I had some important documents for my mom to sign. She is unable to get around anymore. I was on my way home from having this paperwork prepared when I thought I would look here on yelp to see if someone was available to come to my mom. The first name I saw was Anna's and her 5 stars tell it all. I called up, she asked where my mom was, I told her , I ask when she could come and help us. She was here with in 30 min. We had 3 signatures that had to be notarized. Anna is very patient and kind, as my mom has a broken wrist and had to take her time trying to sign. Due to a real serious mix-up with our lender, I didn't find out until 8:15 a.m. this morning, that I had to have my loan docs notarized immediately, and overnight to them or risk loosing the low interest rate that we locked in. I searched Yelp for the best, and called Anna at 8:30 am and told her my predicament. She was very understanding of my situation and responded accordingly. She worked me in to her schedule and made arrangements for her to be at my house between 12:00 and 3:00. To my surprise, she texted me at 11:15 and said she would be there in 15 minutes. I can't say enough about how professional and thorough Anna was while performing her duties. She knew exactly what needed to be done, and arranged the paperwork in such a way, that made it so much easier for my wife and I to sign all of the documents. She even double checked everything to make sure nothing was overlooked. My wife and I were so impressed with her professionalism and work ethic, that we actually gave her more than the price she had quoted us. This lady is a hot mess. My father had a rough battle with Covid that left him seriously disabled and unable to care for himself. We realized to sort his business we now need a power of attorney because he is unable to sit up in bed let alone go to the bank. Made a 4:00 appointment, she changed it to 4:15 because of traffic, no problem. She calls but I'm in a school site council Zoom meeting so I can't answer the phone, but I ask what's up. Texts at 3:50 saying she's outside and needs our cats put away. Ok I tell my son to get the cats. But I let her know we have seven cats (we foster) so did she want to do what we could outside. No cats go in my dads room but at least we could limit her having to come in. Now our cats at this point are already in my daughters room. But she agreed it's best to go outside. Even says we could take my dad the paperwork as long as she has his id, which seems weird and kind of defeats the purpose of the notary, but whatever. I grab our id's and we head outside. We hang out on the porch waiting. I'm gardening, I grab my green bin from the street, we had a floor guy parked in front of the house who left for the day, all this while she never walks up to the house. Then she left. Texted us she was leaving nearly 10 minutes before our appointment time, and when I'm like what do you mean you left, she said to bad. I'm like where were you? We've been waiting on the porch the whole time, she tried to say the middle of my driveway? I have three cars in my driveway so that's impossible if I hadn't already knew it wasn't true because I was walking up and down my driveway. Then she says she parked down the block from my house? I guess I was supposed to scour the neighborhood for random cars, but either way she refused to come back. It was truly one of the most ridiculous conversations I have ever encountered, but after the stress we've been under I was still in tears. So we found someone actually reliable off of Yelp, which I suppose I should have done in the first place before going with a friends referral. There are 2 Yelp listings with her same cell number so be careful. Don't bother with this notary, she's not worth the stress. read more

Watch out when working with Anna. Worked with her on two different signings within a 2 day period. After explaining the documents and what needed to be signed she quoted me a price of $110 for the first job which we agreed to and even offered to pay her $40 more! Then for the second job it was the same exact thing, made me print out the papers for my clients, rushed us through the process even then she quoted me a price and we willingly offered to pay her $70 more. Before the singing ended she added herself on my Venmo and I showed her confirmation of receipt for the payment and we went our separate ways. Later that day she asked me about the payment because she did not receive it for whatever reason through Venmo. I called her the next morning to get things taken care of but to my unfortunate surprise found that she called my clients bad mouthing me and making nasty comments about the payment confusion. Even after I contacted her the next day she didn't respond for a whole day wouldn't take any calls, texts only and very nasty about the situation.
