I contacted Prisma Glass for my custom shower project. Our Shower is a little different from normal, due to some exposed plumbing. Their estimate was the best of what I got, and the lead time for the glass manufacture was good, so I decided to go with them. I was a little apprehensive at first, due to a bad review on Yelp, however I liked the people, Kim in the office was very kind and helpful, and Steve was very kind, polite and efficient when he came to take the measurements. I trusted them, and rightfully so. Steve did a beautiful installation for the shower. It really is perfect, and it looks great. Amazing work, and value for the price. I hired AAA Prisma Glass to measure and provide a glass shower door. Unfortunately he was rather cavalier when he took the measurements and provided a product 1/4" too large for the shower opening. Currently we have to force the door shut and something is going to break this way. After calling him and getting no satisfaction, I filled with the Better Business Bureau. He never responded to the BBB. The BBB case has been closed and he now has a "B" rating. I ended up having Bolingbrook Glass take over and they are providing a new fixed glass panel 1/4" narrower than Prisma Glass supplied. That is $282 dollars out of my pocket because AAA Prisma Glass did not stand behind his own measurement. read more

STAY AWAY!!!! Absolutely the worst business I have ever dealt with. Upon meeting and receiving a quote to replace the glass in my patio door, everything seemed great. Could get it done in a timely fashion and provided a discount from the original price. I was working, so I had someone there to allow them access to the door. First, they left glass shards inside the house on the carpet. I was asked to just vacuum it up myself. They left a large amount of broken glass on the ground outside without cleaning it up! Apparently they replace the glass, but no clean up is done. All the glass they did pick up was placed in our recycling bin completely loose and not in a bag. Therefore when it was collected, it might dump over the street and sidewalk. When I asked about the glass left on the ground, I was told I was given a good price and asked to clean it up myself! Once I released more glass was placed in bin loosely, they finally offered to clean it up and made it seem like I was unreasonable and should simply be grateful for the price!!! I was specifically told that it was a mistake on their end to give me a good price and I should simply be grateful for the work done. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! Do not use. After obtaining quotes and feeling pretty confident that we were choosing the best people for the job, Steve came in with 2 other guys to install a floor to ceiling glass panel that had shattered (one of 5 to make up a conference room wall). There's a privacy film along the center of the panels that was scratched on the neighbooring panel in process (can't prove they did it), so we decided we'd have to replace film on both the new and second panel. I frankly trusted that they did a decent job until the guy came in to put the film on, who immediately pointed out that the caulking was uneven, clumpy and smeared, and the glass panel was bowed in the center. Also, the paint was chewed up in the wall where it bordered and the space between was significantly less than the others. I contacted Steve and the office of AAA Prisma Glass and was told, although I'd obtained a guarantee of 1.5 years for installation, that they were not responsible - period. This required spending an additional $1000 to clean up enough to replace the film on both. Horrible workmanship. Horrible customer service. Can't believe people can do such shoddy work and feel good about leaving it in that state. read more

We used AAA Prisma to help us replace a mirror that was shattered by movers while being transported. The mirror was custom and was part of an intricate and very sentimental 8 ft tall curio cabinet. We gave the dimensions and these guys had it ready in less than 24 hours - they even offered to help install. Unfortunately, the first cut was a little large. We had it cut down, and then realized the thickness was throng depth. Because Prisma was aware from the beginning that the mirror was for a curio cabinet and should be a thin sheet they obliged and created a completely new mirror free of charge which was PERFECT!! Their commitment to our customer satisfaction was the reason we called them when it was time to install a giant mirror in our basement. We would definitely use this company again as it's not easy finding this level of customer service!! read more
