My car battery that they put in my car didn't last a yr. I had to call them to come out and jump my car and when the driver came he put a jump on the car and they told me I couldn't drive my car because it had a bad alternator and he had to tow it to the dealership and when I talk to the dealership we where on the same page with my car that the battery was dead and not reading the alternator right so we call aaa to come back to the car and put a new battery in it and this guy try to say the samething the guy did the day before about it being the alternator. Well I told he to put a new battery in the car and we will see who is right so he did and the car started right up for me and when he put the tester on the car the alternator was good. This guy's need to be retraind and know how to fix an easy problem. read more

I had an unexpected breakdown on Route 78 on Friday the 13th, and AAA Northampton handled everything with genuine care. The woman who took my call was kind, reassuring, and made sure I was safe while arranging a flatbed. Easton Auto Body arrived in under 10 minutes, and Mario was exceptional. He introduced himself warmly, checked to make sure I wasn't standing in the cold, and treated both me and my S550 with real professionalism. His demeanor felt more like concierge-level service than a typical tow--calm, respectful, and attentive. Later that evening, he even sent photos confirming my car was safely delivered to Integrated Automotive Service. Integrated Automotive received the vehicle exactly as promised, parked neatly and handled with care. What could have been a stressful night turned into an experience defined by kindness and true customer service. Extremely disappointed in their notary staff. I stopped in this morning shortly after they opened to get my will notarized prior to an upcoming deployment. The receptionist was extremely friendly and checked me in quickly and pointed me to the correct waiting area. I was second in line and didn't wait long at all before a Ms. Smith (forget the first name) called me to her desk. When I explained to her what I needed, you could instantly tell she wasn't very interested in helping me. I emailed the will sent to me by our JAG office and she printed it out and read it over. I needed just two witnesses in order for this process to be completed and in an office of over at least 10/15 people, I thought that wouldn't be a problem... after all it is a service they are supposed to provide. Before even looking to see if any of her co-workers were free, Ms Smith told me that because I didn't come with any witnesses there wasn't much she could do for me. She said that I could wait, but wasn't sure how long it would be. I explained to her that I am leaving in less than a week and have a whole apartment I needed to pack and move so I would go elsewhere, which I did. Thankfully Lynn's notary in Palmer was able to help out (despite it being a much smaller office). This is the second issue I have had here over my 11 year membership. AAA is absolutely pathetic and the only people that make the membership worth it are their on road services teams. read more

I have gone to the office many times and have never had a bad experience. They are a slow moving office, so go in when time is not an issue. I used my AAA car service a couple times without issues. Ran out of gas while on a hill feeding my baby and a flat tire in my driveway. I am glad I have this service and will continue it. read more

For over twenty years we have paid for RV Plus. We needed it for the first time last weekend. They left us stranded!! Told us they didn't have any heavy tow trucks available that day and probably the next. Told us we have to find our own way and then get reimbursed!! Had my car towed yesterday. Great truck driver from ABE. They towed my car home which was needed but left me standing there. I couldn't ride alone due to covid rules. Stupid and unsafe. My car is gone without me. I have no ride, and no arrangement was made to get me home. This could have been potentially dangerous. Why strand a person alone with no ride in the cold. I went into the AAA Northampton County office today off of Hecktown road. I was going to purchase a couple of little things for stocking stuffers. I gathered my items and I stood in line behind a couple who were purchasing many different items. I waited there for 3-4 minutes while there were three other women behind the counter all ignoring me for some reason not known to me. I thought maybe that the other three people could not check people out. A man walked in and one of the ladies perked up and immediately asked if she could help him. He had forgotten something in his car and had to go back out to his car. I was visibly upset so finally One of the other two ladies not waiting on anyone told me I could go to her. I asked her if they were all able to check people out and she said yes. I left my items on the counter and walked out. In my opinion this is an example of horrible customer service!!!! read more

I would have easily given this place a four star review based on all of my prior experiences here, however after today one star is pushing it. I recently bought a truck from my grandparents so my nanny and I went to get the title changed. We had the misfortune of dealing with Karen. While I went to my truck to get my insurance card Karen asked my grandmother the sales price of the truck. Instead of explaining to us how we could have said it was a gift to avoid the unnecessary taxes she demanded the price that I've paid to my grandparents. To make a long story short something I thought would cost $250 at most ended up being over $1,100. I understand Karen has to be by the book with her job, but she could have explained the way the pricing was determined, especially to my elderly grandmother. She also could have given me the price as soon as she figured it out. Instead she drew up all the paperwork, notarized it, and then gave us the price, followed by a "well you could have went to a different notary". I haven't seen my nanny that upset in a very long time. What a shame , because I've always been treated well at this location. Moral of the story is if you have Karen as the person switching your title ask a lot of questions, don't sign anything and get the prices immediately so you don't get taken advantage of. Horrible roadside service. Promised 35 mins for help to arrive and nothing for an hour. Called back and was told he took another higher priority and that it would be another hour. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told there are no supervisors on Saturday. Still waiting for help to arrive. AAA is not the company it once was and unfortunately we have to find out how bad they are now only when we are in a desperate situation. I've been to this location many times over several years to purchase gift cards, theater tickets or speak with a travel agent. All visits thus far have been positive and have not to date experienced any issues at this location. I haven't used the roadside assistance or insurance resources from this location, can't speak to those options. read more

Do not under any circumstances place your insurance with AAA. I had an accident one month ago. The police charged the other driver with careless driving-clearly I was not at fault since the other driver crashed into me when I was stopped for a light. I had to pay $1000 of my own money to get the car fixed. This was the first accident I was involved in with over 50 years of driving. Still no word as to when I will get my $1000 other than being told that I may never get the $1000 since "AAA does not take losses". That is a direct quote from a AAA employee. If something changes I will get back here to give an update but stay aware from AAA unless you want to pay twice-once for your premium and then to have a repair made with your own money. Bottom line you can and will do better with an insurance company who cares about you, not one who does not want to take a lose read more

Never again! AAA was recommended to me by my mother for home owners insurance. I have my car insurance with Statefarm but stupid me went with AAA because 'mother knows best.' Anyways. I bought my house on the 17 of October and AAA had taken pictures of my house and gave me a policy. Next thing I know, late November, I get a letter from my agent telling me that the underwriters do not like the condition of my roof (it's slate) and I need to have it inspected and repaired or I forfeit my policy. The agent also said in her email that it was her opinion that they are doing this because of what had happened in Buffalo. I live nowhere near Buffalo, mind you. So I set up an appointment and have Alicksmith Roofing come out (great place btw) and I was there for the inspection but my boyfriend was. It was told to me that the inspector was very confused as to why he was even there. He said our roof looked great, certified it, and a few days letter, I had a letter of certification. So I forward the letter to my agent thinking that was it. She comes back to me saying that she will submit it to underwriting but once again with her opinion, stated that the roof looks rough. Okay? So I wait a few days. My agent finally gets back to me with the verdict. Underwriting believes that they are right and my roofer was wrong. Pretty much throwing aside a reputable company and saying that either I need to fix it or increase my deductible to $2500. Then she goes on again to state her opinion, and say that she will give me the number of her person roofer, someone she "knows and TRUSTS" around her roof. I was appalled. I waited a day to respond because honestly, I was livid and needed a day to breathe and figure out what I was going to do. I did consult with some individuals and they did advise me that what was going on may be illegal, but that's another story. So the next day I respond to her asking for a detailed explanation of how they came to that decision and why it was legal to just up and change my policy like that. This is the jist of what I sent. Two days go by and I get no answer from her. In the meantime I did some shopping around and I got a quote from Statefarm and they assured me they would honor my certification for my roof. So after two days of no reply, I emailed my agent asking when I could come in to cancel my policy. I waited 3 more days and she still never replied! Now, I have to email because with my work schedule, I can not get to them before they close, and I work at a call center where I can't make phone calls through out the day. So this is my only means of communication. She was straight up ignoring me at this point! So that Saturday (mid January) I took a trip to AAA where of course there she was! Doing nothing. I sat with someone else, who happened to be next to her. He was a great help. He was very understanding of my situation and didn't try to push me to stay. He went ahead and starting the cancellation process. So now I am with Statefarm and I haven't looked back. If you have a slate roof, do yourself a favor and don't go to AAA. Afterwards I looked up reviews and saw that they are notorious for doing this to people with slate. read more
