I'm in California, but wish I could work with this business! I found the Main Line Kitchen Design…read moreblog during a web search on cabinets. They have a blog on cabinet ratings - incredibly helpful. I got a bid from a Northern California contractor that uses a local cabinet supplier/importer. Those cabinets were in my budget but didn't meet the quality criteria listed in the article. This article also listed ratings for more than 50 brands, including ones that they don't use. My other contractor offered two manufacturers in the blog at competitive prices. The brands this company uses to design kitchens for their clients were rated best. There's no benefit for this business to rate brands they don't sell. But the information in this article helps so many people. If this business gives articles like this to the public, I am sure they will provide top notch service to their customers.

After selecting our remnant, we were rushed into choosing our templates prior to the installation the following day. When I noticed a spot marked with a green X, I was assured it was a small hole that would be filled with epoxy and we would never notice it. We moved forward based on that assurance. When the counters were installed, we found 10 to 15 visibly mismatched epoxy repairs and a noticeable scratch. The one repair I had specifically asked about was the worst of all. A technician came out the following week, acknowledged the repairs didn't match, and admitted our salesperson should have disclosed them -- but suggested most predated Colonial's purchase of the stone, meaning we were sold a heavily repaired remnant with zero disclosure. What followed has been four months of inexcusable customer service. I called 3 to 5 times per week and almost never heard back. When I finally reached Wendy in management on April 2, 2026, she was unaware of key details and said she'd follow up with the service department. It is now June 1, 2026, and I have not received a single callback since. I want to be fair: the counters themselves are beautiful, and every service technician who came to our home was professional and exceptional. This is purely a failure of customer service at the management level. We live 45 minutes away and have busy lives, but we are now left with no choice but to drive there in person just to find someone willing to speak with us. We were prepared to give Colonial more of our business. Instead, we have been ignored for months over an issue that -- at least in part -- was clearly their responsibility. The lack of basic decency in returning a customer's call is something I never expected from a professional company. I would urge anyone considering Colonial Marble & Granite to think carefully before trusting them with a significant purchase.

Our challenges started with pieces that were not cut to spec and had to be returned. Shoddy work on the edges and finishes compounded our frustration. Pieces were installed crooked and had to be fixed by our contractors. Add in poor communication from the sales and customer service teams and it's obvious Colonial does not care about their customers. I will choose someone who does next time.

Throughout the process we have been struck by the craftsmanship, attention to detail, excellent level of communication and clear desire to make us happy ("we just want to see you smile") that we have experienced. All of the other 5 star reviews have aptly captured the experience that we did, so I will not go into as great detail as I normally would. The design process was easy - our designer asked pertinent questions that helped us hone our visions and thoughts into reality. We felt seen and heard, in terms of defining our wants, needs, finances, etc. Demolition was extremely fast, and the teams made sure to keep the house as clean as possible throughout the entire process. Each person who worked on our house demonstrated a dedication to quality, and whenever an issue arose, it was rapidly addressed and remedied. The workmanship is noteworthy. When it came down to the final punch list, and fixing the minor details (I tend to be fastidious and overly observant about the detail work), there was no issue, and the work was beautifully completed. The billing and payment process is comprehensive, very clearcut and very easy to understand and follow from the outset, which also made the experience seamless. I would like to mention that dRemodeling has a cleaning team that they have clean the areas that have not only been worked on but also impacted by the construction. We found that they are now offering the cleaning team as a separate service, called dReal Deal Clean. It was a no-brainer to sign up for future ongoing cleaning services, knowing that they have the same ownership, and high standards. We will unhesitatingly hire dRemodeling for any future remodeling needs.

I think I had a list of final 2 but dRemodeling won our business because everything is done by them. Our first meeting was with our assigned designer, Amber, and she is as talented as is patient and helpful. She was super transparent and explained the process from beginning to end. She walked us through pricing, options, timelines, and anything else that goes into a remodel. She kept in contact the entire process and was always a quick call/email away with answers to any additional questions that sprung to mind. What I really, really valued from dRemodeling was the fact that they have their own demo workers/installers. I did not want to work with a company that used 3rd party contractors because there isn't much liability. And it's really hard to find a GC and trust them to complete a job well done if it isn't a referral. Everyone that came through wore a company t-shirt, was professional and polite. Tri was our project manager and he was so goooood. He would check-in to the home regularly and ensure things were moving along and getting done the right way. We had an issue with getting our brand new counters into our city house but Tri was able to track down ample people to make it happen the day of! A true gem to say the least. Even when the project concluded, there were a few minor little things I noticed after-the-fact but it was immediately resolved the very next day (no delay, no questions asked, just a resolution). And lastly, Dan, the owner. I didn't have much interaction with him but he did call me mid-way through the project to ask for any feedback (both good and bad) and see how things were. It says a lot when an owner takes great pride in their businesses; I respect that immensely. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience that adhered to our budget (a little over but by own requests) and timeline. In fact, the project start time was able to be pushed up. We were extremely clear that the seating needed to be unobstructed--essentially, a counter-height table extension from the cabinets. The final design we approved included an apron, but no measurements were provided to explain how it would impact stool clearance. The rendering even showed five stools at the island, which gave us confidence that it would work as intended. Unfortunately, that was a huge mistake. Because of a poorly designed apron, it is physically impossible to fit standard counter-height stools under the island. The clearance is so low that no stool exists that both fits under the island and allows you to sit and eat comfortably. In other words, the centerpiece of our kitchen--the island seating--is a total failure. It is appalling that a professional kitchen designer would overlook such a basic and critical detail. We assumed we could trust her expertise, but that assumption has left us with an island that cannot function as designed and no reasonable options to fix it without a major renovation. If you are considering working with this company, be warned: do not assume the designer has considered the practical details. Double-check every measurement yourself, because we learned the hard way that they do not.

My husband and I met with the designer (a great lady- big picture-oriented and practical) and her recommended contractor (a knowledgeable, detail-oriented guy who took the time to explain things), and we were excited. When we received the design and estimates, we did get a sticker-shock with respect to the markups of the costs. Based on our designer/contractor interactions, however, we were still considering Reico, even with the markups! But, the level of responsiveness dropped dramatically. Before we knew it, we were informed that our designer (the great lady) was "no longer with the company" and I now have all these spam-type calls from random people I don't know at Reico. Rude.

I decided to redo my old kitchen after living in my house for 23 years. I wanted a very specific color and look, and was not able to find anything I liked for the cost I could afford. I was driving on Lancaster Avenue and saw Wholesale, Granite, Marble, and Tile store, and decided to stop by and check it out. When I came in, I was amazed to see the most gorgeous slabs of granite and marble displayed on the walls, as in a museum. I met with Robin Rose, their designer, and that was it, I knew she was the right person for me! Robin Rose came to my house and took pictures of my existing kitchen. She then spent innumerable hours talking to me and making drawings based on my wishes, and what she thought would be the best use of my space, functionality and budget. I was so touched by her willingness to listen to my wishes, and at the same time make suggestions as to what would work better for me. She was right! My kitchen is stunning! She helped me choose everything, the cabinets, back splash, countertop, door handles, being so patient with various changes I was making, and guiding me to find just the thing liked. The most extraordinary thing happened when the cabinets were being delivered, and Robin Rose came to my house to make sure everything was delivered correctly. My kitchen Installer did not show up! After waiting for him for almost an hour, she asked the driver to help her and they both unloaded the cabinets off the truck! She is a tremendous lady, talented, trustworthy, and a great human being. I was doing a kitchen renovation. I had been all over the city of Philadelphia searching for cabinets and countertops for several months. I visited places which sold these items multiple times...but could not seem to find what I was looking for. I was driving on Lancaster Ave. and saw Wholesale Marble Granite and Tile. I went inside and was directed to Robin Rose, one of the designers. From the first time I met with her, I felt more confident that this was where I should be. In the middle of a major kitchen renovation we discovered that the retailer through which we had ordered our cabinets and planned to order our granite countertops was very unreliable. We realized that we needed to find someone else from whom to buy our granite. It was very close to the holidays. I called several places and they all told me it would take weeks before they could come out to do a template. I called Wholesale GMT and spoke with Michael. He said they could come out in less than a week to do the template. They came out four days before Christmas and three days after Christmas the counters were installed. Michael was warm and friendly and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. The countertops are stunning and expertly installed. Two days after installation, we realized that because of the small space we were working with something was too close and needed to be adjusted. They came out within hours on the same day and took care of it. I am more than satisfied. Their selection was so vast that we were able to find a beautiful unique slab. If I could leave 6 stars I would!!!! What a pleasure. We put new granite countertops in a large kitchen and a marble vanity in a bath. Incredible selection of marble and granite, very direct, fair pricing and extremely knowledgable staff. Simon (the owner) is the best -- he was always accessible and communicated frequently to make sure all was smooth. The guys that did the template were pleasant and knowledgable, and the installation guys were clean, thorough and accommodating. The turn around time was very quick, as we requested. (We have previously purchased granite from two other granite places. One was good -- just had a much smaller selection and less personal service, the other, COLONIAL, was AWFUL. Very Expensive, poorly cut, horribly installed and ZERO customer service. A costly, beautiful slab of granite was mutilated -- badly cut and poorly installed on our bar last year. ) GO to Simon at Wholesale Granite. This company is top notch! read more

My wife and I decided to redo our kitchen once again. After some research I decided to go with WGMT. I was not disappointed. My sales consultant was Michael Goldstein. Michael was exactly what I needed to complete this project! My project was time sensitive and everything needed to fall in to place for the next bit of work to be done. Michael was VERY attentive and kept constant communication which made you feel assured that all your needs were addressed and being met. He was always available via email or phone and just all around a good guy. I would highly recommend Michael and WGMT to whomever was interested in redoing their kitchen counters etc. One piece of advice.....JUST GO AND SEE THE SLABS! It is 150% important...thanks Michael we are loving the Kitchen now with the ceiling height quartz over the stove and the mitered island which look AMAZING. The install team, supervised by Vinny, is very professional and skilled. 5 projects were to install new quartz for my rehab, but the last project really impressed me. I needed existing granite cut to fit a new range I purchased. Gerhardts, where I purchased the range promised that they would cut the granite when installed. After waiting 10 months for the range (supply chain issues) it turned out Gerhardts could not cut and polish the granite. Gerhardts actually recommended Wholesale Granite, a company that I already used and loved. I wish I could give 10 stars We recently added a bar to our basement, because we decided to do this during the covid-19 pandemic we could not go shop for the bar top. We decided contacted WGM and Simon helped us every step of the way. He was very patient in sending us pictures of different granite and quartz. We made a decision and chose the quartz we liked on a Wed afternoon, Thursday morning our template was done and our bar top was delivered and installed the next morning. I called Whole Sale GMT on a Saturday, Simon came out Monday morning gave me a free estimate for my quartz countertops. I loved the price we scheduled a second appointment to get the template done which was the following day and within a few days later the countertops were being delivered and installed. The job was a little tricky but the installers did perfect cuts and made it work. Definitely worth every penny. I originally had a backsplash picked out and after having the countertops installed, I quickly changed my mind and called Simon up again to do the backsplash job. We were very happy with the quality of the product and quality of customer service. We were working with Michael as our project manager, and he was amazing: he expertly and quickly guided my husband and I through a crazy amount of choices that would have definitely overwhelmed us if not for his guidance. Excellent experience with this company! LOVE our new quartz which makes a big difference in the look of our kitchen. Their showroom is beautifully laid out, the staff are kind and helpful. They rose to the occasion for us because the crew ( Fabulous) had to remove all our current granite without, if possible, harming our glass tile backsplash. I was recommended to use Wholesale Granite Marble & Tile from a few people. I was very happy that I went with this company. The service, attention, and advice was great. I was able to visit the showroom and see what options I have as well as some pictures. Once my kitchen cabinets were ready the installers came out very prompting to measure the counter and few days later to install. They also measured the back splash at that time also and installed as well. I did a waterfall counter which is stunning. We came in to Wholesale GMT looking for replacement counter tops, but with no idea what we wanted or how the process would go.
