I made a mistake buying policy with this agency, I wanted to change my policy from landlord to homeowners and it is a simple change. 1st attempt: When I reached out to customer service, they redirected me to the agency and they said they are too busy serving other customers and I was told that they will change the policy and send me the confirmation over the email and I would receive a phone call. I waited for a week and have nor receive a call. 2nd attempt: I reached out to the agency again and someone answered and said they will call me couple of hours. I also said this is my second attempt. They promised me the phone call but never called me again 3rd attempt: I called again after 3 hours, he gave the same reason saying I am the only agent here and extremely busy, my response was if you are very busy to service the policy then why did you sell it, in this case I would go ahead and cancel. His response was "I will transfer you to customer service for cancelling" and he transferred me to customer service. I immediately disconnected the call and bought a policy and cancelled this one. Never buy policy with this agency, try a better agency who has time to handle customers. We deserve better service after paying lot of money on the policy. read more

This AAA branch is a joke. I am a member and took a 9:20 appointment and even though my name was at the top of the next to be served list but these guys took walkins just coming in cos they were already in contact with them on meeting when they come in. When I raised the concern they are further subdividing categories on why I will be taken later. There is no point taking an appointment and at 09:30 I am being told to wait for further 15-20 mins before I can be taken care. AAA is good but avoid this branch. Pretty useless. What they don't understand or don't care is cos of their "personal relationship prefential treatment" and appointment for someone can become like a walkin and impact rest of the day. One more notable thing, if someone talks to you impersonating as branch manager. Please do not assume but ask them explicitly if they actually are branch manager at this branch. This branch is very clean with exceptional staff to boot. I went here for the renewal of my car registration and transfer of car title. They gave me my car tag/sticker after payment. For the car title transfer they gave a clear instruction and recommended me to a nearby smog check center before I can get the title transfer done as it's one of the requirements by DMV. After the car passed the smog check I got the title transfer done. If you live near to this location and a member of AAA and you have some DMV errands (except for driver license process), and getting insurance this place is a big convenience. read more

I've been a member for several years. Usually i go to rockridge which has worked well for me on any DMV need. I had questions involving an out of state vehicle. Before answering, the representative told me that they did not do "walk ins" for out of state transfers. The hand written post it note was ok for five items but telling me , again, telling me that i needed an appointment. There's a bit more to not went right but i'll spare you the details. read more

Came in to utilize the DMV counter. DMV employee was very professional. She was informative and ez to speak with. The AAA office was clean and new-ish. I had the great experience of walking in without an appointment, and with only a short wait, was kindly and competently helped by Sonam to take care of an address change, an overdue registration and even a referral to a local smog inspection station. I went directly to the station, who took me right away. I was able to go back to the AAA and get my registration card and tags! Why go to DMV to handle your vehicle registration needs, when you can visit a CSAA Branch and handle your business with ease. This branch doesn't seem to be as busy or crowded as some of the other CSAA branches in the area, which is a plus. I went to pay for my vehicle registration and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Try and get those results at DMV. Due to COVID-19, they will screen you before you enter, which is essential and keeps everyone safe. There was one customer being helped, so they asked me to wait inside the front door until the other customer was finished. Once they were done, I was tended to quickly and efficiently. let me begin by saying that this negative review didn't need to happen. I went to the AAA office for the first time since I've been a member. Usually I like to do everything online so there is no need to actually go to the office but my registration is coming up due soon and I can't renew online so I decided to take advantage of the services offered thru my membership. I present my registration bill to the worker and she asked me for my ID. I had used it yesterday and forgot it at home but offered to have my daughter take a picture of it. She said "no". I offered to log into my account in front of her she said "no" then I said look im paying with my debit card and I can enter the pin, she said "no". I asked for manager and she says her manager is on vacation but to talk to this other lady, her name Nes. so Nes doesn't even begin to listen to me when she interrupts me and starts to tell me how its policy. She then mocks me and says that the DMV wouldn't accept my payment and that they wouldn't accept a picture ID. Why would she make that reference?? idk but I have gone to the dmv and paid someone else's registration with no issues. but anyway I ask for her to show me the policy. she goes to her computer and begins to search. Once she found what she was looking for, she calls me over and with a very sarcastic tone of voice says "here go ahead and read this, I got you what you wanted to see" (moral victory). I "thanked" her and asked for her managers name. she gets me his business card and thanks me for coming in. I was super frustrated at this point so I tell her her sarcasm is not appreciated and she responds "THANK YOU FOR THAT HAVE A NICE DAY". -----did she just thank me for that??? I was about to call her manager when I remember he was on vacation. so I asked her for her manager's manger. She gives me Toms number. I called Tom and of course no answer! I'm keeping my AAA but I really do like the roadside assistance but I'll be damn if I ever go to this AAA again. Nes has a very poor customer service. Oh and I forgot to mention that it was empty in there!!!! no one was there!!! discouraging customer from coming isn't going to help them! so Nes- you're a terrible employee. and to the manager there- please call me!! read more

This is for the DMV services. Associate told me I could not transfer the title due to the seller being an LLC. They said I needed forms from FTB and that I would need to go to a business DMV. I knew they were wrong. I decided to go to AAA on Brokaw where they have more experienced people. I was able to transfer the title there. read more

Love everything about this branch! From the start to the end. I didn't even have to wait for the services I needed. As soon as I got in, a friendly Customer service Rep. Greeted me with a smile, then directed me right away, to the DMV service I needed. Then i was down within 10 minutes. Awesome service. And was nice conversing with the Friendly Customer Service Rep. That helped me. The ambiance of this place is Awesome too for me. Clean and well kept. But the one I missed, is, that they closed down since Pandemic was their coffee machines. This is a review for the dmv services @ aaa. I didn't realize they could do such a 1:1 match for the horrible experiences you have at the DMV, but they did exactly that! No sign in / wait line. They randomly beckon at the people at the front who should come up while the ticker says no one is waiting. They give you the wrong forms (2013 version instead of 2018) and then give you additional unnecessary forms for the requested services. They try to explain that services are available online, but I can clearly reference the DMV site saying online change of address requests are indefinitely suspended. Then they proceed to explain that the only option is to get a Real ID in broken barely understandable English (not true). They're less competent than a google search and can't provide even a fraction of the services at the DMV. Why even waste your time here! Thumbs down to AAA. read more

Horrible attitude from some POC female here. Been a AAA member for a long time and I came in with a simple question that I didn't want to wait a long time to find the answer to. Only needed a yes or no answer. All I got was attitude from this female who acted like she was on a power trip and told me to wait my turn. When I indicated that it was a simple yes or no answer so that I didn't have to wait she just tried to ignore me. Another girl working there tried to be more friendly and the first female with attitude shut her down and told me that she wouldn't be able to help me. I've waited at 2 other AAA offices in the past just for them to tell me that they didn't offer the service I was looking for at those offices and I didn't want to waste time again waiting behind 3 other people. This office had no queue or number system in order to take a number or sign in and I was not able to find the answer on the website. Unprofessionalism by people in general these days is completely unacceptable. What am I paying AAA for just to get attitude?! read more

This place have the worse attitude! My mom is a member for almost 2 decades and for first time I get to saw the Vietnamese short hair lady who check in customers with such a bad attitude! My mom doesn't speak English so she was helping my mom but have the worse attitude! You would think Viet to Viet will help each other but NO! She kept telling my mom that my mom missing documents and made my mom wait for hours and come back and forth but did not let my mom know what she missing. fourth time I took my mom back and I went in myself and asked her but all she said is she don't know!! I don't understand if you don't know than why you open your mouth in first place? My mom went in renew her insurance, made all full payments for a year, she got her smog paper and everything she needed, all she need to check in and get the registration sticker! I reach out to the manager and look like the short hair lady told her side of the story before and the manager was attitude with me too!! I thought in bussiness wise, customers come first!! This place make us feel like shit!! Bottoms line is this place take your money in real fast but very poor services with bad attitude!! read more

They take care of business if you get the right agent/employee but I got much more useful information on some questions I had about registering my out of state car at another AAA, I felt like they made it more difficult then they had to. I won't come to this location again unless it's the only AAA in a 25 mile radius.
