because he knows he was wrong). We agreed. Then Nick sends us a non-disclosure agreement. I am sure they have needed this before. What a joke. Nick can keep his tile and his agreement. They made a mistake and I need to sign some legal papers to say I will not discuss it with anyone? These people did wrong by us and will not take any responsibility. Stay away. Stay very far away. We were referred to this place by our general contractor for our kitchen countertops At first, the salesman seemed eager and helpful and customer oriented. We picked a stone type and made a down payment and after that is when our experienced changed. Although he told us during the sale that we should return in a week to pick our slab, when I reached out to him to do so we were told "we didnt need to". We went anyhow. The salesman seemed annoyed and didnt have time for us. When we found the slabs that had been picked for us, they didnt look at all like the beautiful one one we were shown. Our slabs appeared to be of a lesser quality. After a lot of persistence on our part we found another slab we liked and looked similar to the display piece. When it was installed, they drilled a hole that didnt fit our faucet, even though we had physically shown the faucet to them during the design and the install. The salesmsn refused to take any accountability and we had to buy s different faucet to match the hole. read more

He answered all of our questions and spend a lot of time with us even though he knew it could be a year until we would be ready to make a purchase. Do not use this company!!! We had issues with our granite install, and my husband and I both called the store many times to explain the issue. They always said "a manager will call you back". We never received a call back from anyone. I went to the store to speak with a manager. They were so unprofessional in the store. They took my name and tried to say he would call me. I told them since he was in the store and I physically saw him from a distance, I would wait to speak with him. He never came out. He had someone tell me she was a manager, but when she gave me her card at the end of the conversation, I realized she was not a manager. In conclusion we received a horrible job and have not been able to get any kind of resolution. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. read more

Terrible experience. Have done 3 granite projects in 18 months, this one was the first with AAA. Removal and template was a bad experience... Nice guys showed up to do template with no notice from the office they needed to do removal, despite the confirmation email I have from them that they'd be doing it. Wasted 45 minutes waiting on ok from their bosses to remove old counters. 12 days without counters then they call the night before to try to change install time which has been set up for two weeks. Showed up for install with no plumber to do our hookups but a contract with plumbing that we were paying as an extra charge. And the island cut for the wrong sink (which we just decided to live with to end this job with AAA). Then they call us a day later to say they miscalculated our bill and want more money. This company needs to get its act together. read more

The sales team was readily available and accessible at all times if we had any questions, the installation crew arrived on-time and were polite and courteous, and we even had a follow up from the sales team to ensure we were happy with the finished product. At the recommendation of my contractor, I reached out to AAA for a quote to seal some outdoor stone countertops. I was given a ballpark price based on a product cost, service call and length of the counter. While I was quoted a price of $300. it wasn't until the work was completed that I felt somehow cheated. The service guy applied the sealer with paper towels and was done in 15 minutes. If that wasn't bad enough he then informed me that it will need another coat in 2-3 hours and that I could apply it myself. Somehow I felt taken advantage of given the cost of the project. When I contacted the showroom, I got bounced around several times and was promised a follow up call that never happened. When I did reach the owner, Nick, he informed me that the product cost was $200 (quart) and with the service call the bill came to $300 and was fair for the work performed. When I tried to state my concern, he became belligerent and accused me of trying to get a quality service at a Home Depot price. I decided to research the cost of the product. When I contacted the manufacturer, I was quoted a price of $124.80 for a gallon. Clearly I was being taken advantage of. Given the poor quality of customer service and the value for the work performed I have lodge a complaint with the BBB. I also would not recommend this company to friends, family or contractors.
